I spoke to Tom A, the owner! He said he would come out either 8/12 or within a day or two at first of week. He asked many questions, which I was happy to provide. He never came out to do the estimate. Again, I would never recommend this provider and would surely tell anyone of my experience if asked about them. The OWNER even.

They did a great job and were very fast.

After the first visit there was some time that lapsed due to the 4th of July holiday. Once we got the final bid and selected the windows it went quickly. Very professional and tidy. The 2 gentlemen that came for the install walked me through what would take place, they were very neat, covered the floor and cleaned up completely inside and out when they were finished.

From the time that he came out, he has just always been so relaxed, so nice and made everything seem like it was going to be easy and so far it has been. I haven't actually had any work done yet but that's because he's been helping me deal with the insurance company to make sure everything gets resolve the way it should before we start doing the work. I got all the approvals from the insurance company and I have an appointment with him tomorrow to come out and complete the process and sort of getting everything moving, scheduling date, measurement and like that. His price seems very competitive.

From the initial call with Tom till the job was finished Tom was very responsive and listened to concerns and addressed them immediately. The crew that worked the job was very polite and professional. They took time to answer any questions I had and worked to adjust things to my liking when needed. We have 2 small dogs and they made sure that gates were closed if the dogs were out. There were some issues, that I believe should not have happened, but they were addressed in a very timely manner and to my satisfaction. Overall we were satisfied with the results. For people looking at any company to do siding and gutters I would recommend the following, as I learned this along the way. 1) Do a walk around the house with both the salesman and the foreman of the crew to discuss and address any areas of concern such as working around railings, fences, etc.. that are too close to the house to provide adequate space for the additional thickness of the siding products. 2) Make sure that all you discuss and agree on is in writing, no matter how small, so there are no issues when the work begins. I would recommend Albracht and will use them again in the future

This work was done in a rental property and I live out of town. They were very good at working around the logistical hurdles of me not being local and coordinating with the tenants for the initial estimate and final installation.

I calle Mr. Albracht for an estimate on siding. He called us back right away and came out to give an estimate. He was very professional and punctual. he took the time to go over samples and went over how the process works. We were very pleased with the experience. Although we did not get the siding yet we would call him in the future for work.

Our first stage involved replacement windows. Steve Albracht came and gave an estimate, which was not the lowest estimate we received, but seemed the most accurate without hidden costs. After accepting his bid, his crew came and measured for 12 vinyl replacement windows, including reconfiguring a triple living room window, replacing two smaller double hung windows with two casement windows to allow for better air flow through the house. Once the windows came in, they were installed in a day without issue. Stage two involved the installation of vinyl siding on the house and garage. Again, Steve came out for the estimate, gave us a sample of the siding in the color we chose. This was very helpful as I could color-match paint to the future siding color, and have the foundation and garage doors painted before the installation of the new siding. We also had leaf proof gutter covers installed. There were a few issues during installation that were all remedied. Our home had issues with a garage being out of level, and many obstacles to work around with the vinyl siding. The crew did a good job working around these challenges. Steve was responsive to questions and concerns we had, and responded promptly.

I spoke with Steve and he was very professional and even worked with me on moving the start date when I ran into financial difficulty. After I notified him that I was ready to move forward with the project, his worker was at my house within a week. Gutter covers were installed with minimal disturbance to me and my family.

They completed all work as agreed upon and did a fine job. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The overall experience was great. I really appreciated how respectful they were of the age of my house. The crews were great and worked in a timely manner.

Tom is quite affable. I didn't feel any pressure during the process at all. The installers were very nice, efficient, and thorough. The windows look great.

Note that our windows were installed in early April (2012) but have waited until now (June) to write a recommendation. Nothing short of great experience with this company, starting with my initial consultation. I had some preconceived ideas that window replacement companies “pushed” the energy savings aspect more than needed. This was not the case in our experience, just information with options. Our home is 21 years old and every summer there are several “unbearable” days when it has been impossible to maintain comfortable inside temps. Now that we have had several days in the low 90’s, this has not been a problem. Our windows were purchased for the aesthetic value and the much improved inside comfort level was a nice surprise. Very satisfied with all aspects of our purchase, not to mention doing business locally.

They are very good. They are on time and I have no complaints about them. They have done a wonderful job. The wood work looks great. They do what they have to do and they are very courteous.

The service was great, fine, and they had the lowest bid.

Replaced 5 aging windows in my circa 1950's home with new sliders (2 doubles and 3 triples). Owner worked hard to accomodate my rather pushy timeframes in order to net me an energy tax credit. In addition he made sure I understood the remediation steps he was required by law to take due to the age of my house and also gave me all the available options. Never tried to push a more expensive product on me and did a good job of working with me on deciding what I wanted done.Workmen were nice and arrived in a timely manner. Job took about as long as estimated. Overall was a very good experience.

Overall, the project went well for me. The price was above average, but reasonable. Basically, they have a 30-year reputation. So far, they have taken very good care of me with the quality of work at a reasonable price. They are not the cheapest, but they are consistently priced. So, I would prefer to go with them. It is not something they do that sets them apart from the others; they have the reputation. I would use them in the future.

He comes highly recommended from some friends who have used his services for many years. He is very high Angie's List. He is very professional and good to work with. He is very prompt to return calls as well.

He came out, walked around the house, and gave me an estimate in probably the worst weather in the winter. It was probably the coldest day. When we were ready to go with it, he was here very promptly and fleshed out the whole estimate for us. They ordered up the windows, and they were here within the timeframe that he gave me. They came and did the whole house in a matter of 3 days. It was 18 replacement windows. It was not taking the whole casings and everything out in all of them. It was whole new windows. I went from 30-year-old double-paned windows to triple-paned windows. They put the insulation and made sure it was all correct. They were punctual with the appointments.

They showed up on time to give us the estimate....they returned when they said they were going to. Completed the project in two days and we are now bird, squirrel, and leaf free! Very tidy and cleaned up their work zone. You wouldn't have known they were there unless you looked up and saw the gutters. Quite impressed with the crew, very polite and responsive to any questions we had. We enjoyed working with the company, and would hire them again.

Went great from start to finish. No real snags to speak of and the owners worked with me to determine what was a good fit.

The project was to start in 4 weeks but took 8 due to delays in product orders. However, once the project started it took 3 weeks to complete which considering the amount of work involved and heat level was very reasonable. They worked every workday and some on Saturdays. Sometimes 12 to 13 hours. Very professonal work crew, close to what you might see on Holms on Holms.

They installed the new gutters and in the course of the work I realized that really I needed to replace the roof which was leaking in several places, not just the problem of the old misaligned gutters! They did good work and Tom Albracht and the roofer he recommended, Jeremy Lundgren, have both been very responsive to another problem which arose (or became apparent) after the roof was replaced.

They were great right from the estimate. Came out, measured the windows, and gave me a free estimate. No pressure to sign on the dotted line, just call them when I made my decision. Once I decided to accept the estimate, there was a small down payment required with the remainder due upon installation. The crew that installed the windows was professional and obviously knew exactly what they were doing. They were extremely efficient and within about 2 hours I had my new windows in, there was no mess and they hauled away the old windows and mess with them. In fact it looked like no one had been here. I would certainly highly recommend this company for windows. I could have gone with those companies that offer $189 special windows and that's what I would have ended up with - cheap windows. I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for and Albracht came through with flying colors. I will use them next year when I replace my sliding glass doors.
