My wife and I moved to Omaha in 1996 and settled in Millard. After a year or so, we decided to update our home with vinyl siding and new windows. Since we were relatively new in the area, we were a bit nervous trying to find an honest and reasonable contractor to perform the work. I think we found Albracht's in the yellow pages (showing my age). Lucky us! From our first visit, Tom and Steve have always treated us right. They did a fantastic job 20 years ago and all during those years, they took care of us by standing by their product. Earlier this year (2018), we decided our home needed a facelift. This time, no hesitation on our part as to who we should use. We called Tom again and although he's 20 years older, he's the same Tom we first met. He gave us a nice price on new steel siding and his crew finished up this week. What a fantastic job these guys do. We are so happy how it looks and the quality of workmanship can't be beaten. You can't go wrong using Albrachts!

The siding job Perma Siding did for our house is beautiful., We have not stopped admiring our house since it was completed. Our utility bills usage went down by 80 units per month and a $1.10 per day. We lowered the heat from 73 degrees last year to 68 this year and the house is warm in every room and much quieter. Our windows were fogged over, we discussed the windows with Steve. He knew the manufacturer and the lifetime warranty, he found the order code inside the window frame. That piece of advice got us 5 new windows and we can see out again. That was personal attention saved us a lot of money. The company who did the warranty work on the windows made the comment what a superior job the installers did and how fortunate we had been to get such high quality work. I can quit saying, “I can’t retire until we get siding on the house.” I sent in my retirement letter today!

The entire process was very smooth -- Steve and Chris did a great job of showing me what was available and listening to what I needed in my 1920's home. My new windows look amazing, and are excellent quality.....I have recommended Albracht to several of my friends, and will continue to do so. Couldn't be more pleased with the results!

Being a former Facilities Manager I have dealt with my share of inferior contractors. Albracht Perma Siding is a rare exception to what I am accustomed to. As one other reviewer stated, they are first class all the way. Couldn't be more pleased with the service and product. They put the customer first and have a very high level of integrity. I would have absolutely no reservations recommending them for your next project.

Installed windows in one bedroom and the master bath. Generally went well but compared to an earlier experience with Renewal by Andersen the installers were not as professional and did not clean up as well. The new windows were dirty on the inside and outside and they left some debris on the bedroom floor. When the Andersen installers left the windows were clean and the floor was spotless. Having said that these windows were almost 50% less expensive so I would probably use them again and just ask them to clean up better before they leave.

It was fast and easy. They are easy to work with and flexible on scheduling. They didn't leave any mess and even cleaned the window that will require a ladder to clean in the future. We have used this company over the past 15 years for siding, 1st floor windows, and 2nd floor windows. Great quality and follow up customer service is excellent.

They responded promptly and had a good crew of guys. There were some mistakes, they measured the windows wrong but did take it back and replaced our big bay window.

It turned out great. They are reasonably priced. I was very happy with the end result. I would recommend them.

It came out perfect. We would definitely recommend them. We had a couple of companies come in and they were the ones we liked the most. It’s a family based business and the fact that they treated us so well. It was fairly priced. It was in the middle of the row between 2 other companies that had quoted us. We’re looking at getting our roof done as well since they do that too. They even came back to check their work after it was done. The owner came over to look at it to make sure everything was done.

They weren't the cheapest company with the estimates we received, however our concern was more with the quality and reliability with the company we chose. With all being completed at this time, I believe we chose the right company. Working with Steve Albracht was great- very nice, personable guy. Roof- was a little disappointed with the lack of detail / unequal measurement of the peak venting- however when it was brought to Steve's attention he had them correct it. Very satisfied with it now. Siding- this part needed to be scheduled FAR in advance. Siding and gutters look great. Our only real complaint was the lack of respect for our property as they used our umbrella base as a step up to the railing- to then step up on the roof. In doing this they cracked our umbrella base. However- Steve paid for this to be replaced with no questions asked. Also- I cringed as I watched the workers dropping nails/ walking on nails/ siding debris on our 2 year old deck. I kindly asked them to use a tarp to protect the deck and they pulled out a tiny tarp and placed it under the feet of one ladder. My husband spent an hour with a borrowed roller magnet picking up the nails and sweeping the debris from our deck. This, however, does not take care of the crap that is now stuck between the deck boards. I kindly asked Steve to ask the workers to PLEASE protect the deck while dropping debris from the roof/siding/ etc. they still only used this one tiny tarp that didn't cover even a 4 foot area of the deck. I then took it upon myself to place 5 large matts out along the deck to protect it. I don't feel I should have had to do this. I expect that there is going to be a mess after a large project, but I expect that contractors should do what they can to protect the surrounding structures. To continually walk on the dropped nails leaves permanent damaging marks. Not happy about that. There is also a nail still wedged in between boards on the deck. Overall- having worked with MANY contractors for many different projects, I feel this was a very minor issue and it wouldn't stop me from using them again in the future. I just may have the details spelled out in the contract about what kind of protection I want for the deck/ surrounding structures. Overall- quite happy with ALBRACHT siding. Thanks Steve!

Very professional. From the initial quote to the final details, they were easy to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I went out and got 3 quotes on this project (what I considered high, medium and low end companies). Everyone seems to use the same product, same warranty and all the bids were within $200. They presented my options during the initial visit and I did not feel any "sales" pressure at any time. They did not try to push their high end services/products. Steve was good at presenting the options. I wanted to make sure that the company would be around in 20 years to stand behind any warranty so I went with this company who is well established in Omaha. I also visited 3 other houses that had work done by Albracht and they all were very happy with them. This was a huge investment for us and we had to save for a number of years - so we were very picky. Steve (who is wonderful to work with), patiently answered all my questions. At the end, we had a few very minor issues and Steve was prompt in getting back to us and getting everything handled. The crew that works with Albracht were also easy to work with. Any time I had questions for them, they were great at explaining things to me. Again, I would highly recommend this company!

Steve Albracht and Perma-Siding and Window Co. are awesome! Steve came the next day after I called for an estimate. Steve is very professional, easy to talk to, listens really well on what I wanted, was very polite and is a great communicator. He explained all that would be done along with great information on the product including that the gutters would be much wider than our old gutters to help move water out faster. We did not want water draining on our driveway anymore and freezing there in the winter time or on a sidewalk by the house and he made great suggestions on how to solve this and locate the gutters so this would not happen. He quoted a great price. I was very impressed with Steve and his company and knew right away that this was the contractor I wanted. We set up the work days and the crew came exactly as planned early in the morning. Both the soffit/fascia and gutter crews were very hard workers with great craftsmanship! They came to talk to me with any questions and explained what they were doing really well. They also did a fantastic job cleaning up after finishing. Steve Albracht and the crews were awesome to work with and everything went so smoothly! Steve and his company showed exactly what a very professionally run and caring company should be! We have recommended them to our neighbors, friends and co-workers. We love the result, everything looks great and we are totally satisfied! Thank you Steve and Perma-Siding and Window Co.!

The crew doing the work appeared to be inexperienced and were often left unsupervised. The workmanship is poor. There are gaps showing between some pieces of siding where they are supposed to overlap. The drip channel that they bent on site is made of a very light material and is constantly getting bent. It looked cheap from the begining and now is starting to look very bad. One of the gutters they put on sags in the middle and does not drain properly.

Steve came and gave us as estimate. He was very professional and easy to work with. During the estimate, we found out Perma Siding had also installed our new windows. The windows had been installed only a few months before we purchased the house. It was a no-pressure meeting. He gave us an options for financing if we choose to go that route. It took us over a year to be ready to start the project. Our project was supposed to start mid December of 2013. However, the project didn't start until approx mid January. We would have like more communication regarding the project starting later then expected. However, I also understand there were delays from other projects with all the cold weather in Omaha during that month. Once the project started, it went smooth. Only 1 day was missing because of frigid temps. The crew worked very hard and did a great job. The final results looked great! The crew did a pretty good job or cleaning up giving the freezing conditions. Only a few nails or siding remnants were left behind. They did a nice job working with us to make sure things went as we wanted. We did have to remind them that we had wanted shutters to be installed. However, once we remind Steve, he came right over the next day and presented the color options and made sure those got installed. The final result was really nice! It looks great and now the exterior is essentially maintenance free. I would refer friends and family to use Perma Siding!

Tom came to measure and he is currently ordering twelve windows it takes about six to eight weeks . He is also installing self storing storm door. Tom has been really informative. He first showed us the frames and brought the installer to look at the job. The installer explained exactly what he would do and I agreed. Tom is polite, professional, and knowledgeable. He left us booklets and was very informative.It's been a positive experience and he is easy to work with.
