Very well, fast and responsive.

Mediocre at best - mislabeled and then worked on wrong blower unit; seemed unsure of himself; price of replacement unit 50% higher than other bids.

Overinflated the need for new freon, which cost a lot of money. Service contract higher than who we eventually went with for a regular service (Green Dot). Technician not very professional.

ARS disclosed a problem that could have resulted in a large, unscheduled expense. Purchased HVAC inspection on Angie's list. Was somewhat hesitant because ARS carried a B rating. Technician came on time, answered all my questions, supplied a written list of services to be performed and allowed me, with a good attitude, to follow him throughout the various stages of the inspection. A compression test revealed that the unit was low on refrigerant. Did not have ARS resupply the refrigerant because I have a Home Service Warranty that requires me to use a contractor of their choice or pay the difference in cost charged by ARS vs the warranty co's contractor. Was so pleased with the thoroughness and professionalism of Mike, ID #420 that I signed up for their bi-annual service contract.

ARS Wilmington came to repair the unit so they checked and saw what the problem was. They corrected the problem but as they corrected it, they found some other issues. They said they could repair it but there was no guarantee that something bigger wouldn't go within the short period of time. We went to the option of getting a new air conditioner. What they would do is that they subtracted the amount of work thay they had done and credit it towards the new unit. That was what we chose to do. The work they did was okay. So far, we're not having anymore problems. It is a new air conditioner but we really shouldn't. They were prompt and neat. They cleaned up after themselves as much as they could. They're very pleasant and polite as far as their professionalism. As far as I know at this point, we're not having any problems. Hopefully, it's a good unit and it will last for a long time. The price sounded reasonable. The air conditioner worked and they came back and checked it a couple of hours later to make sure that the house cooled off properly. I would continue to use them in the future.

They showed up at the appropriate time, worked steadilyand reviewed their work when completed to assure thar everything was working properly.

it went terriable 13 days for a bad fan motor. $900.00 in not needed parts put freon in, then took out. . changed air handler flap. next guy put back. put in brand new fan motor that was bad. the last guy was the only one who acted like he knew what he was doing.

they forgot to replace desk moved to clean interiors windows. Have agreed to return to do it

ARS came out to check my HVAC system that was not cooling properly. It is still a new system that is under warranty. I was not at home, so my wife called me so I could speak to the technician. It took me 15 minutes of arguing with him to make him understand the system was under warranty and he finally just put freon in the system and told me it would need to be looked at again because it had some kind of slow leak.

It turned out fine. They were punctual, reliable and they explained everything.

I think they are reputable. They came when they said they would and they finished when they said they would.

When they installed the new AC system, it was fine but there was something that needed to be fixed when we sold the house that wasn't under warranty. I felt they didn't help us out but overall, they were fine.

They have done a fine job. They are always very punctual and always call before they come. They also always show up on time.

Everything has turned out fine; we are pleased with their work.

We are happy with their service but we have to stay on top of them. For example, they are supposed to come out before the summer, but they didn't call us, we had to call them. They are friendly and nice and we plan on using them in the future.

Overall the installation and cleanup was very professional. We were and still are pleased.

I had them come because they installed they unit. I think that they are kind of expensive. It took them five or six service visits to fix it. The problem was known from the start. I think that they just didn’t want to bite the bullet and reroute the line. In retrospect they could have done that on the first or second visit. So I think that they did temporary repairs that didn’t solve the problem. They have always come out on emergency conditions. They would drain it and get the thing running again. The problem would recur because they didn’t fix the root cause. Although they seemed technically competent, I think it was not a real sensible way to do business. They didn’t charge me for all five or six visits. I am not that angry about that. I am angry about half a dozen outages which weren’t necessary. The individual technicians, once they got here were professional and knew what they were doing. Somebody needed to bite the bullet and fix the issue rather than just having temporary repairs done on an emergency phone call. Some of these were done like 11 o’clock at night. I understand that they didn’t want to do a major project at 11 o’clock at night, but somebody should have come back and fixed it. I have purchased an extended warranty through them and hence will have to use them in future. I wouldn’t recommend somebody else to start with them.

Heat would not come on and called/paid afterhours rates for tech to come out on Sunday. He put his hand on the inducer motor and said it was bad..too hot and not coming on. He then quoted me $765 to replace the motor on top of the $155 diag fee for a total of $843!!! He also was pushing that the entire unity needed to be replaced and setup a "consultation" with a sales rep for monday to quote replacing the whole system! I called another company on monday morning, they came out for a free second opinion and, after checking the electrical which was not done before, found it was just a bad motor capacitor and charged $252 to fix. They also checked the whole system and said it was in "great shape" Did not need replacement!!! ARS techs work on commission. That is why the tech was pushing to replace the entire system!!! BEWARE!!!!!

We are under contract with them so they come out every 6 months and look over everything. They are good and I will use them again in the future.
