CertaPro Painters® of Omaha

We were exceedingly pleased with CertaPro Painters of Omaha. They adjust to every problem or concern we have immediately. They were fabulous to work with. In the middle of the project, it flooded very unexpectedly and that did not disrupt the service at all, their workers kept going. Their price was higher than some but they made sure that you were very satisfies before the project is done and they use high quality materials. I don't remember having any problems, weather sometimes disrupts things but there's nothing anybody can do about that.

CertaPro has good pricing, it's reasonable. Their work is professional. I would use them again.

It was very good. They did everything great.

The provider was prompt, courteous, and professional. They cleaned up after they were finished and the quality of their work was fantastic.

They were behind schedule and didn't come our house until after they stated they would arrive. However, we were not in a hurry to have the job done so it wasn't a big deal. We had several estimated and they were the lowest bidders. We are happy with the finished product.

I had some carpentry work done 1st then they came in (CertaPro) and power washed, scraped and primed, etc. and then painted. They did an excellent job and kept me informed on the progress, etc. Had a little touch up work and came over right away and resolved them.

,They performed all that they promised but came up a little short on cleaning up afterwards. However, the owner, Jarrod, was quick to bringing people to clean up. Also owner had them put on a second coat, at his expense, in areas where one coat left a little to be desired. The owner performed this without me asking. A positive sign of good owner, and good business, is to make things right and making the customer happy.

Everything went fairly smoothly; house was power washed and some prep (scrapping and caulking) was done. House was sprayed and rolled in about 5 hours. Less paint was used than forecasted. On site supervisor there shortly and at end for job complete walk around. Price seemed high to me considering I supplied paint--i.e. essentially $2250 for a few man days of labor but other bids were higher!

We had a leak in our kitchen ceiling and the roofing contractor came out and inspected and said the painter didn't caulk around one of our bedroom windows, which caused the leak. I went up to see for myself, and we used a whole tube of caulk to fill the gap under the window. called CertaPro and no response. once they get the check, they disappear, no follow up, no attempt to determine if the job was done right or complete. We completed survey and indicated our dissatisfaction and never hear a word of follow up. I have a couple minor cosmetic issues, but frankly, If they were interested in doing a good job, they wouldn't have rushed off the job to the next job, or someone would have followed up to see if the job was done right. Update 10/5//2013: CertaPro owner came out today and inspected job. said the window caulking was responsibility of the window guy and the leak was responsibility of the roofer. I think he might be correct on the leak, but frankly, if he had been on site after the job was complete, I wouldn't have had the pent up unhappiness with the company. I felt like they wash their hands of the job, and would advise a prospective client to hold back 25% of the job until you are completely satisfied with the job. preferably a month to insure that no leaks are involved, in my opinion. Generally the job went well. Two issues: 1. The painting crew sealed all the doors to the house and my wife was stuck inside. The crew came on a Sunday and we were unaware they painted on Sundays. She had to call me to come home and ask the painters to open one of the doors. 2. The language barrier made it difficult to ask questions and get accurate answers.

Very timely and professional. Jerrod was in constant contact regarding timing of services and delays due to weather. Very responsive when i had questions regarding next steps.

Probably one of the best experiences I've had with a contractor. Jodi came to the house (approximately 1600 sq ft) at the scheduled time in her, "mobile office". She walked around the house and took detailed notes, took pictures and answered all my questions. Jodi then gave me an estimate on the spot, which I though was very reasonable and therefore we entered into a contract to have the exterior of the home painted. Jodi said they would begin within the next two weeks depending on the weather. The same day, I received a call from a Certa Pro employee asking if they could start on that same day. The Project Supervisor (Diego) and crew prowerwashed home (day 1). The next day they caulked and scrapped old paint (day 2). The final day the crew prepared the surface, taped windows/doors and painted the exterior of the home (day 3). The crew first painted with a sprayer, then went back over the area with a roller. Diego and his crew of five did everything exceptionally well. They cleaned up each day and told us when they would be back the following day. After the job was completed, we conducted a joint walk around to see if there were any areas that needed a touch up. The paint job looked terrific! Everything was done on time or ahead of time. Workers worked very hard, no wasted motion. I would use them again for painting without even getting any other bids.

The process from beginning to end was exceptional. There was a little delay with the carpenter support, but that was handled smoothly a day or two before house prep and painting. After initiating contact, Jodi Esser came out for the site visit and estimate. This was very easy and Jodi answered all the key questions. The bid included a discount for using Angie's List, so after some quick analysis we decided to go with CertaPro. Next was the paint selection phase and we were able to use on-line Sherwin Williams tools to match the paint colors. This took a few attempts, but we finally found a close match. Prep was two days, powerwashing the house and then two days to dry, which ended up to be five days. When they came out to prep the house, the team lead spoke with my wife and explained their plan. It didn't take too long, very diligent crew. Paint day started early and the very thorough crew was done by 3:30 in the afternoon. The sprayed and backrolled the paint for good coverage. Overall the house looks great.

This was a wonderful company to work with, throughout estimates, scheduling, and completion. The written estimate was very detailed. The owner verbally went over the details of the estimate. A clear list was provided of what the homeowner needed to do prior to painting. The bid price was reasonable, and turned out to be an excellent value considering quality and professionalism of owner and crew. When I asked advice on color placement on the trim, he was very helpful. Their prep work was thorough. The work was completed as scheduled . When done, the surroundings (landscaping) were in better shape than they were before painting (they set back in place a heavy birdbath).

The work completed was very good. Only disappointment was a little lack of communication. Did not give us a lot of notice that they were starting when they did. Also, didn't tell us that we needed to be willing to leave house unlocked so they could paint the front door. Did not allow this - a painter came back at 5:00 when I got home from work and did it then.

This company is very professional to work with. The workers were prompt and managed to get the work completed in a weeks time, they also had a carpenter that they worked with to repair and rotted wood that was uncovered when stripping the old paint. The work is excellent and looks great 10 months after the work has been completed. The price was very good.

They did the prep work in one day, and painted the next day with a crew of 4 men. The only part I did not like was having all of the windows and doors closed off with plastic cover. If you are claustrophobic, leave until the painting is done, and the plastic is down so the doors and windows can be opened. Over all, I am impressed with their work.

They came to the house to give us an estimate. The man was very helpful. I wish we would have used the service they offered to help with color choice, because I wasn't 100% pleased with what I picked. But other than that, they came and did the job meeting my high expectations for quality.

Estimate was very competitive and pretty much right on target with final amount. Had to use paint per Certapro's source (Pittsburgh paints, I believe); excellent job color matching. 2 workmen completed the job in less than a day; scraping was "ok" overall,some places done thoroughly, others hardly at all. Painting was done via sprayers (for the most part)--coverage seemed even (although I found a few small "missed patches" afterwards and took care of them myself).

I was very pleased with them. I would recommend them to anyone. They were clean and quick.

We had asked friends and co-workers for recommendations when we were shopping for a reliable home-painting company. The name that came up numerous times was CertaPro. After we called, Jodi came out to the house to give us an estimate and discussed paint colors with us. We agreed to the price and chose the type of paint to be used. We agreed on a date to begin painting. CertaPro showed up when they said they would and performed the painting job completely hassle-free to us. The paint job was excellent. We were very impressed with the fact that, had we not know they were there painting, we may not have noticed. CertaPro is a professional painting company and I would highly recommend them. I plan on using them again within the next year to do some interior painting as well.

They responded promtly to my call and Mike came out to do a walk around for the estimated cost. We went over everything that would be painted or not. Jarrod worked with me on how soon it could be completed because I had some minor carpentry work to be done as well as some concrete work to be completed on my front porch before the painting started. they painting crew was very professional and friendly. The prep work took about a day and half as there was much to do. At the end of day 3 the job was done and the head painter and I walked around the house to ensure all was good before they left. They left me some extra paint if I needed it later. Overall the whole team and company was great!
