Logan Heating & Air Conditioning

Was completely satisfied with the customer service rep on the phone and the person who came out to service the units. Both gave detailed information and answered my questions fully. I signed up for an annual service contract with them for heating and air conditioning units.

They were on time and professional.

Conditioner unit was not blowing cold. Contacted Logan on two occasions while comparing price. Logan did agree to come out and look. Since it was a weekend call I was charged $133.00 due on the call. (I think Angie folk should get more of discount since they are providing this contact). He did not complete job that day but identified the problem and came back Monday to repair. We debated the price but he said I had the discount included. I thought it a bit high for the total repair but the job is complete. I paid a day or two later.

They arrived within the time they said they would and quickly and efficiently fixed the air conditioner and signed us up for annual maintenance. The technician was a pleasure to deal with.

They finished after 6 hours. They were very responsive, answered questions and waited to make sure everything was working the way it was supposed to. Mark was the salesman and made himself available for questions and follow-up. Jeff and Rick were my installers and they were very polite, professional and took great pride in the work they did.

What I liked best about Logan Heating and Air Conditioning was that the gentleman came out and gave us the best explanation of what can be done and then they proceeded to do that and they offered an opportunity of financing which we could pay within the year and that helped us financially. They were not the cheapest. We had a problem shortly after it was installed and they came right out and fixed it.

Today I had my heat pumps service for the winter and filters changed.

got multiple quotes. Logan HVAC was the most affordable with a branded a/c unit. A/c install date was a few days later than hoped for due to lack of inventory on hand, but was not an issue, as it was no longer summer. Install went well - salesman and owner stopped by to make sure install went well.

Logan arrives on time, uses "booties" in the house so I never have to worry about dirt. Before they start they explain what needs to be done, and when they're finished they go over it with me in detail. Including info on parts and pieces if need be. They give very good value for the price.

It went well. The guy who visited our house was professional and generous with his opinions about what we should do. He didn't pressure us in any way.

Tom Norton met me for the estimate. I had to repeat many of the things I needed quoted. When I asked about certain features such as venting the furnace, running the gas line, etc. he barely looked at how it would be installed and just said "oh yeah, they'll do that too". I knew exactly which Carrier units I wanted and gave him the specific model numbers. When I got the quote, it did not have the units I requested, instead it was a much lower quality and less efficient line. Also, everyone else that quoted the job (4 others) estimated I needed a 60k to 80k BTU furnace. Logan quoted a 100k BTU unit. Their price was several thousand dollars higher than all the others. Logan has a good reputation in this area and I was surprised by the low quality of the estimate process and what seemed to be a a disregard for the details of the system I was interested in having installed.

Very professional, couteous and knowledgeable. Explained each step and what it would cost before performing any maintenance or corrective actions. Completed the job in a timely manner. Will recommend Logan to anyone who needs A/C work in the future.

I was very pleased with the installation and they contacted the City Inspections Dept. to come out to inspect the work. I was very happy with their work installing the unit and they showed up on time and was very professional. I would use them again and would definitely reccommend them to others. Since my old air conditioner was so old I was really happy that my electric bill was reduced almost $50 the first month after the ac/heat pump was installed.

I contacted Logan HVAC for an estimate and recommendations on replacing a more than 20 year old heat pump. Their office personnel were very polite and efficient and set up an appointment with Doug Powell. Mr. Powell arrived at the scheduled time and discussed options with my wife. He had an estimate to us in a matter of a couple of days. We ultimately decided to use another company. That decision was based primarily on lower price and preferred brand of heat pump manufacturer (Consumer Reports recommendations regarding reliability and other online reviews). All of the Logan employees were very polite, professional and responsive.

We have a yearly contract with them. We have been with them for years. They are very prompt and I can get the appointment when I need it. If I have an emergency or something I know they will come out. I would absolutely recommend them.

Their prices are comparable; I would give their price an A for what they do. The main thing about them is their punctuality; when you schedule an appointment, they are there when they say they will be.

I saw them on Angie's List and they had high ratings. He came out and I explained to him that a piece of duct work needed to be reattached to the register and I wanted to get my air conditioning serviced also. The man came out and worked on it. He went into the crawl space and told me all these things that were wrong. He said the air handler under the house did not match the heat pump on the outside and eventually I would need a new system. I originally called him to service the air conditioner and to attach the duct. After he looked at everything he charged me almost two hundred and fifty dollars. The technician said he did not do duct work and that was an entirely different sales and installation department. I told them when I called this is what I needed done and serviced. He got my air conditioner running and said I might have a small leak. He put some freon in it and that's probably what made the whole thing cost so much. He said he fixed the air conditioner but left the duct. I was concerned about the duct being down and just blowing into the crawl space. He got on the phone right in front of me and told them what the problem was. He was also saying something about the air handler was a little bit off and it wasn't level. He recommended changing the duct work because the house is old, but I said that is not in my budget right now. He had a guy come out the next day. They guy came promptly and I swear to God he was not here 15 minutes. I truly think he was scared to crawl into the crawl space. He said the system was old and should just be replaced. I asked him if he attached the duct and he asked me what duct? So I had to call another company to do the work.

From the moment I called to schedule service until completion of the job, they were absolutely terrific. The technician came out 2 hours after my initial call. The work was done quickly and professionally. I now have a service contract for maintenance with them. It really was an excellent experience.

We've done business with Logan for a couple of years now, and have been very pleased with their work and professionalism. They fixed the unit at our old house (probably 12-15 years old), for a fraction of the cost of what it would be to replace the system. With our new house/system, they come out twice a year and check everything and change the filters. Would definitely recommend them!

When we obtained the initial quote the representative from Logan was professional and informative and provided several options. The service was done completely, and we have enjoyed the new system which has saved us money on our heating and AC costs. All the workmen were courteous and did their jobs well.
