Not well.

In trying to solve a persistent problem with leaking skylights, I called Richard Manus and asked him to take a look. We scheduled a time to meet and he arrived as scheduled. We looked at the skylights and after studying them for a few minutes Richard showed me what the problem was and carefully explained his proposed solution which made good sense to me. He promised an estimate by email within a day or two and it arrived as promised. I accepted the proposal and scheduled the work for a few days later. Richard and his helper arrived exactly when promised, completed the work he had described to me and also fixed a couple of other problems that were discovered during the repair process. When finished they thoroughly cleaned the work area. Richard could not have been more pleasant to work with. He did somewhat more work than was planned and quoted in order to do the job the way he felt it should be done and did so without additional charge. Altogether I could not have asked for a better experience and I highly recommend Richard Manus Roofing.

After two heavy rainfalls on two consecutive nights we discovered a ceiling leak. I spent two days calling two different roofers but was not able to get either to come out and look at our problem. They were both clearly too busy to follow up on new business. My third call was to Richard Manus, whose response was refreshingly different. He too was busy with other work, but he still agreed to come out the same day and assess our problem. He showed up promptly and wrote us an estimate on the spot. The next morning he and a helper came out and took care of the repairs quickly and efficiently and for a reasonable price. He was thorough, professional, and very pleasant to deal with. In the process of completing the repairs, he came across a couple of other minor problems and took care of those without adding anything to his estimate. We were delighted with the job Mr. Manus did for us, especially since the work was done on a Friday leading into a holiday weekend. After being put off by a couple of other roofers, we were more or less resigned to the idea that we would not be able to get the work done until after the holiday. Thanks to Mr. Manus's conscientiousness, we were able to enjoy the holiday weekend without worrying about rain staining our ceiling. We will certainly recommend him to friends and family.

Called him in the morning before lunch. He came by in the late afternoon the same day. He was very flexible far as scheduling an appointment and he also showed up on time. He gave me an estimate and repaired everything when he came. He was very polite and thorough. Also on his invoice he detailed out everything he did. All workmanship was guaranteed.
