The only negative is that I did not get a call the day before they came out like I was supposed to. As a result, my car (which wouldn't start because of the -0 temperatures) was in my driveway when they arrived. I am impressed by the fact that they were able to get their equipment between my car and the neighbors' house without any damage. It was a tight squeeze judging by the tracks in the snow and my passenger mirror being folded back.

Responded promptly to my call; gave me a clear written estimate; scheduled it promptly & took care of it as scheduled. Clean up was spotless. Billing was accurate & prompt.

Eden Tree Pro trimmed two trees in back yard. They were on time, reasonably priced and cleaned up nicely.

Corey (estimator) very nice and easy to talk with. John (trimmer) very good as well as he's here again cleaning up. Also, the office.

From the initial meeting for an estimate to the completion of the project, Eden Tree Pros did an outstanding job. They were prompt, professional, courteous and very conscientious. Their price was the best of several estimates. They are definitely pros!

I first contacted Eden Tree Pros in February through their online free estimate request. I did not get an response using that method. I called to request an estimate a few months later. It took about another month to get that estimate. After decided to go with Eden, I called to request service and was told that I would be contacted by their scheduler for an approximate date of service. Several weeks later I did receive a call stating that they would be at my house one of two days that week. After the service was completed, my neighbors and myself were impressed at how much better our houses and yard looked from just having the trees trimmed. The workers really cleaned up after themselves, my yard looked better after they left. Other then the contact issues I had, I would definitely have them provide tree service again.

I've been working with John of Eden Tree Pro's for 15-20 years. His company is the best. Responsive, knows what they are doing, and always clean up so well after they are finished.

First of all, I decided to get multiple estimates on the work to trim my tree. It is a very old, very large oak tree in my front yard which had large low hanging branches, branches approaching my roof, and tons of deadwood throughout. I wanted a service with a licensed arborist (I didn't want to go the Craigslist/unlicensed route), and knowing it could be pricey, I got about six estimates. The highest estimate I got was $1250. Wow. The others were between $600-$800. Ouch. Eden bid $450 -- not only that, their proposal involved trimming to a higher elevation and removing more deadwood than the others. Additionally, their Angie's list rating was great, AND they could get to the work in a couple of weeks, vs. some of the others that told me 6-8 weeks. Sold. So, the work was scheduled for a couple of weeks later, and they came and got started on an afternoon when my husband and I were at work. We got home at 5:30 and they were in full swing with 6 or 7 workers there. While one of the top tree services in Omaha had told me they wouldn't be able to get a lift in, due to the way the tree and yard were situated, Eden maneuvered one in. Additionally, there were a couple guys expertly climbing for the higher deadwood, and guys on the ground hauling branches and doing cleanup. They worked nonstop until it started to get dark, when the head guy rang the doorbell and told me they would have to come back to finish up, as there was more deadwood he wanted to get, etc. He was very professional and actually apologetic. Which there was no need for -- at this point I was starting to feel bad they were doing all this for $450! And the cleanup -- wow. In 20 minutes, these guys went crazy with their rakes and buckets and cleaned up every stick, every leaf, every acorn in sight. The yard looked better than it did before they got there. And true to their word, they came back two days later and finished the job (we weren't there, and with their awesome cleanup, I didn't even know they'd come back until the following day when I noticed how great the tree looked). I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Their estimate blew away their competitors, they are fair, professional, do incredible and thorough work, and their customer service by phone is great as well. I will never use another tree service.

I initially called Eden in mid August for a quote to trim the 30 foot tree. I was told Corey would be out when hes in the area. The company looks like its located in Gretna and I don't live too far and so I was thinking he'd come fairly quickly. It was about a week later when he showed up and I made a point of being home so I could talk to him about the work instead of him leaving a quote on my door. He was very nice and knowledgeable. He mentioned I had another tree infected by fungus and could either have it sprayed or removed. I thanked him for the quote and planned on using Eden because he was so knowledgeable. 2 days later, I called to schedule the work and informed them I wanted the fungal tree removed. I was informed Corey would need to come back for another estimate. When he didn't come within a week, I called the office and was given a date of when he'd come. When he didn't show up on that day, I called again and was informed there was a family emergency and they had pushed back the estimates several days. They said they had informed all customers who had appointments of this however I was never informed. They also said even if I did schedule the job to be done, they are booked out another 3 weeks! The receptionist was rather rude. Now the weather is getting cooler and I'm doubting I can get a replacement tree in the ground before frost. I have since called another company for a bid because I can't keep waiting. I have been waiting almost a month for a proper bid. I would not recommend due to lack of professionalism and they just didn't seem motivated to have my business.

They were punctual and very friendly. They gave us the best feedback and suggestions that they could and were completely honest with us. We are not using them right now due to costs, but I would use them in the future.

Initially contacted them on Aug 14th. Stated someone would come out to look at tit. Contacted them after week and they stated that they would have someone come in about 7-10 days to looks at it. On the 28th they came and left a written estimate on the door. Called them the next day and they stated that they the "scheduler" would contact us to it it on the books. After three days we called back and they stated one of the guys was injured so they didn't know how long the wait to do the work would be but again the "scheduler" would call. It is now September 14th a month from when we initially called and still haven't heard back from them to even schedule a date for the work to be done. Sounds like a typical case of a company that doesn't have good leadership or organization and doesn't care about taking care of the customer. Have two other companies now coming to look at the job.

I looked at several companies, and Eden Tree pros addressed each point in their bid. They did a great job taking the trees down, and within a week the stumps were ground and I had new sod. Everyone in the crew was friendly and available to answer my questions. They also did a great job communicating with my neighbors.

John Hovendick, the owner of Eden Tree Pros, guaranteed the three bushes in back on the top tier (two-tiered wall) would not come back and they have - not the bushes but the odd branches - all different lengths. in front they removed three healthy evergreens on the corner of my house, and did not even touch the bushes I needed removed. The did replace the three evergreen for free - late last Fall (2012) - but were unable to provide evergreens the same maturity as the ones they removed. The owner, John Hovendick, actually came out to talk with me about that. They also removed the front bushes and they have not come back. I made at least two calls this spring asking them to come back out and remove the bushes that were coming back, even asking them to provide suggestions and a bid on what I should replace them with. Weeks went by and I heard nothing. Then, I come home from work one evening and there's a bill in my door for spraying the trees and bushes - which I did not ask for! I called and talked to his office, ended up paying it and yet again asking them to come out. A few more weeks went by - then, another bill for spraying trees and bushes! Unbelievable. I called their office and told them I would not be paying the bill - if they thought I would, they were crazy! The woman on the phone asked if I still wanted them to come out! I sent John Hovendick an e-mail expressing more than disappointment. His response - "I'm sorry we fell short." Not - let me come make this right, not, I'll be out as soon as possible . . .. Communication between the office, the arborist, the workers . . . left a lot to be desired. I still cannot believe they removed the wrong bushes. I am sitting here today and still have the odd branches -- taller than me now - and no replacements for anything. Angie, I could not be more disappointed - shocked really. Eden Tree Pros provided an estimate to remove a huge cottonwood main limb that broke off during a straight-wind storm reaching 70 mph. The limb fell down and straddled my backyard privacy fence. Their bid was very competitive and they also provided a 5% discount to Angie's List members. The owner himself came to provide the estimate. With the numerous customers needing tree service and the fact that we were leaving on a vacation, they provided the service quickly and professionally. A three person crew arrived at the time that they stated, with two trucks, one bucket truck with a chipper trailer and a flat-bed to haul the larger limb pieces. All safety equipment was used and the crew foreman provided briefings and safety tips to the helpers. Within three hours, they had all damaged limbs and branches removed. The crew did an excellent job of cleaning up the area prior to leaving. I highly recommend Eden Tree Pros for tree trimming and removal services. I'll definitely call them again.

Everything went well. It took them a few weeks to get to the job, due to their workload with all the recent storms. They were very careful to ask us what we wanted removed or kept. Very professional and really did leave our place looking like they were never here.

Prompt, safety conscious, great clean-up and very reasonably priced too. I am now a repeat customer.

They told us they would come on Friday morning and they were here by about 9:00am. They made quick work of bringing down a very large White Pine tree that had disease and finally needed to go. They cut it right to the ground and cleaned up after themselves beautifully. No complaints, just kudos. We also have them treating some other trees and are very happy with their service.

I was very pleased with this company from the start. My initial phone contact Robyn was great. John came and walked me through the quote. The two men that did the work were very professional, efficient and nice. Great work!

Got estimate, agreed to estimate, job done on schedule, but was incomplete Eden Trees sent crew to complete. Would use again.

Everyone is fantastic, from the office personnel to everyone on the job. I just love them all!! I wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

I had requested that they come on wed April 10 or wed April 17. They called there the next day. It was after business hour when i got home from work & head the message. I called from work at 8 AM Tuesday morning & were told they were already at the job site. I would have preferred to have been present which is why i specified Wed 4-10 or Wed 4-17.

We were very impressed. Just one call and they came out to advise us on trimming very tall bushes that had grown to 15 ft. before we purchased the property. Although the privacy was nice, the neighbor on one side of the chain link fence wanted to put in wood privacy fencing, so he asked us to trim them down to 5 ft. We consulted Eden Tree Pros after a recommendation from a friend, they came out within 24 hours, and explained our options. They explained that because the bushes had gotten so big, trimming them to 5 ft. would basically leave woody stumps that would be impossible to keep trimmed and looking nice. We discussed the cost to shorten them, he quoted us per fence line, but then told us about the recycling facility at Gretna - if we cut them ourselves, they would chip and haul them for $100, or we could haul them to Gretna ourselves and dispose of them for free. Quite impressed that they would inform us of all the options and price possibilities. In the end, we decided to do it ourselves (free is always good!) and chose to cut them down to 2-4 inches from the ground. Just as advised, they grew back 3 ft. in the spring and another foot in the fall (each year). So it will only be a few years to have a nice trimmed hedge. Because they were so knowledgeable and helpful, we asked them to trim the HUGE tree in the front yard as it was starting to hang over the roof. They came right out, trimmed it "from both the interior and exterior" and cleaned up nicely. It was well worth the $350. These people really know their stuff!! And our neighbor was happy to put in the new fence without fighting overgrown bushes.
