The electrician was prompt, polite and upfront with his estimate. I was in a bind and not in a position to talk about the cost he was quoting. The quality of his work appeared to be excellent, however his quote seemed out of line with a small town in a rural area. It was basically labor and the charge came out to about $300 per hour, not including travel. On an annual basis this equates to about $600,000 per year. I expect to pay this kind of money in large urban areas, but not here in Asheville. I would certainly call upon him again, but I would need to be in a better position to bargin or at least get bids from other companies.

We called Jeff because we had had a dehumidifier installed to solve a damp crawlspace problem, and needed a proper outlet installed so the dehumidifier man could have his extension cord back. While he was here, we asked Jeff to troubleshoot two problematic ceiling fans and install several other light fixtures we'd been wanting. This took two visits; both times he came promptly, explained thoroughly what he proposed to do and why, and did it correctly on the first try. We expect to hire him again soon; we've had too many reminders that such reliability cannot be taken for graned.

Jeff did a beautiful job. At first I was a little surprised by the estimate, but after checking the price online of the Panasonic vent/light he provided, the cost was very reasonable. His work was beautifully done. He installed these fixtures on a popcorn ceiling (I know, I know.) He had to access our attic through our closet ceiling, also popcorn, and I never saw a speck of debris left behind. The ceiling fan works flawlessly, perfectly balanced, and the quality of the bathroom fixture he provided is top-notch. We will definitely call Power Plus the next time we're in need of any electrical work.

Jeff is an excellent worker that I would use again. Prompt, quiet, with good attention to detail. Power Plus has really fair pricing. They stick to the estimate, and they consult you when something varies from the quote.. Recommended highly.

I called Jeff to fix the nonworking GFCI circuit and he discovered the underpowered cooktop circuit while working on the GFCI. We scheduled a second visit to rewire the cooktop. He arrived on time, was courteous and professional, and cleaned up after himself. I have used him for 10 years and have always found him to be reliable and honest.

Either calling or using internet to set up an appt. is a breeze. Jeff always is on time or early, and calls ahead to let you know he is on his way. On the rare chance he is running a bit late, he calls too. Brought along an apprentice, and job was done in about an hour.We had originally asked for 2 fixtures, but on the day of the work, asked for a third, and Jeff went to Lowes to pick up the third on the way to our home. We have used his services at least 7 times in our Weaverville home over the years, and have always been pleased with the results. As another member wrote, when Jeff leaves, you don't have to worry about clutter/dirt/clean up...it is all done!

I've used Power Plus a number of times before at our home in Weaverville, always with excellent results. Jeff is highly expert, his company's communications are excellent and when the work is done, you'd never know he'd been there.

He is very good at what he does. He gives a one year warranty on his work. He is very professional. He comes and looks at things and gives you an estimate before he starts the work.

The whole process from getting the estimate to scheduling the work to having the work completed was incredibly easy and done exactly as promised. And the price was quite reasonable.

After making several calls to electricians we finally tried Power Plus. What a change of response. Our work was scheduled immediately and done on time and on schedule. Beyond that, dealing with Jeff Cox is a pleasure. He is a delightful guy who clearly cares about your needs and does quality work. It would seem that the quality of work was of high quality and I feel the price was quite fair. Jeff did not rush. He attended to all the details and did a complete clean-up. We also wanted to install a new TV and sound system. Jeff immediately recognized problems with the equipment we had purchased and we were able to return our poor choices and get exactly what we needed and wanted. The advice was quite good. I would recommend Jeff Cox and Power Plus without reservation.

We called on a Wednesday, and he was able to do what we wanted on Friday morning. He arrived on time and, as promised, called when he was on his way. He was here about 3 1/2 hours. While he did tell us what the cost would be up front, so I can only fault myself for telling him to go ahead, after talking to other people, including contractors, I think it's fair to say that the charge was outrageous. That is to say, we were charged about $200 an hour. For that reason, and that reason alone, I would never again use him and would not recommend him.

Power Plus arived for an estimate on time and when the work was scheduled they were there on time, did the work quickly and efficiently, clenad everything up and even provided a warranty for their work. This was the second time I have used them and I was equally pleased with my first encounter. I will use them again the next time I need electrical work.

He did the work in less than two hours. It looks great and works great. You could never tell those outlets were not always there.

The worked turned out very well. I am quite pleased with the work and with the owner of Power Plus. Everything was top notch. Since then, I have had him come back for a different electrical problem and he was able to correct that as well.

Overall, the service was excellent. I would use them for any electrical job I need in the future. I believe Jeff Cox assisted me and was very professional and nice. They were quick, honest, and I just can't say enough good things about them! The price seemed more than reasonable and I was pleased with it; it was considerably less than other estimates I received.

It was very good. Two of them came out the same day we called them. We were able to get the stove the following day. They cleaned up after themselves. We were very pleased and happy with them.

I've used Jeff at PowerPlus many times over the past 5 years for various types of electrical work (I have an older home) and he has always done a great job. He is very professional, very neat, does the work efficiently and effectively (everything works after he is done), quotes the price up front (varies by the job), and shows up on time (or calls if he is running a few minutes late). I've scheduled him to come out the same day (when a ceiling fan fell out of the ceiling on) and scheduled several weeks out when it was not an emergency. He is always willing to work around my schedule to minimize how much time I have to take off work. The company always calls a day or so after to make sure I am satisfied and everything is working to my satisfaction.

I was very pleased with their work. In fact when I was doing some remodeling on my house they were the ones that referred me to all of the other companies that I used. I really liked them and they worked really well with the other companies. I would recommend them. This is not the first time I have used them, I've used them several times. He is a little expensive, but he does a great job and it is worth the extra dollars.

We scheduled it about two weeks ahead of time and received a confirmation call two days ahead of time. We were told they would arrive within a 1:00--2:00 window. About 12:45 they called to inform us they were running a little late and would be there about 1:30. When is the last time you got an apology from a service technician for arriving in the middle of a promised one-hour window? After evaluating the scope of the task, Jeff gave me a firm $ estimate. After I gave the OK, they hauled their tools and ladder up a level to our kitchen (several trips) and put down a canvas to catch dust etc. They did the work as agreed to and cleaned up after themselves afterwards. The remote control for the fan took 4 AAA batteries. When I discovered we had only two AAAs so they provided four out of their own supply. Jeff and Jon were courteous from arrival to departure.

They came when promised and did the work in about an hour.

I called several companies when the tree took out the electrical supply to the house and ruined the weatherhead, etc. PowerPlus responded promptly and helpfully in the emergency. The work was done on time. Dealing with the workers was straight-forward and easy. Replies and negotiations were honest and direct. The charge was what we agreed in advance according to a standard charge. The work was expert and ahead of schedule. Though the price was higher than some would have charged, I would use the company again. One of the benefits was that the worker (whose name I have forgotten!) called and scheduled the power company to reconnect the line, got the work inspected by the county late on Saturday PM, and called twice after to make sure the work was finished as promised and to inquire about satisfaction.
