The stove-top was not working while the rest of the stove was working in reduced efficiency. I called CAS and they responded immediately. They were very flexible with time and they they came on an convenient time for us. He found that the stove was being"fed" by two circuits and one was down. The stove was not broken so I had to pay only for the trip.

Went great as expected and continues months later.

A bit pricey for trip charge but this may be industry norm as it has been awhile since I used appliance repairman. Have used company in past and will do so in future.

We had a great experience!! My daughter had gotten the stomach bug and of course my washer dies!! I called on Wednesday afternoon and and They came out first thing Monday morning and had the problem figured out in just a few minutes. The whole problem was fixed in less than an hour. They were very helpful as to what happened and some tips about my washer that will help me be more efficient.

Convenient set up an appointment right away to confirm my "diagnosis" of the problem with our washing machine (broken lid attachment). Danny came at the appointed time and offered to repair the broken part. We elected to buy a new lid instead, which had to be ordered. We were notified about a week later that the lid had come in. We scheduled delivery and Danny brought the new lid and installed it (a very quick job for which we were not charged, since we had paid the initial $75 service charge). We were very pleased with the service and the handling of the matter. We had use of the washer the whole time, so this was an non-emergency repair. Their service was timely and complete.

He went the extra mile in an attempt to get it completed before Thanksgiving. I was definitely pleased with the service and would be glad to recommend this company to every one.

Mark is friendly, quick, complete, and competent in his work. It would have been easy to put our job off until after Thanksgiving but he saw our level of concern and took care of it before. That was much appreciated. This was not a hard job...but we knew when he left that it had been done correctly and if anything went wrong, he would stand behind his work. We will definitely call Convenient Appliance Service/Mark Everhart when we need service in the future.

I wouldn't suggest anyone else! They are the best! Mike came out to look at our washer and found the problem right away. Found the part and had it replaced by the end of the week. He also helped out my grandmother whose refrigerator was leaking. He had to come out several times and try several different things to find it, but he was unrelenting in finding the problem. Turns out it was a hairline crack in the pan. Again, replaced and good as new by the end of the week.

I called the Greensboro location and they were able to dispatch Bob out the same day. He was punctual, very professional, friendly, and helpful. He fixed the problem within 15 minutes. The price was fair and we were able to get our refrigerator up and running immediately. We were able to save $1200 by not having to buy a new refrigerator.

Actually, I used this company but the office based in Greensboro, not Winston Salem. The service technician was very helpful. He told me what was wrong, that he could get a part soon and how much it would cost. I was not home when he came out the second time but he called me to update me that now there were multiple things wrong with the machine. He came out a third time and by then I decided to buy a new machine. I was only charged for the one service call. They were very efficient, prompt and helpful. A few weeks later I had an issue with my refrigerator. They came out quickly and fixed that problem. I really like working with this company.

On several occasions, Convenient has responded to our calls. In two occasions they recommended we buy new rather than repair. Keep in mind they do not sell appliances - they recommended what was in our best interest when they could have charged for an expensive repair. These people are great!

He arrived on time, very personable, answered my questions about CAS. He worked quickly and explained what he was seeing as he disassembled the ice chute. Although the cost for repair was not unreasonable, I decided not to spend the money because we plan to replace our refrigerator within the year. Chance also answered my questions about the reliability and quality of various brands of refrigerators based on his experience as a service technician.

They were able to diagnose the problem and order parts in one visit with plans to replace parts on a second visit for 1 price. Part cost was the bulk of expense. I have used these guys even before joining Angie's list, and was glad to see they were on the list.

see above Convenient Appliances did fix my Thermador stove last year, and did a good job. Mark also explained what he did (oven burner was going wacky) and how to get it where I wanted it to be if it wasn't keeping an even temp after the fix. It was fine, though. The service call isn't cheap ($73), but whose is?? They do good work.

Very pleased overall with the service. They showed up when they said they would, he was able to diagnose the problem quickly and explain my different options to me. He quoted me a price which ended up being higher than the actual cost to repair - always a pleasant surprise! He was back in 2 days with the part to repair it and did so quickly and effectively. He even let me take a second to vacuum behind the oven while he had it pulled out! I would definitely use them again and would recommend to a friend.

They are excellent! They have been very responsive. There have been a couple of times where I needed to only replace a heating element in my stove. They ordered the heating element, I picked it up, and they explained how to install it. They explain thoroughly if a unit needs replaces instead of being repaired.

Everything went well. He was professional, friendly, and provided helpful information. Ultimately, the gentleman advised me that replacing the unit's motor would be quite costly in relation to replacing the unit itself.

Our washing machine was very loud on the spin cycle. I called to make an appointment and was able to schedule it at the time I needed (on my day off of work). David arrived on time and was very professional. He diagnosed the problem with the washing machine within 5-10 minutes. He gave me a rough estimate of the cost to repair but said he would call me later that afternoon with an exact quote. The company offers a 10% discount coupon for the service charge on their website and David honored the coupon wtih no problems. The cost to repair was more than the value of the machine so we decided not to have it repaired. I would definitely use Convenient Appliance Service in the future.

Would recommend them and would use again.

We had trouble scheduling ourselves to be here when they could to start with. Not their fault and they where gracious enough to accommodate our wishy washy timing. Our first issue was that they where supposed to call when they where 20 minutes from us. The man called us from our driveway when we did not answer the door. annoyed my wife rushed back home to get this done. My first thought was that the circuitry had gone awry with the multiple failures we had, fortunately that was not the case and none was connected to the other. Sock had gotten in the pump, got that out and all was well with the drainage. However the next part was bit of a problem. The gentleman told my wife to clean the tray that the liquids go in, which we had already done. That did not matter to him, he said that was the problem without looking and he had 15 years experience to back him up, and he offered no solution to the shaking other than to tell us it was probably the floor. Aggravated at this point, we paid the bill and he was ushered out the door. I called them back and told of my experience and that 2 of the 3 issues are still unresolved and I wanted them to come back out to take care of this and I did not want the same man. They where very apologetic and offered any number of times to come back out and we let them. the second man was a completely different experience, redeemed the company with his professional service, time spent and solutions made. He was terrific. The dispenser compartment was dirty and showed us where to clean, the floor was fine BUT when these are put on the pedestal we should not spin on high. He waited until the machine ran a complete cycle to make sure everything worked as it should. Had this been graded on the second visit it would have been a A straight down the list. They are a great company with 3 locations in the Triad and plenty of parts of hand to take care of what is needed and very helpful whenever I have been to see them for parts. I would use them again, because they really want my business and did what it took to prove it.

Called on Tuesday just after 8 am and a technician was at my door by 10 am. The technician diagnosed the problem within minutes as a broken door latch that was keeping the door from closing and thus keeping cutting the electrical current. I asked him if I could purchase the part (which was $116) and do the fix myself. He walked me through how to do the fix. In the meantime, he used electrical tape to fix the problem temporarily. I was charged labor and the trip charge, which in my book was a great deal since the machine is now working and didn't immediately require a new part.

When they only had a more expensive part, they agreed to cut the price of the labor to cover the difference. They showed up on time, and after about an hour of trying, when the work couldn?t be done due to another problem with my stove, they only charged me for the time spent, cleaned up, and left. Will use them again.

The visit was quick, professional, no pressure. I would highly recommend them.

I had just had knee surgery and definately needed lot of ice on my knee for the pain/swelling when my ice make quit working. I called Convenient Appliance because I had used them in the past. Although they couldn't come on the day I called (Friday), they did come on Monday and made the repair. What I especially appreciated is that the technician recommended and completed a repair to the existing ice maker, rather than telling me I'd need a whole new ice maker for a lot more money. I would never have known the difference. He replaced a part to complete the repair and its been working fine ever since.

They were through our service plan from an appliance we bought from Lowes. They we very good to deal with and the guy was very courteous when he came. They had to come back with a part, but they came when they said and called. They were very nice and I didn't feel uncomfortable. I didn't have any choice but to use them because I wasn't paying, but they were prompt and took care of everything. The guy talked to me and was just very informative. We also talked about what they would've charged me and the fact that if they have to come back because they don't have a part they will not charge you for the service and I thought all of that was very reasonable. I actually have to call him back for the dishwasher I bought because the steam part needs to be fixed. They did everything they said and I have the service plan and want to try to keep their contract.
