+ -1 moreEveryone from intial sales contact to mgmt were extremely polite and professional. The crew performing the work left the place with no trace of their having been there. Left over paint though promised, was not left behind. The problem comes to the areas where they chipped away old areas which were blistered etc. The new coat was simply applied over the areas without their being sanded smooth. This left these area unsightly.Make sure you get assurances this won't happen .Otherwise they were friendly and helpful.
Description of Work: Painting exterior of home. Glazing and caulking windows. The overall price was considered premium by others I spoke with.

+ -1 moreThey came and gave a written quote. They call you to check if any there was any deviation. They did a master quote. They took my permission before proceeding with it. You don’t have to pay them until you are satisfied with the work. I would use them in the future.
Description of Work: I used Certa Pro Painters last month. They painted the exterior of my house. The paint job was $2200 and the minor wood work that they did was $300.

+ -1 moreThe salesperson was friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy. He gave us a written estimate and recommended a carpenter (which we hired and liked his work) for some water damage on our siding. Once we made up our mind on the colors, we sent in the proposal and the salesman scheduled the paint job for a date two weeks later. The painters were neat, professional and did a quality job. The prep work was thorough and the paint job was excellent. They will able to complete the job in two days. They cleaned up their mess and during our final inspection, immediately fixed a couple of minor issuses. I especially liked not having to pay a penny on the paint job until it was completed to our satisfaction. The final bill matched the estimate. We will hire again when we paint the interior.

They were professional at the outset--Jodi provided references, insurance information, etc. in a folder she left with me during our initial meeting. We were able to schedule the actual paint job for about 10 days later. Carmelo and his crew did a fabulous job and were impressively quick. Scraping, masking, painting and clean up took only 3 days. Carmelo checked in often to make sure my questions were answered. I will say that the owners of the company did NOT check back in with me after the job was done, which I would have expected. Overall, though, a quality job was done for a reasonable price

Description of Work: Certapro gave us a bid of $2500.00 to paint the exterior of our 4 bedroom 2-story home. Jodie assisted us in picking out the color. We were able to go several shades lighter without an additional charge. Unfortunately, our home had some rotten siding. Jodie put us in touch with a great carpenter. He did a very good job repairing our siding, which cost about $1200.00. Dallas, the carpenter, was extremely knowledgeable. He helped us figure out what had caused the the siding to rot in the first place (leaking windows). He took pictures of the damage and gave us the names and numbers of several companies that could assess the window problems. He was very quick and was even willing to stay later and finish after the painters found several other soft spots in the siding that needed repairing. The painters did not paint the trim around our patio door or the trim on the back of our house. As the trim was previously painted a trim color,Jared, the owner, worked with us and had the painters complete the trim on the back. The painters broke the bottom of a pot and Jared offered to replace the pot. Very professional company and easy to work with. We thought the quote on the painting was extremely reasonable, and the house looked great when they were done! The carpenter was awesome, we have recommended him as well as Certapro, to our friends.

+ -1 moreI phoned them, explaining our plans to get the outside of the house painted. A representative visited, either shortly thereafter or the next day. She answered our questions about color and type of paint, giving us the facts that we needed to know to make a good decision.The most pleasing aspect of the experience was the interaction with the representative. Without our prompting, she knew when to step back to allow us to have a private discussion, and perceived when we needed HER input directly. She explained how to make the right color decisions,so we would not have second thoughts after the job was done. The painting crew arrived within a day or two of our final decisions.The job was done quickly, perfectly, and quietly (I work at home), over only 1-2 days. When we are ready, we'll ask them to do the inside painting. AND...We thought the cost was very fair.
Description of Work: Prompt and professional evaluation. Assistance in our making decisions whenever asked. Guidance about the "little things," that should be considered. All this without pressuring us at all. Very pleased with work -- and the price.

+ -1 moreRelatively prompt response and estimate. Thought that was a little pricey but called 5 of 8 references and all seemed quite favorable. Long story short, late getting started, painted one room the wrong color, some confusion on Paint quality and cost, and apparently no one knows how to trim or fully cover the wall with paint! I critiqued the %$@-* out of there job, and several times they attempted to fix my issues, but I eventually got too frustrated with their sloppy work, so I cut them loose and still had to finish myself. Paint on woodwork and floor, tore carpet pad in one of the rooms, all corners had NO paint. They might have been worth the money if they'd done a decent job. I would never recommend this company!
Description of Work: I contacted them and got and estimate for them to come and paint 7 rooms of a property I own. Patching and painting ceilings and walls.

+ -1 moreThe estimate was great. We used Angie's List to select them. They were able to fit us in their schedule about two weeks ahead of what they had originally suggested. The first afternoon they did the prep work. The next morning they finished the prep and painted about 1/2 of the house. The third day they finished painting by lunchtime. It looks wonderful and thick. It looks like it has way more paint on it now than when we built the house 8 years ago. The staff was professional and courteous. There was no mess to deal with during the process. If you want a high quality, professional paint job at a very reasonable price go with Certa Pro.
Description of Work: Exterior painting of our home. We have a two story that is roughly 3,800 square feet with a walkout basement. The job looked to difficult for us to consider doing ourselves. We got some quotes last year and when we heard the price decided to wait a year.

+ -1 moreI selected CertaPro not only because it submitted the lowest of three bids, but because it was the only Angie's list company rated A three times. Even so, I wouldn't have accepted the proposal if I hadn't been pleased with the personnel from the first contact through signing the contract. Also, it was the only company which included a copy of its liability coverage with its bid submittal. Every aspect of its work was as good as I could have expected. The company owner visited often to be certain the work was done properly, and that I had no questions or problems with it. I was impressed that the owner introduced me to the three workers the first day; certainly the workers were pleased to be with a company which so respected them, and it showed in the way they performed.
