We made an appointment on the phone - then had to change the date. Power Plus was very accommodating and we had an appointment for the same time the next day. The technician called on his way to our home and arrived promptly. We walked through the house and I showed him the three items to be worked on. We had provided the replacement lamps - basically the same lights that being replaced along with the required bulbs. We agreed on the installation price and the work proceeded. It was completed in a timely manner and any necessary clean-up was done as the job progressed. All the work done to our complete satisfaction. We have used Power Plus before based on a recommendation and we would also recommend the company.

Perfectly! The office responded promptly, made an appointment soon, and kept me informed on when workers would actually show up. Jeff explained our options and made sure we were all in agreement about exactly what was to be done, then did it promptly, efficiently, with excellent workmanship, and left the work sites immaculate. Prices were a shade higher than I might have hoped, but we didn't consider using anybody else because Jeff has worked for us before and we were so impressed with him and his work that we figure he's worth it. Next time we have a job to be done, we'll call him again!

I contacted Power Plus as they were recommended and I have been exceptionally pleased with the entire company. A person answers the phone and works with your schedule to have them do the job. They confirm the appointment the day before and call when they are on their way. Jeff Cox is extremely knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. He is on-time and does not waste time while working. He installed a motion detection light and surge protector. Another time he coordinated his schedule with a roofer to install an attic fan on a high, steep pitched roof. My husband is a mechanical/electrical engineer and he was extremely impressed with the quality of the work. We highly recommend this company.

Quick response. Called on Friday, scheduled for following Monday. Showed up on time. Work was well done. It was a little pricey, but the cost was quoted up front so there were no surprises.

Jeff and his helper Andrew came out exactly when scheduled. Jeff quickly found what had gone wrong with our DIY installation of a new light switch and light fixture where we'd fried the circuit breaker. This is a great example of how supposedly simple things have the potential to go horribly wrong when you're dealing with electricity. We're upgrading things in a recently purchased 1973 condo in which, unbeknownst to us, there were numerous code violations. We could have burned the building down because we didn't know that every fixture, outlet and light switch has to have an electrical box to prevent overheated wires from causing fires in the walls. Too many wires were coming into the back of the light switches which was very confusing to a non-electrician and is how we fried the breaker. Jeff replaced four light switches in both bathrooms and put in GFCI outlets, adding boxes where necessary. Andrew took down the new bathroom light fixture we'd just installed that didn't have a box behind it, put in a box and reinstalled the fixture. They checked the light fixture in the other bathroom to be sure it had a box. They put GFCI outlets in the bathrooms and kitchen and fixed a problem with a kitchen circuit which wouldn't run a microwave and toaster oven at the same time. When I asked about replacing the rest of the outlets and switches Jeff said he thought the rest should be fine, that the problems were just in the kitchen and bathrooms. I appreciated that because we were so nervous at that point about doing anything else we would have gladly had him replace every one. Jeff and Andrew are great to work with. We didn't have time to get estimates for the job so have no idea what anyone else would have charged but what we paid seemed very fair for the amount of time that went into the job plus the all the parts. We had priced GFCI outlets at Lowe's the day before and they were in the $20+ range, so three of those alone would have been $60.00+. Add all the boxes and the $35 circuit breaker and we had well over $100 in parts alone. We will definitely call Jeff with any other electrical problems. Just like driving on bad tires is false economy, so is trying to do most electrical jobs yourself if you don't really know what you're doing. And sometimes people think they know what they're doing when they don't!

A little spendy but admittedly I don't really know what these jobs typically cost. This was one of the few (reputable) electricians that was willing to come to my area and make a separate trip for a free estimate. Matt came out and did the actual work and was prompt and appropriate. Everything is working very well. No wobbles from the ceiling fan like I was worried about. Hauled off our old fan for us. Will use again for future work.

Called and set the appointment with office. I think it was Louise, not 100%, couldn't find my notes. I explained what needed to be done and setup a time for Jeff to come out, review what needed to be done and quote a final price. I received a phone call verifying the appointment the day before. Then in the afternoon, I was contacted again stating that Jeff was running ahead of schedule and confirming if it was alright for him to come by earlier, which I was great. Jeff and his apprentice Nathan showed up, dressed professionally wearing name tags in a van branded with company information. We talked about what needed to be done, Jeff verified I had adequate capacity in my panel then quoted me $295.00 to install the circuit. That included the circuit breaker, wire, receptacle, and conduit. I authorized the work and they got started. It only took them about 30 minutes to complete the work. They verified that the polarity and voltage were correct before considering the work complete. They cleaned up the work site and didn't leave any refuse, which I always consider awesome. I'm pretty easy to satisfy when doing service work for me. 1. Show up when you say you're going to show up, 2. Do the work correctly, 3. Clean up when you're done. Jeff did all three, so I'm very happy with the work. I also talked to him about doing maintenance on my generator, which he quoted and I have scheduled to be done this week. I recommend Jeff and Power Plus.

Very well! He's very efficient, works the whole time, usually works alone. He's prompt and hardworking. He also keeps you informed.

Jeff Cox is very professional, quick and really knows what he is doing. His speedy diagnosis and repair of the problem was superior to any other electrician I have used in the past. You really get your moneys worth. I will use him again and refer him to friends.

Installed a new outside light and moved an outside power receptacle.

Jeff and Nathan shortly after the appointed time. They are both very professional and went about their jobs efficiently. They took about two hours to complete the job. They took special care not to make any kind of mess and the little that there was, was completely cleaned up. That evening it was discovered that the pool timer was not working properly. I made a call the next day and Jeff said he would come the following day to make the fix. He did so with and apology for the inconvenience. This was a great experience and would surely call them again for any electrical needs.

Super service all around! Jeff called when he was on his way to let me know they would be arriving soon. They were very thorough, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire process. I am looking forward to working with Power Plus again in the future for upgrades and repairs.

Installation was quick and efficient. They laid down dropcloths and went to work. In less than two hours, they installed four ceiling lamps, wired them for a double switches, removed their ladders and tools, cleaned up and left. They had the latest tools for a quick and clean job. Nothing was required of us but to indicate the location of the lamps and switches.

Mr Cox walked off the job because he said he couldn't do it, he was more suited to small electrical jobs. Does anyone know a good electrician in this town because I have used 2 now and spent over 21,650 and still I have sockets that don't world!!!

I could sing praises for Power Plus Electrical Service from now until the end of days! As a relative newcomer to the Asheville area, finding quality service providers can be a challenging and costly adventure. But I am thrilled to report that I have found myself the perfect electrician. From scheduling with Carol in the office, to the writing of the check, I had a smile on my face the entire time. The morning of my appointment, Jeff called me before arriving to make sure I was ready for him. Upon arrival, he assessed the work to be done and presented me with a written estimate. After I approved the amount, he and his apprentice got right to work. The work was done quietly, quickly, and professionally. All areas were protected with drop cloths and then cleaned thoroughly after the work was completed. Leave no trace....and they didn't! As a person who has observed a steady decline in quality and professionalism in the service sector, I can say without hesitation that Power Plus is reminiscent of days gone by when pride was still taken in one's work. How refreshing to have found a service provider who continues to maintain these wonderful qualities. I RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY!

They seem to be very competent. The price is not cheap. They did an excellent job. They were clean and efficient with the service. They seem to be very reliable and prompt. They had quick response.

I called Power Plus to install an electrical outlet. I set the appointment and the employee (owner) arrived promptly. The outlet was install and everything was cleaned up afterward. I am happy with everything however, the price seemed very expensive for the job. $200.00 to install an outlet, maybe this is the going rate.
