I was very pleased with their work. We had no electricity in the basement and he found a faulty fuse. It appeared to have reset but it didn't and he was able to fix the problem.

Very smoothly. The workers were very pleasant and careful to be sure that I was satisfied with the placement of the new fixtures.

One of the dining room outlets sparked and popped when I tried to plug something in which tripped a breaker; I re-set the breaker, but my microwave started performing as if power was coming to it intermittently. I researched Angie's list and found Bretco. They came first thing Monday morning and found that 2 outlets were burned out and that the contractor who installed the kitchen updates several years ago tied the 20 amp microwave into the 15 amp circuit of the dining room and that the wire used was too small. He told me that we were at a fire risk, strongly suggested that I not use the microwave and to put the microwave on its own 20 amp circuit and breaker. He came back 2 days later, completed the work in about 2 hours and everything works perfectly. I feel much safer. He was professional, did not waste time, and I didn't feel that the charges were too high for everything that was done. I will call Bretco in the future, if needed.

They completed it in a timely fashion with quality work.

Everything went well until I asked about the 2hrs I prepaid [coupon on Angie's List] since it only took about an hour. Apparently, the coupon designated UP to 2hrs work [on same visit, can't split 2 one hr visits]. I bought coupon believing I would have at least 2 hrs or more work to replace circuit breaker. So be careful when purchasing coupons. Did ask if he would put up the fan cover in bath since I had replaced light bulb and couldn't get cover up. I was trying to get a little more time for my money. He was happy to do it.

Over the past month, I have worked with Bretco on three occasions and they have become my trusted, 'go to' electrician. We initially purchased the Angie's List special promotion. The promo got the job started in our garage, which we are re-finishing. Bretco removed all the outdated wiring, roughed in all new outlets and switches, and returned to hook everything up after we had completed the finishing work. The entire team from Bretco (Mike, Randy, Will to name a few) are very knowledge, honest, and work very hard to get the job done as quickly possible. They are all personable and take the time to explain what they are doing and your options. You can trust these guys to not give you the run around and not to try to overcharge -- they are fair and honest. Their hourly rate is reasonable and their parts prices are also fair. On each of the three visits, they have been punctual and responsive. As we continue remodel projects, we will turn to Bretco. If you are looking for honest, fair, and reasonable electrical service, I would strongly recommend Bretco.

Went very well. I had him come again, this time to install two lighting fixtures and put a plate on a dimmer switch. Three people came, and everything was done in an hour. I will call them again when I am ready for the installation of more fixtures. I would also like for them to check out some electrical problems that I have been having.

The receptionist took my information and said she'd get someone on it. I was contacted almost immediately and the electrician gave me a time he was available and could be here. He was right on time and was very professional. Obviously knew his trade and I didn't feel as though he was trying to pull one over on me. I know nothing about electric circuits and he could have made up any kind of name and told me I needed a thing-a-ma-jig and I'd have bought it. He told me how he would handle it if it was his house and I felt comfortable with his diagnosis. Great company.

I called that morning and that afternoon Bretco sent out two guys who took care of an interior kitchen light as well as figured out how to get 25 year old exterior security lights to work! Very professional and overall for what they did a very good value.

Installed two bathroom vent fans. Came on time, worked diligently, cleaned up after. I'd hire again for electrical work. The cost included the price of one fan w/ light.

After calling 3 times finally got a time he would come to price the installation of 200a service to my garage and workshop. When I first talked with them I asked if they did work in Thomasville considering he was in Winston-Salem (25 miles away). I was told yes twice. He was suppose to show at 2pm and at 3pm I called. He called back about 3:15 and said it was too far for him to come. Poor and unprofessional. If they refuse to travel 25 or so miles for a job they need to put it in their area of service. I will not recommend them to anyone.

He was on time and professional. I would definitely use him again.

Initial installation date was changed at the last minute and unlike quite a few other contractors we have dealt with in the past, Bretco called immediately to let us know the change in plans. Upon re-scheduling the next date was rained out but on the final date two men arrived on time and stayed on the job until completion. All areas were cleaned up afterward and old fixtures removed from the premises. Overall good job, good service and prompt responses.

They did a nice job in all areas. In particular, my TV install above the fireplace with poor access below and above, was a challenge. They were able to pull it off to my satisfaction.

Everything worked out great. They were very helpful and got everything done that we needed in the time that we had purchased. They came out a week or so after the purchase. There may have been some charges for parts. They were professi0onal. They were there when they said they would be. I didn't have any issues with either of the 2 men who serviced our house.

Bretco was very responsive, arriving soon after we contacted them to examine the job and start to generate a quote. Randy was very helpful when speaking to us about our options. One notable example was the suggestion to install remote control kits on the new ceiling fans to prevent having to cut open the walls to install new switches, which saved time and money. After we settled on Bretco (we met with three different electrical services), they started work immediately and were done very quickly. They then reviewed what had been done. All the work seems to have been done in a thorough and professional manner, and we even got a couple of little "extras", such as replacement of an old 220V outlet in the kitchen (apparently for a window unit) with a GFCI outlet, giving us an outlet on one end of the countertop where none existed before. They did similar work in the garage, giving us an outlet that we didn't have and wasn't part of the quote.

Purchased two hours electrical service on Angies List for Bretco Electric. I had put in the notes to Bretco Electric the work that I needed done. They sent out a technician and the technician said he was not qualified to vent my range hood exhaust fan. He said he would notify the office and have a third party give me a call. I chose to go with another company and not use Bretco Electric for any service nor use the third party they had give me a call. I feel that Bretco should have read my note before sending someone out if they were not going to be able to perform the work. Would not use this company again.

The work was excellent and timely. The guys were quite nice. The only issue I had was that the Angie's List deal I purchased overran the initial planned work and did not get credited toward moving the TV wires. I probably overpaid by $25-50. That said, I'm not unhappy about the overall experience. The work was quite good and they were very attentive to what I was asking them to do.

Arrived at scheduled time and went right to work - completed in 1 and a half hours. Very courteous and professional, 2 people one senior experienced and on younger.

Services were rendered with a smile and timely workmanship. customer service was outstanding!
