Description of Work: My HVAC system was 25 years old and the compressor died. Since the compressor and air handler were both 25, we decided to replace the whole HVAC system with a new, more efficient unit. We did our research and decided to go with a Carrier Infinity + Greenspeed unit. Logan removed our old Trane, ran a new refridgerant line, installed the compressor and air handler, and made a stainless steel leak pan with water alarm for the air handler. The salesman was very personable, the installers were nice and professional. The secretary helped us with everything, including Duke power energy rebates and 60-month same-as-cash financing. Everything went amazingly well and I have absolutely no complaints.

Description of Work: I purchased a service contract for an annual Spring and Fall servicing and cleaning. The day of my appointment, the technician was actually a little early and actually called before hand to see if it was ok to arrive before the scheduled appontment time! The entire appointment was done with absolute professionalism and in a timely manner(within an hour and a half). The technician even gave me some essential tips/understanding about care of the unit between servicing!

Description of Work: I paid for a "deal" -- a whole house energy assessment for a flat rate of $99. They did everything that was to be included in the assessment; arrived promptly and even called to remind me to *use* the assessment I'd pre-paid for, as we approached the deadline for using it. Because of the nature of my system, there wasn't much they could recommend that wasn't already in place, but they did have some suggestions about heat loss through light switches and electric outlets and gave me advice how to address this, and also looked into heat loss through a sealed-off chimney. The technician promised to look into this for me, and in fact I received an email about a week later with the information involved, and a recommendation of a local specialist who could provide more information. I was very pleased with the experience and would happily contact them if I needed service in their area.

Description of Work: energy audit. The technician checked drafts from windows, doors, attic door. He gave suggestions on how to improve the problem with the attic door. I also received a detailed report on findings. Very good experience.

Description of Work: We had a bonus room over the garage that would get up to 100 degrees. I tried using stand up portable A/c units and nothing would work.. Logan came out and reviewed the area. A wall mounted system would not work due to the configuration of the room. Logan provided us with an estimate and within a week had an additional Carrier Heat pump. All of our problems are now solved. They were very professional and even vacuumed when the they finished..

Description of Work: Frank, the technician that serviced my furnace repair did a superb job! Our heat stopped working a couple of days ago. After listening carefully to my description of the problem and how I'd replaced the thermostat in an attempt to fix it, he went to work investigating. A few minutes later he was in the crawl space looking at the furnace. About an hour later it was fixed. He even showed me the courtesy of explaining the problem and the solution. The total bill was just $129, which included their $91 diagnostic fee. Fair enough!
