Description of Work: I am a new Angies List member of only a couple of weeks. I had some outlets and light switches that did not work and a power drain when two appliances were on at the same time. I found Bretco Electric and saw that they had good reviews and an Angies ribbon, I assume meaning they were outstanding. I called them 4/4/2013 and was told they could do the work on Monday 4/8/2013 and that someone would call me before coming to my house. I arranged to take a day of vacation on Monday so that I could be there. By 4:15 no one had called to say they were coming and no one called to tell me that they were not going to be able to come that day. I wasted a day of vacation waiting for nothing! I called their office at approximately 4:15 and got no one on the phone even though they don't close until 4:30. I guess I should have paid more attention to the negative reviews because you cannot always go by the good ones. I will never call them again except to complain.

Description of Work: Called Bretco to schedule estimate. After taking all of my information and asking me many questions about the work and telling me they would call me back to schedule, they NEVER called to scheduled.

Description of Work: I needed to have a new fan/heater installed in my master bathroom. I called Bretco and spoke with Tina, who contacted Randy immediately. He came out promptly and gave me an estimate. He advised me that I could purchase the hardware required cheaper on-line, which I did. Randy and his associate, Will, arrived on time on the scheduled day and did a great job. I will, without question, call Bretco again, and recommend them highly.
