Description of Work: Needed the furnace serviced in a rental property, and Quality Oil has always looked after it. The service man does an excellent job, keeps the furnace running efficiently, with no problems. Has done this for about 40 years! Good people!

 + 0 moreQuality could have come out and charged me the $99 for a service call that would take them about 5 minutes to fix. Instead, they carefully gave me instructions on how to fix the problem myself, and save a lot of money. You don't often find this kind of honesty and integrity from a company. I will certainly call them if there is an issue that I can not take care of myself. They will be first on my list.
Description of Work: I called Quality Heating and A/C because our gas fireplace would not stay lit. The man to whom I spoke on the phone said he was pretty sure he knew what my problem was and that I could probably fix it myself and save the $99 service call. I took his advice, and sure enough, the fireplace is working perfectly now, and it only cost me $5 for a can of compressed air to clean the pilot line. I was also warned about things to be careful of as I did this, warnings which I heeded and appreciated.

 + 0 moreI called around to compare prices and selected Quality Oil based on their pricing and feedback from friends/family who are already customers. Their employees always arrived on time and were polite and professional. The work they did was good and in the end I think I paid about 10% less than the original estimate. I already had the gas logs and they had been partially installed by someone else a few years before. I called Quality Oil to assess the prior work and then finish the job.

Description of Work: Quality Oil responded to a request for a quote for a set of unvented gas logs for our newly acquired condo. They came out and looked at the fireplace, took measurements, and checked the gas lines for leaks in preparation for the installation. We then went to their showroom where they demonstrated several models of gas logs and we made our selection. They scheduled the installation and arrived on time, completed the installation, showed us how to operate the controls, cleaned up, and left. They removed the old unit as well.

At that time, he tried to convince me that my a/c was going to need to be replaced, but it kept working, and Reedy's cleaned it up and has it running well. They've also tried to tell me the firebox on the furnace was going to need to replacing, I thought differently, so I haven't called them since.

He was very clean, my furnace is filthy and he was very respectful toward my house. The price was what I expected and he even had to replace some parts. He even told me what to look for if certain things went wrong with my furnace, he was very helpful.
