The installers were excellent. Orville, Haywood, Ken, Shannon and Gerry. The salesman needs some training. Because of his lack of knowledge, I had a toilet removed and lost a shower. My dryer vent was demolished and now needs to be replaced. Itâ  s a very uncomfortable conversation when youâ  re expecting one thing to happen and youâ  re told it canâ  t. I will say that the installerâ  s way was the correct way. I will not recommend this company to anyone but it is not because of the installation. It is solely because of the salesmanâ  s lack of knowledge.

Great company to work with. The crew that did my crawl space encapsulation, namely Royall and the other guys, Denver and Gavin, were very professional, timely and proficient at the service they provided. I have used this company in the past for another job and I am particularly pleased and impressed with the attitudes and demeanor of all I have encountered starting with David my project contractor and ending with Devontae, the area supervisor, who is an outstanding person and representative of Tar Heel Basement Systems. All of the workers and job performances have been stellar which is a direct reflection of the company they work for. Thanks Tar Heel Basement for a job well done and I will be looking forward to working with you guys on the next project coming up soon ( thatâ  s right I will be a three-peat customer! ).

System installed last summer; been a huge improvement in air quality, humidity and temperature control, not to mention a reduction in shims under everything! The initial crew did an amazing and difficult job; super efficient, neat, polite and respectful, as well as doing great work in an inhospitable space. Just had our first year inspection with Bobby Wright and everything still looks great! A few cranks on the jack and the floor is level again. It's clear that customer service is of the utmost importance to this company and I really appreciate the professionalism in each and every individual we have worked with.

I just wanted to pass along how much I appreciated Tarheel Basement Systems for coming out and repairing the floor joists under my house. It definitely wasnâ t an easy job and it had more than its fair share of challenges, but I had a great group of guys that did a great job. I appreciate all of the hard work that JR, Jacob, and Tyler put in to repairing under my house, they were great!! And I really appreciated how sweet and helpful Mary was when I spoke with her. Service tech Adam Canter did a check on our three year old Tar Heel crawl space encapsulation and found that the sump pump had stopped working. He quickly replaced the pump no charge. Adam was very knowledgeable and suggested there maybe excess humidity in our attic due to our dark metal roof. That Adam went out of his way to explain how this might be a problem was impressive. We have found Tar Heel to be a great company to work with due to their employees, quality of work, and the way they stand behind their repairs.

Omar, Zack Yon, and Daniel Jones did a fantastic job on my crawl space repair. They were punctual, communicative, and thorough in their work. Daniel made sure to walk me through everything, show me things to be aware of in the new system. They all did amazing work and I am so pleased. Tar Heel did an excellent job from the inspection and quote to the finished work and labor. The work was completed to the highest standard. I cannot recommend their services and expertise enough.

Great experience from the honest sakes rep, to keeping their install date which was 2 months out because they are slammed busy. John Boy, RJ, and Elijah did the work on our crawl space. Most polite and helpful work crew I've ever had at my house. Would definitely recommend over the competitor I got a quote from tok.

The salesman, Seth Brown, took his time explaining everything to us. Continually answered the many questions we had - some questions multiple times. He walked us through everything that would be done. He showed us multiple options which could work and how we could do the work in stages. He helped us prioritize what should be done first, second and so on. When it came to financing - letâ s face it - these repairs are not inexpensive - he helped us with the ins and outs of the financing getting us the best deal possible. The warranty offered transferred to the new owners when we eventually sold our home. I would use Tarheel Basement again without any hesitation. A good quality company with integrity - something thatâ s hard to find in todayâ s environment.

We had a great experience with this company. The representative was very good and professional. Our technicians Daniel Jones, Zachion, Ryan W, and Mike were great. They were very good and did a wonderful job. I would recommend them.

Goliath Wendell and Daniel Carter were very open and honest regarding the potential issues of trying to refloat the slab to level it out. They pointed out the problem could actually get worse and there probably was not any void areas under the concrete to fill with polymer. They also pointed out the existing cracks would likely widen and openup an elevation gap between two slabs. I really appreciate their advice

Mike Cody was prompt and efficient, courteous and friendly. Inspection was done well. We are very happy to have encapsulated our crawl space!

Phil and Goliath are courteous and professional. They did a good job in installing jacks and beam in crawlspace for floor support. I liked the way they took detailed pictures (for example showing on a tape ruler of the hole they digged for the jack) for their work.
