John Hansen arrived when said he would and began work after very patiently gathering all the facts pertaining to my family's plumbing concerns. Believe me - no easy tasks! This excellent plumber worked for at least 5 to 6 hours and at the completion asked if there were any other plumbing concerns. He was thorough and professional during the entire appointment. Furthermore, he called us in a couple of days as a follow-up. During his follow-up call he was able to instruct me to adjust the water level in another toilet not involved in the original appointment. I would recommend John Hansen to anyone needing a plumber and it is wonderful to finally have a professional plumber for my home. -

I had previously used Mr. Hansen to install two outside spigots during the summer and was very satisfied with the job he did. So it was without reservation that I had him do the toilet repair. He worked efficiently and had all necessary equipment to get the job done in ample time and the toilet was up and running In no time. He made sure I tried it out before he left so make sure I was completely satisfied. After he left I went to clean up behind him and realized he had already done that so much so, one would be hard-pressed to even know I had a plumbing job done in there!, Now the guest bathroom is shot (house built in 1998) I need my water heater drained and cleaned out... you have one guess who Im gonna call and it aint gonna be the Ghost Busters....it's gonna be JOHN WORTH HANSEN - NC MASTER PLUMBER.

John worked smoothly and efficiently. He knows codes very well, and offered excellent guidance that helped me decide to replace my washer drain line. Clearly knows his stuff. Very nice, considerate, and friendly - I very much appreciated all of his hard work.

Mr. Hansen called me back within 15 minutes of me leaving him a voice mail that we had no water pressure. He was currently on a job and said he would come look at our problem as soon as he finished up, and would call when he was on the way. In the timeframe he gave me for finishing the job he was on, he called and said he would be at our home in 25-35 minutes, and he arrived within that time. He quickly determined that our lack of water pressure was due to a failing gate valve in the turn off for water to the house; he was able to get the water flowing through it again, but said it would need to be replaced. Since we have a home warranty and this will be about a $300+ repair, we decided to file a claim with our warranty company to have that fixed. We had a bath spigot to replace and some trim on a tub and sink that we wanted installed, so since he was there we had him do it, saving my husband the frustration of doing it, and I am glad we did. My husband would have not been able to do it on the pedestal sink as the space was so tight, he had to remove the sink to get the drain apart. Mr. Hansen is personable and conscientious about doing the job right. I was happy he could come to us fairly quickly and get our water flowing. along with getting some little jobs done. I would definitely call him again.

He was on time and the price was great. He worked with us and we were able to order our own part. It was a nice experience.

Leaking Toilet fixed. Travel time charges were not understood by owners, and hiked the price up . Job was done very thoroughly, a bit slow.

He arrived a few minutes late, and that was fine. He went to work right away and explained what he was going to do and did it. He offered suggestions on my project and recommendations that would be to my benefit and they worked out well. He was professional, personable and courteous and did a great job. I would recommend him to others and not hesitate to use him again.

John came to my house to evaluate a water stain on my ceiling. I left him an email at night (stating not urgent) which he responded to promptly in the morning. He gave me times to call him and worked with me to identify a convenient time that day. He arrived on time, was curteous, friendly, and listened to my comments. He asked questions, then inspected the area including the attic. He offered ideas on what could be going on then laid out the potential paths forward. I was happy that he made a recommendation (which was a conservative approach) and didn't steer or pressure me one way or another. When he began work on the toilet, he worked quickly, cleaned up, and made sure all was in order before leaving. He asked if I was happy or if there was anything he could have done better. Overall this was a very positive experience and I will not hesitate to call him back

When the plumber I'd used before was unable to keep a current appointment because of an emergency, I needed someone last minute to replace the kitchen faucet after DIY had led to "maybe we should just turn the water off and call a plumber" rather than go from Thurs afternoon until Mon without a working kitchen sink. John was great. I called him around 8:30am, and he promised to call when he finished up the service he was already on and was headed our way. He was at our house shortly after 10:30am, and within a little over an hour he'd removed the old leaky faucet (it was the removal that had stymied our DIY efforts), prepped the sink (including cleaning/buffing away all the crud that had built up around the previous faucet fixture to provide a good seal for the new one), and installed the new faucet for us. He was fast, friendly, and took the time to explain what he needed to do, and after, had done.

Arrived at the time indicated and examined the problem before attempting to fix the problem. Performed work efficiently and explained what he had to do to complete the repair. Requested I check the work before making payment. Spent a few minutes explaining the merits of using certain types of faucets in answer to my questions. Would definitely utilize his services in future if needed.

I stupidly screwed a screw into my garage wall directly into the 3 1/2" laundry drain pipe. I called John over the holiday weekend, and he responded to me in less than an hour. We set up a window of time for him to come out, and he arrived on the early part of that window. He called in advance to let me know he was coming. He quickly assessed the problem and presented me with a few repair options and all the considerations he would need to make in order to complete the repair properly. Once we decided on the ideal course of action, John completed the work quickly and double-checked to make sure the repair was completely leak-proof. He then advised us on what the likely cause of a bathtub leak was (it was not a plumbing issue). John was punctual, worked quickly, and was a really nice guy. I would not hesitate to recommend him for future work.

Very good service. He arrived on time. He ordered the parts like he said he would. He returned on time the following day with parts and a helper to complete the job. He gave a clear explanation for follow up maintenance.

Throughly examined the issue. Installed parts and explained what he was going to do.

Both spigots were replaced with updated models with a slight pipe adjustment. Mr. Hansen had to go underneath house to do this work and the temperature today was well into the 80's. By the completion of the job John had become a friend not just a workman. I have two toilets that will have to be replaced (next year) and I will definitely be calling NC Master Plumber to do the installation. I would recommend Mr. Hansen without reservation to friends and neighbors. I spoke with another plumber a while back and he wanted more than what Mr. Hansen charged so his fee was in no way out of line with regards to cost for this type of work. I am so relieved to have this repair work done, I knew any day that spigot was ready to snap, and it also dripped. Im a happy camper for sure...THANK YOU JOHN WORTH HANSEN

Went very well. Called John last night, he said he'd be by this morning which he was, took care of it and checked that all the water services worked afterwards. It was a simple job for him but he showed up and took care of it in a professional and timely manner.

My house had two toilets not working and one was leaking. After having no luck with plumbers in the past I gave John with NC Master Plumber a call. Called and left a message and John called me back within 15 min. John came about 1 hour later to make the repair. He was professional the whole time and kept me informed on the repair. He ran a long rod down the line to clear it. Then pulled the leaky tolet then put on new seals and installed it. I ask, and he gave me advice on how to make a few minor repairs myself. NC Master Plumber is my new plumber!

Everything went well for what I paid well worth it. Called on a Sunday left a message he called back within 1 hour. Set up to come out on Monday at 10 am and was there.

The appointment was set; John was on time, willing to answers as many questions as I asked. The work was done quickly and professionally, but John was never rushed. He took time out as needed and understands what customer service is about.

Rodded out sewer line, wrote out his bill including an explanation that the blockage was beyond the curbline.Mr. Hanson was very professional, ontime, very knowledgeable, quite friendly.

John said he would be there at 9:00 am Saturday. He was right on time (he even called to confirm at 8:40). He got right to work. Did an excellent job (I would go out to see how everything was going periodically and he would explain what he was doing, and was very professional). I was very pleased with his work. He had me make sure every faucet was working and no issues were found before he left. Invoice was right in line (or a little less) than other plumbers performing same type of work. He was very knowledgeable and competent to perform this type of work - not all plumbers can work on wells, but would try anyways. He knew what he was doing, was professional - and he is now my go-to plumber for all future needs.

We have been very satisfied with NC Master Plumber. Mr. Henson arrived promptly for all appointments and was polite and informative. After evaluating our hot water heater and determining that the leak was due to corrosion, he helped us to choose an appropriate replacement. While he was here, he noticed that we did not have a whole house sediment filter system. We are on a well and our water does contain quite a bit of sediment. We had been previously unaware that a simple whole house filter could be installed. Mr. Henson patiently answered all of our questions very thoroughly. Mr. Henson completed the hot water heater replacement, filter installation and outdoor facet replacement all on one very cold, wet January day. We are very thankful for his services. Highly recommend.

The first time we called NC Master Plumber and left a message he returned our call that evening and arranged to come by the following Monday morning to fit our new kitchen sink. Although, he ran into several anomalies, he worked diligently through them and left us with a very professional job completed, which we were and remain fully satisfied with. John is a very friendly and professional person who know all the ins and outs of North Carolina plumbing requirements but will go above and beyond these if he feels it will improve the outcome. He is extremely diplomatic and respectful of the customer's wishes and property. I felt very comfortable with him working in my home and leaving him there on his own when I needed to leave the house. We have retained his services 3 times now, and whilst a little higher priced than some others we feel comfortable that he will work to a very high standard and leave us fully satisfied. We are now planning a major bathroom makeover and have no doubt that John Hansen of NC Master Plumber will win the contract and compete it to our utmost satisfaction. I might add, that my husband and I now consider John a friend, as well as 'our plumber'.

Mr. Hansen is indeed a master plumber. He is very knowledgeable, referring to his considerable experience in explaining how he has arrived at possible solutions to the specific problem. Approaches work with an attitude of solving a problem rather than just completing a task. Astonishingly, he arrives on time and works efficiently. We will certainly call on Mr. Hansen for any future plumbing work. I have reviewed other plumbers on Angies List in the past, but Mr. Hanson is a cut above in his knowledge and approach, in our opinion. In addition, he actually makes a point of thanking the customer for their business. And, he was able to help us obtain free replacement faucets from the faucet maker, where needed. Highly recommend.

I replaced an old toilet that ran constantly with a new water saving toilet about two months ago. I did not do a very good job as the new toilet started to wobble fairly quickly. Jon fixed it for me. He came when scheduled. Called before coming over. Fixed the toilet quickly and now it is rock solid. He even showed me what I did wrong. He also talked my wife out of an unnecessary repair. The price was a little higher than I was expecting but still reasonable. I am very happy with the work performed and would use him again, If I use him for one of my rental properties I would insist on a more detailed (itemized) invoice. As this repair was for my primary residence the invoice I received was fine.
