Description of Work: ARS came out to perform a quote on a new heat pump for our home. The sales representative was very punctual and professional. During his assessment of our old unit he was very informative stating exactly what he was doing and why he needed that information. He was also very friendly and was easily engaged in conversation. The assessment took very little time. He then proceeded to give us all of our options on units they offered. Details on the units themselves was lacking compared to competitors. He was honest in what he thought we needed, not pushing us to buy the most expensive unit, but at the same time explaining why the least expensive unit wasn't the best. Units were reasonably priced compared to competitors (when the discount was included), however, financing was not as good. He wasn't pushy, however, he definitely wanted us to buy a unit that night, but understood that we needed some time to think about it. Would recommend in the future.

Description of Work: Annual service contract for preventive maintenance. That work was fine. I have decided to use another service provider that does the HVAC maintenance on my second home in Pender County and does not push selling products or additional services like ARS.

Description of Work: We have used ARS for years... Probably 10. I have always been pleased with their service and feel it is comparable to similar services as far as price for work done. They have been very responsive the few times we have had a problem with our equipment. Oh and we would certainly recommend ARS.

Description of Work: They did a routine semi-annual inspection of my HVAC system. Technician recommended replacement of $350 worth of refrigerant. Since my house was under warranty, called the company who then sent another HVAC contractor out at a deductible cost of $100.He found that refrigerant replacement was unnecessary. A week later, the ARS maintenance supervisor came out with another technician and reinspected the HVAC system. They confirmed that no refrigerant was required. Since I had signed an annual service agreement, a $100 credit was applied to my account to reimburse me for the deductible expense connected with my home warranty. Since ARS made good on the deal, I won't berate them but will be vigilant during september's inspection. | |This report has already been posted on your website.

Description of Work: We have an annual service contract with ARS. They provide twice a year maintenance on our HVAC equipment for the last several years. They have had to replace a few parts over that period. We have been very pleased with their professionalism and the quality of their work. Their pricing is competitive for this type service.
