He did a thorough job, but only after I prodded him. I had to print out a copy of the deal and go over all the items included. It felt uncomfortable.

Realized our furnace was not working at 6am. Called Brasch at about 7:30. They had someone out by 9am, same day and had furnace up and running by 10am. Really appreciate the quick response and friendly service!

I was very impressed with the service. Mr. Brasch was very gentlemanly and kind. Everything was nice and clean i would use the company again.

Mark was right on time. He explained my furnace to me well. very informative. I was aware before he came that our furnace was too big for the size of our house. He confirmed my knowledge. What I appreciated about him was that he didn't immediately go into a sales pitch about an upgrade.

Did not come out when appointment was made. Had to make new appointment. They said they were real busy and could not keep appointment when first scheduled.

He was very helpful I will definitely use him again.

How'd it go? A: The estimate went well (I thought?). Shane emailed me to let me know that he couldn't make it to estimate the two jobs, due to a family emergency, but would send Mark. Mark showed up on time, was polite and seemed reasonable while inspecting the mini-split and the house A/C. After inspecting everything and 'shooting the breeze' about drafting in high-school, Mark's poor life-choices that lead to 'a few bad years', myself being an architect, his '68 Camaro and my '81 Firebird, he said it would take a few days to get the estimate together, but would have it for me the following week on Tues-Weds.....Great! He went to his truck and left.....NO issues. Good interaction, nothing to cause alarm or issues. On the following Thursday, I had NOT received the estimate, so I emailed Shane: NO Response. The next day, Friday, I emailed Shane at 2pm: NO Response At 3pm, I called Shane and he answered: He asked for my name (I gave it) and I had to remind him that I was the customer who had the mini-split and the A/C that needed to relocated.....not a big deal, people are busy. Shane told me that the estimate wasn't ready, but he would get it to me later in the day or on Saturday.....not a problem. At 6pm, I get a call from Shane and he tells me that he 'refuses' to give me an estimate. When I asked why, he then tells me that I 'threatened' Mark and that he refuses to put his guys 'at risk' and that he won't do work for someone 'like me'.......WTH???? Who, What, Where are you talking about Shane? If this is what Mark told Shane, I have NO idea why this was said about our interaction during the estimate. Why would I threaten someone over a free estimate? Mark was on-time, decent and I felt comfortable with Mark and Shane doing the work? Shane was recommended to me by my chiropractor, who I have known for 4 years. No work had been done and nothing but talking about the HVAC tasks, cars and drafting while Mark was 'estimating' the potential work. This one phone call from Shane has been the oddest phone call I have had with anyone in 10+ years and I have NO explanation (or idea) of what was said between Shane and his employee Mark. The only thoughts I have as to what went on between Shane and Mark is that I wasn't suppose to know about Mark's 'few bad years' that he probably failed to inform Shane of during his job interview or Mark was slow getting the estimate done or simple jealously........BUT I don't know? My biggest concern is that word travels fast in Omaha and I have NO idea what these two people are saying about me and about what NEVER happened. Due to the VERY ODD phone call and VERY ODD story Shane gave me, my recommendation is to be careful of Shane and Mark. I can only guess as to what 'medication' they are on or what is going on with this company.

Excellent job. We bought a deal either here or on Groupon that was for an a/c inspection and up to 1 lb of coolant. Tech arrived right on time and was very ok with me following him around to learn about the system. He went above and beyond by pointing the different components out and explaining their purposes. Inspection went smoothly and it turned out the a/c did need the coolant so having purchased the deal was nice. He did a good job cleaning the a/c components and cleaning up after himself. He also helped me adjust my ductwork to get more cool upstairs for no extra charge. He also did not try to sell me anything extra which was something I have encountered on these types of calls. Will definitely be using them in the future. Tech's name was Mark by the way.

We called Brasch Heating & Cooling in the early afternoon and they were able to send someone out that day. He was very friendly and professional, spent a lot of time answering questions and was very thorough. First the furnace and ducts were looked at and he gave advice on how to get more air flow upstairs. The temperature differences in the send and return were monitored as well. After that, he inspected the attic and the roof to look at some cooling issues we are having upstairs. He explained the problem very well and how we could resolve it. Then he spent time outside inspecting the AC. It was very dirty and he was able to clean it very well. The amp and volt draws were monitored, along with inspecting electrical connections. He explained things very well as he was going along. He was very personable and easy to work with. We noticed an improvement in cooling almost right away. We felt very comfortable with Brasch and will be using them again in the future.

Tech was very helpful. He did a thorough job and explained everything. He even helped us diagnose an air flow issue we had in our home. Will definitely use them again.

The technician arrived and found an issue with the inside mechanics and quickly mitigated it. This issue should have been found during my Furnace inspection last winter. He also was able to tell me that my AC compressor was on its last leg due to the fact that it was serviced a year ago and they had put a part on the compressor to jump start it. The technician did not try to sell me anything but did make it clear the AC was on its last legs. I was very please with this company and will definitely use again.

tech called before he arrived to make confirmation of the time I scheduled. he also as a surprise was on time. something I value. when he arrived he took his shoes off I already told him its ok to leave them on he said its ok I respect your house. hes very polite and asked if I had any questions or problems before he started hes check. I said no. he proceeded to do his job. he was very polite. I asked him questions he had and took time for all my questions. as he worked I was impressed. when everything was completed he explained everything he did and went out of his way. the cost was cheap. I picked brasch cause of there rating. didnt realize that there is good honest people out there. I will trll everyone about the company of brasch ill never call a big company again like aksarben,burton,service one,a1 nobody. ive had them all and they exceeded my expectations. period. mark,aj,and owner shane are the best. I will look forward to my new install

I'd noticed my air conditioner was not blowing cool air. Wouldn't you know that this happened on the hottest day so far this summer! I called Brasch on a Wednesday morning hoping the response would be as good as many of the other reviews said. I was not disappointed. I was told that somebody would be out to my house at 3:00 - because that was the earliest *I* was available. Mark was the technician who came out to my house. He was awesome! He was very friendly and professional. He checked over everything - inside and out. It turns out my A/C was low on coolant. Once it was full Mark checked all the vents in my house and even troubleshooted a problem I'd been having in one room since I bought the house. I HIGHLY recommend this company. It was such a great experience - not nearly as painful as I thought was going to be in my pocketbook. Mark was very funny and patient with all of my extra questions...and being a science teacher I had plenty!

I purchased a Angie's List service, supposed to include a 20 point inspection. After reviewing the list with my husband after services were performed, at least 5 of the items were not completed. However, some work was done at no charge, and that was appreciated. Technician was very prompt, courteous, my husband said he was a very nice individual. We would highly recommend the company gives a checklist to the customer to show which of the 20 point items were actually completed. Received a reply back from the owner of this company as follows "We will just go our separate ways and I'll continue to keep my satisfied customers satisfied." This was a curt, unprofessional, disrespectful and totally unacceptable. My wife and I are very easy people to please, but this company in my opinion is a scam and ran / employed by liars. When they "tech" put a hole in our duct work with his temperature probe, I asked when he was done if he was going to cover that back up and he responded "nah, that won't effect anything." When the "tech" checked the pipe outside, he tore away, not cut, tore away, the insulation, he did not tape it or even try to put it back on. We still have the same issue with our ac as we did prior to having this "company" out, only now we have $74. less in our bank account.... DON'T GET SCAMMED BY THIS 'COMPANY" Out of the so called twenty point inspection, the following items were NOT done; Calibrating and leveling thermostat (did not even look at it) Cleaning filters as needed Lubricating and inspecting bearings for wear (did not even look at) Cleaning indoor coil Flushing and treating condensation drain with anti algae product. I was told "just use bleach in that." Inspecting disconnect box for proper rating and installation Tightening all electrical connections Cleaning condenser coil and removing debris Inspecting duct work for energy loss

The technician that came to our house was very friendly and knowledgeable. He checked and cleaned both AC units and took extra time trying to figure out the crazy duct system in our house in order to improve the airflow. Very thorough and professional. I would definitely recommend Brasch Heating and Cooling!

We just moved into our home and couldn't find any evidence of any prior inspection or maintenance on our unit. All checked out good, just really dirty. No extra's were pushed upon me. I will be calling them about a maintenance plan in the future.

Because I will be moving from my home in the next couple of years, I wanted to install a similar quality unit, not replace the entire system (inside and outside) with an R-410 unit at considerably more cost. We had been without air conditioning for more than a week and the days were getting warmer. My wife suffers from asthma/COPD, so the combination of the humidity, heat, and pollen were making her miserable. I called the company that did my semi-annual service, but it took a couple of days for the salesman to come out. He stated that his company was prohibited by Carrier from installing another R-22 unit, and it would take more than a week for them to install an R-410 unit. I visited Angie's List, compared ratings and read reviews for the A List providers. I was surprised that when I called Brasch, the owner, Shane Brasch, answered my call and took time to answer all of my questions. The price was a little less than I had been told to expect from my regular service provider. I was boweled over when Shane told me that they could install a quality R-22 unit that morning! He reminded me that the unit came with a 5-year parts and 1-year labor warranty. The installers worked quickly and by the time I came home from work, the house was less humid and was cooling down. They had to replace another electrical part ($40), but the rest of the bill was what I was quoted on the phone. It's been a week, but the new unit seems to be doing a better job keeping the house cooler than the old unit ever did.

I knew the one air conditioner was older than the other 2 that we replaced 9 years ago when we moved in but I did not realize the older air conditioner was from 1981 according to its serial number. The 1981 air conditioner still works but it is low on Freon. We need to make a decision whether to spend several hundred dollars for Freon or several thousand for a new air conditioner.

they were totally through with their check.i asked alot of questions and tech was patient and informative. did not try to give me a sales pitch for a new furnace-i personally don't like when servicers do that unless i'm the one inquiring. really appreciated.

They did great work! The service technician was on-time, very friendly, professional, and got right to work. We chatted while he worked and he gave me a number of suggestions to help make my HVAC system run more efficiently such as by sealing up my ductwork and where to go to get an affordable air filter (ours is a unique filter not found at just any place).

Everything went well, and the gentleman explained everything clearly and patiently.

We live in the country, with a very inefficient house which runs both furnaces/humidifiers continuously. With routine house maintenance, we noticed that one of our humidifier hoses was leaking. It turns out that one of the Bid Deal's on Angie's List featured Brasch Heating and Cooling, advertising a $69 inspection of furnace/humidifier. We purchased a deal for each system. My husband called the company, and they were able to immediately come out to service our furnaces/humidifiers. Couldn't have asked for more prompt service. When they arrived, both units were inspected. The cause of the leaking humidifier was diagnosed. Parts were ordered and immediately replaced. Extremely happy and will use again, if needed.

Extremely professional and comprehensive in the service they performed. I have finally found a Heating/AC company that I feel I can trust, is courteous, and professional. Even the description of work on the invoice (all paperless) was detailed and easy to understand. I spoke directly with Shane Brasch and he sent a technician by the end of the day who was every bit as customer oriented as the owner. Excellent!
