I called to request information and schedule a service call a pest inspection. The phone was promptly answered, by a lady who did not provide her name. She asked a few necessary questions about the location, pest type, etc. She cut me off at one point during the Q&A. After gathering all my information, she said someone would be giving me a call to schedule service and was ready to hang up. I then asked, when I would get that call back; would it be today?... tomorrow?, etc. She said "it would probably be today." I never did get the representative's name even though she got all of my information. I needed to commit to an appointment today, not maybe today, so I called another A rated Angie's list company. The other company was prompt, courteous, friendly, cheerful, and most of all, confirmed an appointment for me today at the time I wanted. McNeely may be a great company, but the new customer experience on the phone was just OK, not bad, just OK, so I went somewhere else. UPDATE Two days later, phone call never returned. We were having a major issue at our house with large Bees buzzing around our carport and fences. Every time my husband and I tried to get into our car these bees would "posture" and buzz around our heads. We were both very concerned we were going to get swarmed. We also had a few wasps nests on the front porch. I called McNeely and asked some one to come out and take a look at the bees and give us an estimate on how much it would cost to get rid of them. There was someone at our house that same day. The man looked at the bees and told us that they are carpenter bees, do not even have stingers, are completely harmless and great for the environment (pollination and all). He stated that he would treat them if we wanted but that it was not necessary. As far as the wasps on the front porch, he noticed that there was a birds nest in one of the corner posts and stated that if he sprayed the chemicals could harm the baby birds. He advised us to wait until the birds left the nest then he would come out and treat the wasps. I really appreciated that he cared so much for the environment and wasn't going to charge us to treat unnecessarily! He also advised that he had treated our house in the past for spiders (we had opnly bought the house a few months prior) and that he would be happy to come back and treat the spiders when the time came. Sure enough we had spiders galor come summer and who do you think we called? Correct! We also love supporting local business over major nationwide corporations.

Excellent experience. Helpful and efficient office staff. Terry arrived as expected, worked carefully and thoroughly to exterminate the hornets inside the soffit. Was gentle while carrying equipment through my home and cleaned up after himself. Explained what he was doing and what would happen as other hornets hatched. Gave me his cell phone number to call if I had questions or if he needed to return. I did call with a question. He had done a good job and no return visit was necessary. Would definitely call again.

Called to get an idea of service price for general pest control and was happy to get a pleasant response giving the price based on our estimated square footage. Received a call back, as requested, from one of the service techs to set up an appointment right away. He showed up right on time (they had a 1 hour window sceduled and he was there at the beginning of that time) and listened to a few comments I had on some insect sightings. He explained what he would do and then set about doing it. He went over the entire house and thoroughly treated it for insect control. He was very professional and friendly. I plan to use this compsny for my future pest control.

Called them again the other day for a "roach sighting" and they were out here in a flash and I haven't seen one since!

Two weeks after moving into our 70-year-old home, we discovered we had a minor cockroach problem in our guest bedroom and bathroom. A gentleman from McNeely came and sprayed both rooms, as well as the basement and the perimeter of the house. He was very pleasant and personable, and he didn't mind me following him around to ask questions about the pesticides he was using as well as general pest prevention. He explained that any roaches found in the house from that point on should be either dead or dying, but assured me that he would come visit at a moment's notice if I felt that his work didn't do the trick. A week and a half later, I started discovering roaches in other rooms of the house and was concerned with the fact that not only were they plentiful, but they were lively. I called McNeely on a Friday afternoon to see what I should do, and within an hour of my phone call they had dispatched two gentlemen to my house: the original exterminator, who walked through the house with me and sprayed all of the interior perimeters, as well as another man who arrived with a "heavier duty" pesticide to spray the brush and perimeters outside the house. Their politeness and efficiency was much appreciated, especially for a last-minute call late on a Friday afternoon. That evening, the roaches seemed to literally come crawling out of the woodwork, presumably because they were disrupted by the newly sprayed pesticides; however, since that initial evening, we haven't found a single roach -- dead or otherwise -- inside the house. While I am hesitant to presume that my cockroach problem is solved, I am very pleased with the services I have received from McNeely, and it is reassuring to know that I can feel comfortable calling them if I need help in between my quarterly visits. I look forward to having them back in the future.

McNeely Pest and Wildlife Solutions was great! They were able to shift their schedule around to accommodate our last-minute need for a termite inspection. David arrived on time and did a very thorough inspection of the entire house (inside and out) looking for evidence of insects. Each time he found something, he showed us and explained what it meant. David did a great job and was very courteous and professional. I will definately be calling McNeely Pest and Wildlife Solutions again!
