It went smooth. I wanted reassurance the unit was safe and efficient going into another season and he set me at ease that it was.

When our A/C went on the fritz late yesterday evening, I called Brasch Heating and Cooling because they had done great work for me in the past. I figured with the weather now being so hot, it might be awhile before they could get to me, so if nothing else, I would at least leave a message to get in their queue. But even though it was after hours, Shane (the owner) actually answered the phone and told me he would be out a little before 11:00 the next morning. Shane showed up when promised--he even called beforehand to let me know he was on his way. He then spent over two hours meticulously diagnosing, cleaning and getting my A/C up and working correctly again. I can't say enough good about this experience. Shane went over and above the call to make sure I was taken care of and gave me a great deal on parts, labor, etc. Yes, it may sound like a fair amount of money, but there were some expensive (but cheaply made) foreign parts that had failed in a unit that was only four years old and poorly installed by another company. Shane replaced them with much higher quality American made parts. I know I would have paid considerably more than I did had I chosen another company to come out and do the work. Heck, lots of companies wouldn't have come out so soon unless your were a preferred customer or a member of some crazy, expensive service club. We could easily have been left baking in our house for several more days if not for Shane's kindness and willingness to be of service. I am not related to anyone at, or affiliated in any way with Brasch Heating and Cooling. It's not often that I am moved to write such a glowing review, but Brasch should be on everyone's short list when you have heating and/or cooling needs. You'll not find a more thorough, HONEST, punctual, and pleasant company to do business with in the entire Omaha metro area. And, they do GREAT work at more than reasonable prices. Thank you Shane for taking care of us!

Shane is great! He's very personable and you can tell he cares about his customers. After getting multiple quotes for a new furnace and A/C I chose Brasch and I'm glad I did! Thanks for a job well done, I will be calling Brasch for annual maintenance on both units. (He also referred me to a plumber who did a great job installing a water heater at an excellent price - Jerry, Man and a Pipe Wrench)

Service tech explaned that the system was running hot because the cooling fins were plugged so he spent a fair amount of time getting them cleaned out. He also advised on what furnace filters would do the best job of capturing dust/dirt and other pollutants. The only negative was that the service tech said he would put us on his schedule to follow-up with a furnace check in October, but that did not happen.

Arrived on time, spent time discussing what he was doing and why. Was able to give some pointers on how to possibly save some money during the reallt hot days. Will call this company to check the furnace later this year.

I had called a couple of times trying to get an appt. which would work for a furnace inspection. They were very good about rescheduling for a time that would work for me. They told me the cost of an inspection up front before I made appt. I did meet with tech JAMES and he was very professional, introduced himself and took his shoes off when he entered house. He did check furnace out and explained what he was doing and did clean a couple of parts.

The technician checked my heater and humidifier, and cleaned my system. He also gave me the status of how my system was doing. I was very happy with this visit, because last year the company I worked with for my annual hvac check up tried to up-sell me and tell me that several things on my heater were broken, when they were in fact not.

Brasch Heating and Cooling met our needs perfectly. Our A/C quit working on July 3rd. I can't imagine a worse day for the AC to die. We waited until after the holiday to call Brasch, we were referred to Shane the owner by a friend. Shane was very responsive and helpful. We had already received two other estimates but we wanted to get a third to compare. Shane was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain what needed to be done and what his rationale and thoughts were behind his recomendation. Brasch's price was very competitive and even more importantly we felt confident after talking with Shane that he was knowledgeable and was passionate about his work. He listened to our needs and recommended something accordingly. When he came to install the new AC and furnace that week he was very professional. He worked until 10:30 pm that night to make sure we didn't have to go another day without AC. You could tell Shane wanted to get the job done the right way and took the time to explain things and complete the job correctly.
