PF Plumbing

I called PF to install an undersink water filter. I told them they'd need to drill a hole in my countertop to do that. They said that wasn't a problem, and we scheduled a service call. They missed their first service appointment, and showed up at the second appointment and told me "you need to call a countertop guy, we don't drill countertops." I overheard dispatch tell the plumber to charge me a service fee anyway, so he checked a couple of things and tried to upsell me. He offered me a new water heater he "happened to have on the truck anyway" and two significantly more expensive water filters that they sell and offer warranties for. His charge for a water filter installation AFTER the countertop drilling, which is all sharkbite connections, would have been $1100. Somebody is going to get the business to replace that water heater and install that water filter. It's not going to be PF though.

Work was done in 1.5 hours. I was charged $875 for work that could have been done for $200 tops.

Paid $310 to clean/open the sewer line. The line was still clogged. Wanted an additional $484 to jet the line open. I declined and hired another company to clean/open the line for $290. Line was cleaned and functional.

PF supplied two estimates: 1) repair existing faucet (~ $200), 2) replace with new faucet (about twice as much). I signed agreement to pay for repair. PF attempted to repair, and damaged the water pipe. As this meant more work to repair, in addition to a new faucet the cost was now almost $1000. I had no choice but to pay, as the water supply for the house had to be turned off. PF said they gave me a deal, as the only fixture they had in the truck that would work was a high quality fixture which they discounted. Photo is the original shower fixture. PF should have brought up this possibility, along with a cost estimate prior to any work being done. I would expect them, as experienced plumbers, to understand this possibility. Instead, they left me feeling I was played as a sucker.

Awful. Scheduled the appointment for "1 to 4 on Friday." The company called at 2:30 and said they couldn't make it and would have to reschedule. I asked if they could come anyway and was told that they would charge more for coming later that day. Instead, they said they would have to make a new appointment, but that it wouldn't be guaranteed either. They would come if the could, but if they couldn't they'd just cancel again.

They were really nice to me, which meant a lot.

The technician arrived with all the necessary equiptment, cleared the line and obtained video footage of the problem. The following week, a second technician arrived to determine the cause of the initial blockage so that the problem would not reoccur. He discovered that our clean out line (at the edge of the city sewer line) was never placed. He mapped it out for us at no cost and suggested we call the city to repair the line. They did, no extra cost. That technician saved us thousands of dolars with his suggestion. We will call them again for any plumbing needs.

Very well. They completed excellent work.

I found the guys to be courteous, knowledgeable, caring and quite fun to talk with. Service was expensive, but there was a lot that had to be done and I felt like their work was totally worth the money. Would recommend. Be aware that plumbing work often necessitates cutting into drywall and that plumbers are not responsible for fixing those cut-outs. That said, the guys did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. Especially with respect to the clogged drainage pipe in the garage. I got the sense that it looked pretty bad in the middle of the process but I couldn't tell by the time I arrived home.

From first contact, PF Plumbing was willing to help me out of a bind. They worked with my scheduled and were very responsive. Price was right in line with other quotes.

The plumber came out on time and his supervisor stopped by a few minutes later. They looked at the sink and said it would take 8 hours to install and would cost $500. We told them no thanks. $500 is far to much just to install a simple stainless steel kitchen sink. We installed the sink ourselves in three hours with no problem.

They responded in 3 days. It was one of those things, you call them on a Friday and Monday's are tough on a business because they have a lot of calls that are emergency type calls that they try to handle. And my particular situation, I was able to turn off the water and it wasn't the only toilet in the home so you could make do. They were able to come out and fix two specific problems that we had and everything worked out well.

They arrived promptly, resolved the issue, and were very professional.

Arrived on time, Was able to free stuck water supply connection. Connected a water supply for new washer. Had to wait over the weekend (no weekend appointments except emergencies). Would use again.... Note... Workers from store where I bought washer were afraid to apply force. I too was afraid of harming plumbing.

The experience was super. From the people who put my water heater in to all, they were all super.

Could not have been more pleased. Totally satisfied. On time, professional in appearance, courteous, patient with questions. A bit more expensive, but what is the cost of peace of mind that the work is done the right the first time? Will definitely use PF Plumbing in the future.

Went well but had some difficulty passing the inspection. They did come back and made the necessary adjustments.

It went well - they showed up on time, complete the work efficiently and guarantee their work. A bit pricey but 2 years later their work has held up well. I would consider using again.

They were really good. I think I chose them because I saw them on Angie's List. He was very thorough in checking everything out. He actually found some things that could have been a bigger problem later.

Men showed up, examined the drains. Five minutes later, they went to the truck to write up the estimate. I had to prompt them for information on what the problem was. The gave two very expensive quotes, one including a biodegradable drain cleaner. They did not mention how the work would be done Due to frustration with problems finding time to have work completed (multiple reschedulings on both sides) and duration of slow drains in my home, I allowed the work to be completed. I was shocked when it was done less than 20 minutes later. The up side- the drains are currently working efficiently. The down side, paid over $300 dollars for less than 30 minutes worth of work. The men were not corteous, just came to do their job. Gave me a $10 coupone which is a joke as I will not be using this. My friend recommend them, but had never used their services. I would not recommend them.

Our service provider was prompt and professional.

They came out right away and identified the problem as cheap connectors and replaced all of them.

They were available immediately, ordered the part and came and replaced it promptly. Friendly, courteous and great service.

The serviceman who came out was very professional, however, I felt the estimated price I was quoted was a little too high. My other concern was they advised I needed to hire someone else to remove the wall before they would complete the job.

I would give them a strong A across the board. They are as good as they come in this area. I would recommend them to anyone and plan on using them in the future.
