Response from RJS Heating & Air, Inc
[Removed Member Name], We received your request for service from Angie’s List on April 17, 2015. It was determined that the property was a mobile home and while RJS Heating and Air, Inc. does not currently work on mobile homes as a principal we determined that we would dispatch one of our service technicians that we felt could possibly provide service to your system. Upon arrival our technician discovered that not only was the power turned off at the furnace, he could also see burnt wires, cut wires as well as electrical wires that were not connected in order for the Nordyne system to start up. Our technician determined at the time not to move forward with any type of repairs on your system as we did not have an electrical diagram readily available. Our Service Coordinator contacted you on Monday, April 20, 2015 to inform you that we were not able to locate a diagram for your system and that we felt it would be in your best interest to find another company who currently works on mobile homes to service your unit. Our records further indicate that she instructed you to contact Angie’s List for a full refund as we were not charging you for the service call. Since you failed to contact Angie’s list for a full refund we have taken it upon ourselves to refund you the full amount that was paid to Angie’s List for our services as a good faith gesture on our behalf. We wish you the best in the future.
