Description of Work: We've used PF Plumbing for several jobs, from waterproofing our foundation, to replacing our water heater, to installing faucets. A little pricy, but the work is always first-rate and done correctly the first time. The crew members are very professional, polite, and knowledgable.

Description of Work: Had a plugged half bath toilet on the main floor. Although we were originally scheduled for service on a Monday, we received a call to say that they were being considerably delayed that day and rescheduled us for the morning of the next day. They arrived and promptly diagnosed our issue and remedied the plus. We were very pleased by the personnel and their service. We would use them again.

Description of Work: The 59-year old sanitary sewer line from the house to the city sewer connection was replaced. There were 4 trees in the straight-line path. PF Plumbing was able to go around the trees (quote to cut down the trees was $2500) and at approximately half the price of the competitor quote. The work was completed within a week of site assessment, even though a power company subcontractor moved a transformer from one pole to the other within 20 feet of the city connection while the plumber was there.

They were referred to us by a couple different contractors, architects, and also their grade was good here on Angie's List. We had noticed some water spots on the ceiling between the first and second floor of the house. We initially called one plumber and they said that the problem was from one of the bathrooms' tub upstairs. He replaced the drain that he though was leaking and over the weeks after we noticed that the water stains were continuing to get larger. So we called PF Plumbing. They were supposed to come late in the day on Friday, but then they called and said they can come sooner, we said great and accepted. When they arrived they looked at the spots and looked upstairs and said they needed to cut away at the sheetrock. Initially he wore some bags over his shoes to not make a mess while walking around the house. Then when he told us what he thought needed to be done, we asked him some more questions about the cost and the procedure, and the more we asked so that we could better understand the more frustrated he became with us. Finally we said fine, do the work. He went out to his truck and came back with his ladder and saw and began to cut. But this time he had no covers on his shoes and he did not cover or ask us to move the area rug that was on the ground. When he cut open the ceiling water and junk fell out of the ceiling all over the rug, damaging it. We had to ask him several times to stop so that we can move the area rug and bring towels and buckets to put under him. As a "professional" he should have taken the preventive measures and had these things under his ladder just in case there was going to be water pouring out. He cut away and said that the leak was from the Jacuzzi upstairs in the master bathroom. We told him that it had not been used in 5+ years and this water leaking is too new to be from the Jacuzzi. We asked him if he was certain, and he kept insisting that it was, then we said do you not want to check the other leak spots to make sure it is not from somewhere else, he kept saying no and insisting that it is from this particular pipe/drain. We still did not understand why he thought it was only this pipe when the damage was all over the ceiling in different spots down the hallway. He did the drain replacement and got his money and he cleaned up with our help in clean up and he left. He said to leave the hole open so that the sheetrock and wood beams can dry off and he said that there will be some dripping from the wet sheetrock and wood beams and eventually it would stop. However, the leaking and dripping is coming still and it is coming every time we turn on the faucets and showers on upstairs, and not from the Jacuzzi. Obviously the problem is not fixed and we will contact them to either correct it or for a refund. The longer the employee stayed and the more questions we asked so that we could better understand the situation and the problem the more he was getting frustrated. His behavior showed that we were keeping him from something else that he thought was more important to him. It is a shame that we had such a bad experience, because others that have rated them have given them great reviews.
Description of Work: They came to the house and gave an initial diagnosis of the problem. Then they said for a better diagnosis, they must cut away at the sheetrock to have a better look. They cut away and chose a pipe and said that is where the leak is at. Then they replaced some parts and left.

They are wonderful. They did maintenance, plumbing and the installation work. They did a repair to a tankless water heater. They did repair work, new installations and major replacement work too. We had an office space that we turned into an apartment, so we had to replace all of the plumbing. We had to put in the shower, move things around, and make it into a residential bathroom. They installed three hose bibbs around the house and the garage. Then there was one repair that they did; there was a leakage from upstairs that came through the ceiling downstairs, and the water leaked throughout the house. The house was under warranty and 3 plumbers came with the warranty companies, and none of the three could solve the problem. Then, I called PF Plumbing and they fixed it immediately. They didn't think about what was wrong, but they just said it was the shower panel. They know what their doing. Overall, I rate them highly. They are wonderful. All the people there are very nice. I can leave the door open for these people and go out. The price is very reasonable. They do flat rate pricing where, if they are coming in to do a job, they tell you immediately how much it's going to cost, and it's not on an hourly basis. With regards to punctuality, if they are going to come over, they will give us a call. They also stand by their work. I can give an instance where they did some work and for one reason or another, there was a problem, and I brought this up with them and they agreed to come and fix it and that is exactly what they did, without haggling. I would use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I used PF Plumbing for plumbing, to renovate the kitchen, to build a bathroom, and to put up a patio a week ago.

The estimator was very professional and knowledgeable. The two plumbers were also very professional but they had not been fully briefed on the job and did not have all of the hardware needed. They said they were rough-in plumbers and did not normally carry the finished valves needed for under the sink. A second visit was necessary to finish the job. Also the plumbers assured us that the tub did not need any bedding or insulation from the subfloor and in their experience would not squeak. The tub does squeak.
Description of Work: Performed rough-in plumbing and installed a new bathtub and wall surround for a bathroom remodel project.

They were very rude every time that this company came to my home. I would never use this company again nor would I recommend them to anyone. They never fixed my yard after tearing it up to find the problem either. All of the workers were disrespectful and ignorant to my children. I really had a terrible time dealing with this company. The work was covered under a warranty so I did not have to pay anything.
Description of Work: This company came to my home and fixed the main sewer line which was affected due to improper sealing of the pipes in the initial installation. Our home is about 2500 square feet. We found out this was the problem after days of the company insisting that my children had stuffed toys down the drain, causing the problem. This company also did the installation when my home was first built. Every time that the toilet was flushed water would leak out of the kitchen sink as well as the laundry room sink. This had to be properly sealed.
