CC'S DESIGNER CONCRETE

I have taken on many home projects. The project we contracted with Chris and Belinda is by far the most enjoyable to date. They are extremely professional, prompt and pay incredible attention to detail. Chris kept us posted every step along the way of the project and explained the process from day-to-day. Everyone who has seen the completed patio swears it's the most beautiful they've ever seen. It looks exactly like travertine marble. People are shocked when we tell them it's stamped concrete. You will not be disappointed with this company! I was sad to see them go when the job was complete.

Chris, the owner of CC's Designer Concrete, was easy to contract, I left message at his office and he called me back that evening, for an immediate response all you need to do is call his cell number. He and his partner Belinda came by the house a couple of days later to quote the job. They took their time to answer all our questions and fully explain the process they would use to create our new patio. They brought several books of photos to showcase their previous projects and to give help us with the selection process. They also provided us with a list of previous customers and encouraged us to call them. A couple of days later and after some slight negotiation on price we contracted with Chris to perform the work and they were able to schedule the work to start in less than three weeks. Chris, Belinda and their team showed up around 6:00 AM on the morning they started the job and did some prep work before starting the jackhammer to break up my existing patio at 7:00 AM. Work went smoothly except for the discovery that a large portion of my existing patio was 8" thick instead of the 4" that was expected. That slowed things down a little but by the end of the day the area for the new patio was prepped and ready for fresh concrete. During this time they also removed the cracked concrete in my driveway and prepped it for pouring the new concrete. Day two started around 6:00 AM again and consisted of pouring the concrete for the new patio and the driveway extensions. Once the concrete started to set Chris and his team moved on stamping the concrete and applying the base coat of stain. Chris and Belinda finished the job on day three, applying the two individual accent stain colors and the antiquing stain. We are very pleased with the end results and Chris and Belinda were a pleasure to work with. Chris and his crew took extra care to make sure they minimized the damage to my lawn and did a great job of cleaning up when the job was completed. We are very pleased with our new patio and would recommend CC's Designer Concrete to anyone looking for a stunning new patio.

The owner is great to work with. Very communicative and I would use this service. We haven't decided between concrete or a paver patio, however if I do choose stamped concrete, CC's is my first choice.

From the first time that I contacted Chris, it was a pleasurable experience. He is a craftsman. He was generous with his time and energy towards our project. We talked over a few week period and tried to get to work together. However Mother-Nature kept him at bay. He explained to me that he could do the job whenever I wanted it done. (The customer is always right). I deferred that response back to him and said, I don't know much about concrete and that's why I hired you Chris. In the end, waiting was the best option. He knows his craft and it shows. His crew was polite, efficient and smooth. My children loved the opportunity to sit and watch them work and they were happy to give them a show. I was amazed at how fast Chris and his crew worked but how meticulous they were to the details too. Again, craftsmanship. Thank you Chris and your whole team. Job better than well done, FANTASTIC!!!! Chris and his crew arrived bright and early on time Saturday. They immediately got to work breaking up the old slab. In about 2 hours or so the old slab was gone. The guys immediately started to prep the area for the new concrete. Chris called for the concrete and when it arrived wasted no time in pouring it. After the all of the concrete was poured, Chris and his crew began stamping the pattern into the concrete. We had chosen the Ashlar Slate pattern. Once all of the concrete had been stamped, Chris applied the colorant. We selected Slate Gray. At this point there was nothing else that could be accomplished, so the guys cleaned up the site and headed out after 8 hours of solid continuos work. Chris returned the next day, bright and early and on time again. After a little touching up of the edges and pattern with a chisel he was ready to apply the antiquing. We chose Deep Charcoal. After the antiquing dried, Chris applied the first of 2 seal coats. The second seal coat went down after the first had dried and the final cleanup began. Chris and his crew were meticulous both days in their cleanup. The place looked as good after they left as when they arrived. This has been a wonderful, headache free experience with Chris and his crew. Chris impressed me right from the beginning by emailing me a copy of his liability insurance without my having to ask for it. I actually had the email before he came to the house to give me a written estimate. Chris and his wife Belinda were so polite and so thorough in explaining the job and what the process was. Both of their personalities helped convince me that Chris was the man for the job. I had 2 other estimates which were all close to each other in price but I went with Chris because I had a good, warm fuzzy feeling about him and did not doubt that I would get good honest work and pride in a job well done. Chris did not disappoint! I have already shown him some more work that I want to do and told Chris he is number one on a list of one! I will also be mentioning Chris to anyone that asks if I know a good concrete guy. Chris is the best!

Very professional with a highly competent crew. He ran into unexpected problems but handled them without complaint and didn't ask for any additional money from the contracted price.

Started promptly each morning (3 days) and met each day's milestones. Removal is gravel and pouring of new concrete went exactly as promised, and the finished product is exceptional. Resurfacing of existing concrete made everything look brand new. Chris Coffey listened well to our project plan and made smart suggestions for changes to produce a final look better than we had hoped. He knows his business well, works hard, and gives a great result for a fair price. Highly recommended!

During my first conversation with Chris, once I told him what I wanted, the first thing he wanted to make sure was in my hands was his proof of insurance, which I thought was awesome. Chris and Belinda showed up at the time we arranged and Chris examined my old frankenstein patio and listened to what I was envisioning for my outdoor space. Belinda showed me pictures of their past work and gave me a sheet of references and the colors I could choose while Chris went to work measuring. I was quoted for a 32'x17' which essentially doubled my patio size and we scheduled the work for the next week. Chris and his crew showed up on time, and got right to work with the demo. They covered up the bottom 4' of my house with sheeting to keep the dust from coating my house. Demo was done in one day, concrete pured and stamped the second, and coloring and sealant done on the third. I couldn't be more pleased and I am loving my new patio. Any concrete work that I need done in the future, I will be using Chris and his crew.

Chris called several times to explain when he was coming to work and what he would be doing. Chris and his crew were always on time. His crew was very friendly. The garage doors were covered to protect them during the work. The finished work is perfect. Clean up was very good. CC Concrete has all of the equipment to handle any job, large or small.

The first thing that you'll notice about Chris is that he is very customer service oriented. Through the entire process Chris lets you know that he is there to serve you, whatever makes you happy, he's going to take care of you. He is also very punctual; when he tells you he's going to be there at a certain time, he's most likely going to be a few minutes early. We knew exactly what we wanted and I had measured out our old pad and marked off/measured where we wanted the new pad. In talking with Chris over the phone the first time, I knew we were going to use him. He explained what our options were and gave us a high-level estimate. From there, he came out and validated my measurements and finalized the estimate. I will say that his estimate was considerably less than his competitors. The first day of the project, Chris arrived with his crew to remove the old patio. He took the time to introduce everyone on his crew personally (very professional.) They had the old patio removed, all excess soil was removed, and had the forms in place for the concrete pour the next day. The second day, the concrete was poured and stamped. The final day, the color-wash and antiquing was performed, then sealed. The entire process went flawlessly.

CC's was wonderful to work with!! The were incredibly responsive and did a wonderful job installing a new walkway. After the job was completed...you could not even tell that work had been done...they were that careful of our yard and bushes. I highly recommend CC's!!

The project went very well and we would not hesitate to recommend CC's to family or friends or use them again.

Chris and his team were very professional. He showed up when he said he would to give an estimate. Described in detail what will happen. Provided reference contact list. Scheduled the work. Chris and team showed up as promised - on a Saturday at 6:45am! Service was excellent and new apron is beautiful! Would highly recommend Chris and his team. I will use him again in the future!

I phoned Chris and he came out the same day. He actually talked me out of the project because he said that it would be expensive. He gave me several numbers of other professionals. After speaking with them we realized that everything he said was accurate. He is an honest man. He knows his concrete. When we do the project or any other issues I will use his company

Chris spent a great deal of time intially in the rain when he gave us our quote and we mentioned a spot where we had standing water and the other issues. He and his crew came about 6:30 a.m. and used a bobcat and jackhamer to take out the old driveway. He then added more rock to level out spots and not to use so much concrete. He was able to poor the back walk, the front walk and the driveway by the garage door. The next day he came back again at 6:30 a.m. and finished pooring the rest. He added more crack lines. They were very good about cleaning everything up. The driveway looks great.

The project went very well. Chris explained in detail what he would be doing, and before each of the key steps he would discuss with me what to do, so there were no surprises. They also cleaned up well after everything was done. The end result was excellent. The patio looked beautiful and one of my friend though it was real stone! :) The price was fair and the work was excellent. I would definitely recommend Chris to anyone who needs concrete work.

The crew came exactly when they said they would, and they literally worked from start to finish. I couldn't have been more impressed with how they handle their business.

We were happy with this company. We've used others in the past and have been the most content with this company. When I had a few spots I wanted him to fix he was very prompt to come and fix it.

Chris & his partner were very polite and friendly, I requested some changes to the layout which they carried out, they arrived when they said they would, completed the work in a day - everything was performed as they said it would be. A really good job and nice people to deal with.

On the morning that the concrete was to be poured, the contractor informed me that he expected to be paid later that day. When I said that I was not comfortable with this because the concrete would not have had sufficient time to cure by the time he wanted payment, the contractor became agitated. When I offered the contractor half that day and the other half after the 3-day cure period so I could drive my car on the driveway extension and make sure that it was ok, the contractor insisted on full payment that day and said that he never would have taken the job if he had known he would not receive payment on the date the concrete was poured. He said he didn't have the working capital to wait 3 days for payment. This seemed odd to me for such an experienced contractor and led me to believe that the contractor's warranty was not worth as much as I had hoped because of any financial distress that he may be suffering. I agreed to pay the contractor after returning home from work that day, but when I was leaving for work and while he still was smoothing the just-poured concrete, the contractor asked me for payment then and there. I paid him because I feared that he wouldn't do the right job if I did not do so. It seems to me that the contractor power-washed first and then poured concrete so as to receive payment on the pour date. If he had power-washed after the pour, he would have had to wait until the 4th day after the pour date to power-wash and this would have delayed his receipt of payment. However, sequencing the work in the other order (pour first, then power-wash) makes more sense to me because of the little bit of mess that results from pouring concrete, which the contractor seems to have cleaned up anway. I will say that the contractor seemed knowledgeable and was diligent about shape, grade and slope of the driveway extension. He did not lay gravel or another base layer under the extension but, rather, poured directly over the clay-like soil, with plastic sheeting as a moisture barrier. The overall quality of the work and the finished product seemed good to me, but yesterday (the third day after the concrete was poured), the contractor arrived to remove his safety cones and suggested that I mist the concrete with water from our hose. He departed, and I misted immediately. When I did, a small hairline crack appeared in the concrete. The contractor said, when I called him, that this happens sometimes, that nothing can be done about it (it's too small a crack into which to inject filler) and that it should not worsen. I hope he is right about this crack and that additional cracks do not develop. It is now only four days after the concrete was poured, so there may be future developments. However, I wanted to submit this report quickly.

I was disappointed in them. Somebody damaged my driveway and they found out that they were taking that person to the Better Business Bureau because they had used a coat aerator. As soon as he found out that I was taking someone to the Better Business Bureau, he said I don?t want to work for you. If he does not live up to the standards of the Better Business Bureau establishes, then I don?t want to use them either. I have never been turned down by a service professional before and I did not like it and I would certainly rate them very poorly.

Fantastic. Chris called and kept in contact continuously to schedule around the bad weather. On the agreed date, they were on the job ahead of schedule and worked until days end until the job was complete through clean-up, two days later. The owner was on site at all times working right along with his crew. The end product is more than what was expected and very beautiful. They are very skilled. I assure that you will be more than pleased with CC Designer Concrete.

Great from estimate to clean-up. The job was great, better than I had originally. I would highly recommend Chris and his crew. They knew what they were doing and were super courteous to boot. I know I made the best choice and I hope you do too.

The crew arrived before 7AM and started removing concrete at 7:00. They worked hard, removed all the debris, cleaned carefully, and were completely finished by 2:30PM. At the first rain, we were delighted to no longer have broken concrete puddles on the driveway!

They were absolutely excellent. They were good people. You won't have any problems.
