Description of Work: It was supposed to be a maintenence only and turned into a big fix, because once the pilot light was turned off, the person could not get it back on and so it has to be replaced. It was I am sure on its last leg, but still it was a bummer, since it was working before they came and not while doing the maintenence check.

Description of Work: I first hired AireServ for seasonal service (A/C, I think), and ended up signing up for a service contract. They've been back 2-3 more times since then for seasonal service, plus recently when I had a problem with my A/C. I've had 2 different technicians, and both have been knowledgeable an professional. If they're running late, the office calls and lets me know. When it's time for spring/fall maintenance, the office calls me to set up a time. I don't have to remember! Very different from the experience I had with another company (which is no longer in business). I'm glad to be an AireServ customer!

Description of Work: Paul did a maintenance service on my air conditioner that I purchased through an Angie's List Deal. He really seemed to know what he was doing and was thorough. The price I listed here is for the freon he added at my request after he showed me the recommended level compared to the current level. Paul was professional but friendly and he was great with the cats. I do have to say the office seemed a little disorganized. Multiple phone calls when one would do and emails crossing with telephone calls. I went ahead and purchased a service contract for a year for $159. It seemed like a good value considering the service I received today.

Description of Work: Inspect air conditioner. Found coolant 1 pound low. Company only sells coolant in three pound increments. We did not add coolant. Two capacitors were out of limits and we replaced them. Company has service plans they are trying to sell to bring down cost of individual items. Also everything costs a lot more if you want to think about any of it and have them come back. Tech referred to me as "wifey" which was unprofessional. Overall, the pricing schematic just seems so complicated that there's the impression that you are getting worked over a bit.

Description of Work: Our A/C was checked and serviced. Two parts needed replacement (starter capacitor was leaking, and something--can't remember what, now--was almost gone) and also upgraded the drainage hose.

Description of Work: The installation of my AC unit went well. The technicians arrived on time and promptly began the work. They were very professional and took care cleanup when the work was completed. Though the price was a little high I feel satisfied and will use this company again for any of my HVAC needs.

Description of Work: We purchased a whole house humidifier from Aire Serv using an Angie's List deal. They were very fast making the appointment and showed up right on time. Very professional and gave lots of information about use and maintenance of the the unit. Very happy overall.

Description of Work: They're very professional and know their trade. But I always felt like I was getting the upwell routine. Their pricing structure makes it so that you have to use them long term or you pay more.
