Richard Manus will always be my first option for roof repair or installing a new roof. He came out the same day to not only examine the problem but to fix the problem with my daughter's roof. He installed our own roof 20 years ago and we never had a problem.

Very responsive and answered all my emails and questions promptly before we decided on the job. Mr. Manus came to the house twice to provide an estimate and then recheck on some questions. Gave a detailed estimate, provided some comparison homes to look at, then provided prompt and professional service. We decided the roof was in good enough shape to roof-over, but Mr.Manus also replaced flashing on all pipes, and chimney, replaced skylight and attic fan, and his team did a great clean-up job. I would definitely hire him again, and recommend him to others. Very pleased with the result.

Everything went well, he did a good job. He did the whole roof and replaced the gutters.

Mr. Manus was extremely responsive and the crew literally came out the next day to do the repairs. I was extremely impressed with the quality of their work.

Richard came the same day I called and did a great job. He took before/after pictures and explained what was wrong very well. My house is 2 story and the roof is very high up so it wasn't an easy job.

They arrived approximately 30 minutes before their quoted time. Fully explained the process including laying out a color selection for me to choose and got right to work. It was a cold day but they worked all day with no interruptions. I was assured that they would do an excellent clean up and they did, including using magnets to pick up any stray nails from the yard and sidewalk. Richard stayed about an hour longer than the rest of the workers to install the final two shingles. He presented me with the warranty information before he left around 5:00. Overall, I am totally pleased with this company and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Everything went perfectly, Richard came out when he said he would, and did the job. Although it was small, the potential water damage that could have occurred was large. And the end result looks great. Thanks.

They were quick to show up to provide a quote. Even showed up ready to do the work. Unfortunately my roof was too high for their ladder so they scheduled for another day. They showed up on the morning scheduled and went straight to work. The material was a perfect match for my roof and the job went smoothly. they cleaned up after themselves and I was happy to write them a check!

It was fine and I was happy with what they did. They sent 1-2 people out to do the job. They got the job done in a couple of hours. The scheduling was fine and I had no problems.

Richard was outstanding. Richard has been punctual, personable, knowledgeable, professional, reachable, and receptive to our needs. My wife and I have a house under contract, and roof concerns came up during inspection. Richard came out within 24hrs of calling, climbed the roof like a cat, and was able to calculate the cost of material and labor on the spot. He then provided a detailed roof inspection report and pictures via email for our negotiating purposes. I felt he was giving his honest assessment of roof and not just trying to sell a new roof. He sent his report within 12 hours of coming out to the house, and continued to answer questions via cell phone as they have come up. His estimate was very reasonable as well. If we negotiate a new roof with the seller, we will be using Richard Manus for the work. I've already recommended him to a neighbor. Call him, you won't be disappointed.

I was disappointed that I did not have two estimates on the same day. Both Angie's List and the employees should know what services are performed by this company.

They replaced several shingles that had come loose due to wind and ice on a detached building. Richard Manus came out for the initial evaluation/estimate and was present when the work was performed. He arrived early for both appointments and was always extremely polite. He was a pleasure to do business with and other contractors could learn a lot from him about customer service. I would highly recommend him for roofing work.

Explained the problem and did a short term repair. Gave 2 options of a 3 to 4 year repair since overall roof had 5 to 6 years of life left. Gave a quote for replacing the shingles on full roof. We did the quick repair and will have him come back out for the smaller 3 to 4 year repair when weather turns warmer. Would recommend.

Saw deal on Angie's list for roof inspection and repair. I had noticed a water spot on my ceiling near my fireplace. He added flashing, sealed vents and other areas. He was very professional, prompt and took before and after pics to show his work.

If you need work done on a rubber roof, Richard is the guy to use!! Extremely high quality work and attention to detail.

Richard was easy to get a hold off and responded to my call very quickly to come provide a quote and inspect our roof. We needed a ridge vent and eve vents added to our garage and he was quickly able to provide a quote. While quoting this project, we also had him do a quick walk through of current roof and assess any damage. He noted a few minor repairs (nail pops, etc) that needed repair and was able to add that to our garage job with minimal additional cost. We agreed to the quote on Friday night and his crew arrived Monday. Richard was very professional and most importantly HONEST! He didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need. We will definitely call him next time we need roof work.

WOW....I wish every contractor had Richard's honesty, responsiveness, humility, personal responsibility.... I requested 3 estimates from roofers, all of which have stellar reputations with neighbors. Richard was first to respond with an estimate, and was always prompt with return calls throughout the project. This never changed. Richard was onsite working with his crew. They did the entire 2500 sq foot roof in 2 days including significant rotting repair and an improvement to our gutter system. While removing the remove, his guys knocked a big chunk of stucco off our chimney. I had noticed the big crack that had been worsening there for years...it was just a matter of time. Without asking, Richard called a subcontractor to come repair it at his own cost. I didn't let him pay for it, because i knew it was already vulnerable. But I was amazed that Richard was willing to take full responsibility for everything. The crew did a GREAT job of cleaning up after their work. Throughout the process, Richard took photos of their work. He showed us of rot where roofing had to be replaced. There were no surprises. He also got to the root cause of some long term problems that were all associated with how the original roof had been put in place (really lousy or nonexistent flashing work!!!) This was a STELLAR experience

repair damaged roof sheathing in three different areas. Install felt over sheathing, put on new roof by hand nailing. Used 25yr. AR shingles. Came out to look at building at the appt. time and set a date to replace the roof. Was here on time and finished up the same day. Cleaned up everything and left no mess behind. Did a great job.

We purchased the big deal from Angie's List and it turned out very well. He came promptly and explained the problem. He fixed it for a very reasonable price that day. He did a very good job. The price was very modest. We were worried about the gutters because it seemed to be leaking so he fixed that part of the roof and stopped that problem. The problem seems to be taken care and there are no longer those huge amounts of water coming down whenever it rains. I'm so glad I got it repaired. I thought the price was very reasonable. The result seemed to be excellent and he was very prompt. He explained the problem and explained what he was going to do very clearly. He didn't try to sell me on something that I didn't need which was something I liked.

This was a very pleasant experience from the start to the finish. I called Mr. Manus on 021413 at 1:44 p.m. and he returned my call in 45 minutes. Needless to say, I did not expect him to return the call so quickly. I set up a time for Monday, 021813 at 2:00 p.m. He said that would be fine. But I had to call him today and asked if he could come earlier and I was so happy that he was able to accommodate my change in schedule. Anyway he came and I showed him the leaking ceiling in the bonus room. And he told me he should be able to check that area and it would probably be simple to fix. He also proceed to tell me that he would inspect the entire roof and that anything minor that needs to be done like rusted nails sticking out, or the fitting around vents would be replaced at no extra charge. He also stated he would take pictures so I would be able to see the problem areas. After completing the inspection, he came inside and explained to both me and my sister the condition of the roof and what he had to do. Apparently the roofers were in a hurry and used the air gun, but had they used it properly, he said we would not have had a leaking ceiling. He asked if we had any questions. It was a refreshing experience to deal with someone so easy to work with.

Had previously had a contractor to fix leak in September. Thought all was well until a severe rain storm in January. Left 4 messages for original contractor but no return call to me. Decided to join Angies List and was able to make an appointment with Manus Roofing to come out 2 days later. They were very efficient and thorough. Customer service was great and I would use Manus Roofing again and recommend to others.
