Description of Work: I called to see if this company could work on my fireplace, and the person who answered said she had never heard of the brand of fireplace I have (Heat-N-Glo). This is a large manufacturer of gas fireplaces. But she was not sure so she said "sorry" instead of asking someone if this could be fixed. Not very professional.

Description of Work: I used a "Big Deal" for my annual A/C checkup. Everything went as planned. The tech let me know about Aire Serv's contract, but it wasn't a pressure sale at all. I decided to sign up. Just today, I scheduled my fall furnace check-up. They even called me last week to schedule, but missed me.

Description of Work: They preformed a complete inspection of the Central Air Conditioning, including electrical, fittings, piping and included 5 #'s of freon. During the inspection an electrical part wasn't operating up to standard. This replacement part wasn't covered under the general inspection and was an additional charge for the part which I was aware it would be. The service tech was very professional and informative as I watched him preform the inspection. I will be using this provider with future heating and air conditioning needs.

Description of Work: air conditioner check up. They were on time, called ahead of coming, spent an hour going over the unit. Gave it a clean bill of health & only thing they recommended were to consider a surge protection for the unit. Service man was polite, used shoe covers in the house.

Description of Work: We originally signed up for an Angie's List special for a furnace check with a carbon monoxide detector but since have used Aire Serv for an AC check which was performed last week. We have been very pleased with the services of all employees and will continue to use them as needed for our heating and cooling system.

Description of Work: The office staff called to tell me about when the technicians would arrive. They arrived when expected. They inspected my 3 furnaces (yes, 3). They told me their age (all are 20-26 years old!), the uniquenesses of 2 of them (they're hot water heated rather than gas heated!), that the big furnace has 2 pipe joints that are leaking (he showed me) and one component that was failing. They recommended replacing the failing component and eventually replacing the piping with the leaks, unless I replace the furnace first. They were diligent, succinct, and friendly. The cost of service was what I expected and seemed reasonable. I'll use them again.
