Description of Work: I used another company, Stark, for years, and they changed management. A new person told me we had termite damage and kept insisting he needed to come inside my house to check for more damage. I was uncomfortable with the guy and terminated my contract with the pest control service. I recently called McNeely because they have good reviews, and they sent someone to check for termites. He said he saw some old termite damage but no new damage. (The house was treated for termites long ago, before we bought it 14 years ago.) He walked around with me and pointed out wood rot but no termites. I appreciated the fact that he did not talk me into an expensive termite contract, because he could have. He said if I ever see any bugs just to pick them up with masking tape to show him so he can identify them and know how to treat them. This is the kind of service I want and expect from a pest control company.

Description of Work: Checked crawl space for animal entry, inspected and tightened all vents. Checked the interior wall were noises were emanating from and concluded that it was a mouse/mice problem. Explained procedure in detail and were very reassuring, extremely pleasant and efficient. Placed the necessary bait around perimeter wall.

+ -1 moreTechnicians used an electronic reader to monitor termite activity sensors buried in the ground around the house. They visually inspect and replace any sensors that malfunction, and that is usually one or two each visit. They leave a written report after each visit. I had to follow-up on one occasion when the technician did not describe completely his findings for that visit.

+ -1 moreVery professional. Very responsive. I am looking forward to the relationship with these guys ongoing and we are off to a good start. They are a little more than some other outfits, but you get what you pay for and they seem to be high quality.
Description of Work: McNeely came out to do a first treatment of a newly purchased home. The house had been vacant for many months and there was evidence of mice. The Inspector (Mike) came out and assessed the situation. Took the time to listen to me and answer questions as well as give his advice and opinions. He then spent several hours going through the house top to bottom to address all my concerns. The initial service/fist visit is about $80 for a 2300 sq ft. home and a seperate garage detached. I signed up for the yearly (4 times a year) treatment program, which is why I spen $323 up front.

+ -1 moreI called them and an appointment was scheduled quickly. They came out inspected my yard and gave me an estimate and explained what they would be doing. The invoice was detailed as well. That day the went ahead and set out three traps. The next day they came back and put out the rest of the traps. About a week later, they removed the traps from my yard and told me they had caught two moles.

+ -1 moreIf you need a termite inspection you may want to give this company a call. They are reliable and they communicate well. They know the signs to look for when it comes to termite evidence. I was fully satisfied with them.
Description of Work: They inspected my new 3,000 square foot home for termites. I paid a one time fee of $75. They then came back to double check my home for termites at my request and did not charge me anything for that second once over where they found no termite evidence.

+ -1 moreI have a strong feeling of trustworthiness with the company. The provider shows up on time. They were able to take care of the rat concern. I am extremely pleased with their services in all aspects.
Description of Work: I have a yearly contract for the service to be completed on a quarterly basis. On the most recent visit, the service provider sprayed the interior and exterior of my 1600 square foot home. The spraying treats for ants, spiders, crickets and other unwanted pests. Due to a rat being in the area, they focused on the basement and backyard by setting traps.
