Clean Sweep

Kathryn and her crew came in to do a deep cleaning for me before the holidays. They went right to work and in about 2 and a half hours the house was spotless from top to bottom!

Every other week she arrives within her set time, and if she is late or early she always calls me to let me know. She will make beds, when I strip a bed and place clean sheets in a stack for her to do, inclusive in pricing. She does not do laundry, but will do little extras for me often such as wash the sink of dishes I left behind more than once! She has many rooms to cover, and 4 bathrooms and it is an older house, '40s, so there are cobwebs that she also never misses. She gets every surface in this house! I know the products that she uses and recommends; she does not engage in long conversations unless we chose to discuss the house or extra things to do, which she will clearly tell you upfront. She also, when she slows down a bit ,not too busy, has offered to help me out with extra things: you will see when you talk to her. She has never left the house with any problems that we find, such as an unlocked door, and I trust her with all of my things, including my jewelry collection I treasure. Also she will not go into cleaning around personal items that are left behind, such as mail stacks, or jewelry I have left out, because she respects privacy. Being straight up from the beginning was great, so anything extra she will handle. I have never found her to be slow, nor talkative unless I engage her in conversation. ALL the baths sparkle, she sweeps, followed by a vacuuming and then works with her favorite new hardwood floor formula she found that dries quickly yet it shines beautifully. She puts up with and loves my 2 dogs and respects our requests to watch out that they don't escape! I am happier than I have ever been, as she is kind, communicates well, prices it out fairly, and she does do it well, and the pricing was so reasonable as well that she was hired right away!

Kathryn headed up a three-man crew that deep-cleaned our whole house prior to moving in. When finished, the house was sparking clean and smelled fresh. Nothing was untouched including the blinds and stains in the bathroom. Hire her and you will not regret it!

Kathleen and her crew did a wonderful job from cleaning and scrubbing everything from the base boards to the doors, floors and moldings. She offered appliance cleaning as well. She was punctual and professional and we are very satisfied with her service.

Kathryn and her co-workers cleaned our rental unit. It was left in a horrible state by the last tenant so we were amazed at how good it looked after she was through. She was very thorough, even moving the fridge and getting into every little nook and cranny. She did this on an emergency, same-day call after the person whom we had set up to clean canceled at the last second. She re-worked her afternoon and made it over earlier than she said she would be able to do it. We were completely satisfied and would use A Clean Sweep again and again.

.Simply the best housecleaning I have ever had. They cleaned behind the furniture, everything was spotless. I had boxes and stuff strewed all over the house, they even organized this mess and made my house look like a home and not a construction project. Would definitely reccomend.

Kathryn is very detailed oriented. Her team of three were efficient, thorough, and went way beyond what I expected in a cleaning. Deep cleaning is exactly what they did. My baseboards and bathroom tiles are clean enough to eat off. This three-person team got down to the bare bones of our 22 year old home. I have cats and there is not a cat hair or bit of dust anywhere. They even went into the heat returns. From polishing ceiling fans to the light bulb in the baths. Grout in bathrooms could not have sparkled this much from day one of installation. Starts at one end and details all the way around to the last point of the house. Everything here smells so fresh and clean. I can't express how happy I am with their work and hope to use them from here on out for regular and deep cleanings.

Kathryn's crew was always professional and did a great job on the other areas of the home. Kathryn recognized areas that may have needed extra attention and didn't waste time bringing those areas to my attention and went to cleaning them quickly. I found her easy to deal with and look forward to perhaps using her on a regular basis.

We have been working with Kathryn and her team at Clean Sweep for 8 months now. We started with a whole house deep clean. We maintain our house with a weekly cleaning. What we appreciate most about Kathryn is that she works hard and listens to feedback. Everyone has different tastes and requirements, and she makes sure to listen to our requests and feedback, and does the job the way we like.

It was and always is WONDERFUL! She pays great attention to detail and made sure to review everything with me before starting so that we had the same expectations. Now that she comes regularly she knows what I like and how I like it but never hesitates to asks if anything new is going on or needs to be done. I love how she works in one direction and makes sure not to miss a thing! I clean in a haphazard manner and have learned a lot from observing her too. She and her team come in and knock out everything, if ever taking only short breaks. And because she charges for the time she is here - if a room isn't ready to be done - or I need more time - I simply pay for gets done. When she leaves, my house is clean, dust and dander free, smells wonderful and it ALWAYS makes me smile. She has also always been flexible with my schedule and that is a very important thing to me with how my life is right now. It is a relief to know that I can relax and take care of other things going on - I fully trust her and her team. She says what she's going to do, does it and ALWAYS checks in to make sure nothing was missed or not the way I wanted it. Deep clean or weekly clean - in my world she's a life saver!

Very well, detail oriented, on time, great customer service

I simply must start by saying that the last two reviews could not be more wrong about Kathryn and her crew. You rarely meet a business person as kind, punctual, detail-oriented and wanting-to-please as Kathryn Price. She has been my housekeeper for over a year and my house has never looked better. My husband and I moved back into our home last spring after an extensive renovation that was compounded by a messy former owner. Kathryn cleaned our 'construction site' so well and with such exacting detail that we know she had to become a permanent part of our lives! You have never seen a cleaner house than when the Clean Sweep crew is done with it. I am a very exacting customer -- clean to the point of being nearly OCD - and Kathryn exceeds my expectations. The little details are Kathryn's signature style - she and her crew notice dust and dirt in places you would never notice and they go the extra mile to make sure your home sparkles. Everything is always in its place when I come home - I don't have to spend time rearranging my house like I have when other cleaners have visited. And Kathryn will bend over backwards to make sure you are happy with your superb cleaning. One of my favorite stories about Kathryn is that she called my one afternoon after my weekly cleaning that morning to tell me that she was coming back to my home. She had forgotten to clean our kitchen sink and she made a special trip across town to make sure the job was 110% done! What amazing customer service! I can honestly say that you won't find a better housekeeper in Wilmington than Kathryn - outside of her amazing work she is kind, trustworthy and willing to bend over backwards to make you happy. I don't know what I would do without her!

When I spoke with her she spoke about her "high standard" of cleaning. However, the high standard did not show up on the day the home was cleaned. The crew wasted 2 hours cleaning my bathroom, attempting to get hard water stains out that I told them was not coming out. The owner moaned, grunted and groaned while cleaning. Really, I don't need to hear that at the price I paid. When she asked me to check after her crew there was still undusted window sills, baseboards and blinds. Also the hardwood floors were horribly smudgy to the point where as soon as they left I was cleaning immediately after. Lots of money, very low quality of work and little professionalism face to face. She talks a good game but did not deliver. I also did not get my 20% angieslist discount.

We feel that we were ripped off and resent that she could charge such a high amount for such horrible work.

Kathryn got back to me within an hour of calling and got me scheduled with 2 other cleaners in tow. She estimated 4 hours with 3 people and that's exactly what it took! They worked diligently and fast and she checked up on the other workers regularly and re-directed when needed and also took time to check in with me to make sure she was focusing in on the things I wanted done and not wasting time on things I didn't need completed. With 3 cats they were wonderful in getting all the dander and fur gone from the house and it was sparkling and smelled wonderful! It was the perfect thing for my special day and I could not have been happier with the results! It was her reviews on Angie's List that led me to her and I am so very very happy to report that they lived up to every kind word already said! I am already planning to have her come in for maintenance on my home as it didn't feel invasive and I felt that she cared for my possessions and pets as if they were her own! I highly recommend using her to anyone - she's a Pro and works with Pro's!

It went fine. They came in, did the deep clean from top to bottom, everything needed cleaning. Then they came twice a month thereafter to keep it up.

We purchased a home and a crew of 4 came to clean for 4 hours. The house had been rented and empty for a number of months prior to our purchasing it. By the time they were finished it smelled and looked great. The young woman who did the kitchen did an amazing job on the appliances.

Great service. Kathryn's team arrived on time and ready to clean. They spend a little over 3 hours and the house was spotless. All details were cleaned including ceiling fans, vents, etc. After service was complete I did a Kathryn did a walk through with me to make sure I was 100% satisfied (which I was). We will be using her services in the future for sure! Great work.

Took longer than expected, but end result was good

I was able to get on the schedule easily and fairly fast. Kathryn called to let us know that they were on their way. A team of three arrived and started work immediatley and methodically. Communication was great. We had a deep clean of our house and with 7 cats, it was needed. When they left, so did the dust and cat fur. The house looks and feels clean!!!! I would definitely recommend Clean Sweep to others. They were here over 4 hours and I felt the price was reasonable considering the quality of service provided.

I received cleaning services by Clean Sweep as a gift and could not have been more pleased. Kathryn was prompt and very professional. She took the time to look around the house before starting and discuss the main areas to be addressed. She was very clear about what could and could not be accomplished and was also willing to accommodate any particular cleaning product likes/dislikes. Great attention to detail and concerned with making sure I was happy and completely satisfied. Will definitely be using this cleaning service again!!
