Chuck responded to the inquiry promptly. He worked around my schedule for the initial visit. His estimate was promptly submitted. HIS PRICE WAS BETTER THAN ALL OTHErs. The glass was ordered and arrived on time. Chuck installed the new windows ahead of schedule -again accommodating my schedule. Chuck even returned sevarl days lol lowing installation to ensure the window seals were not affected by massive rainstorms. I plan on having Chuck replace the other windows in the sunroom.

He was very professional and the work was completed in a timely manner. He also offered a better price compared to other companies in the area.

Chuck sent me a message the glass was in and we arranged a time for installation. He arrived promptly and completed the work.He did not leave any debris behind from the project. The work was estimated and completed in less than a week which was very important to me. After Chuck completed the glass replacement we asked him to give us a quote on additional work. He was very pleasant.

Chuck came out to the house to view the work we wanted done and seemed very knowledgeable about windows and what may be causing our downstairs window to leak. He thought the culprit was our upstairs window directly over top the window that was leaking. He said he could not replace the rollers on our patio door because we were unable to find out who the manufacturer was. Since the door was almost impossible to slide, we decided to get it replaced too. And he said he could replace the upper pane of our little kitchen window very easily. It had lost its seal and was cloudy. We agreed to have him perform the work after getting estimates from other contractors. His bid was the lowest. After paying him 1/2 the cost upfront, he ordered the windows and we waited for them to come in. About a week later, the windows arrived at our home but one of the windows was not designed to match our current windows so we called Chuck to see what he was going to do about it. He wanted to come out and install everything anyway and then when the correct panes came in, all he would have to do was slide them in. We did not want him to install an incorrect window, so we said no, we would wait until the correct window came in. He wasn't happy about that and tried to question our decision. We remained firm. When the correct window did come in I don't know because he never called me. We had to call him about a week later to ask if it had come in. He said yes and we set up an installation date. I told him I was not a morning person and asked that he come around 10 or 11 or later, whatever was convenient for him. He insisted that the only time he could come was at 7 in the morning in order to avoid traffic. I felt like he was more concerned for his convenience than me, his customer. I gave in and let him come at 7 on the specified day. He replaced the half window in the kitchen with no problem. The upstairs window seems to be installed correctly but he left a mess all over the wood framing the window. Handprints, dirty finger marks and a big gouge in the window sill. The patio sliding glass door, once in place was about 1 1/2 inches short of what had been in there before. I don't know if he measured wrong or if the framework for this glass door was less wide than the previous one, but we were left with a space that was a gap big enough for me to see the outside air when looking from the inside to the outside. I asked what he was going to do with the space and asked where the insulation was from the old window and he didn't give me a clear answer and seemed to not want to discuss the problem. He ended up putting three small wedges of wood or some type similar material on the side where the gap was. That is what he nailed the window to. There was still empty space in between the wedges and again I inquired about the insulation that had surrounded the old door. I guess he threw it out. He ended up putting wood trim over the gap (with no insulation) on both sides of the door, both inside and outside. Then he caulked the remaining gap closed. Before he left I saw that he had dented the wood trim that goes around the entire door in two places, plus he took two chunks out of my laminate flooring next to the door. I pointed out the flooring to him and he didn't offer to repair it so I suggested he run a strip of clear caulk across the bottom of the door, which he did. But the floor still looks awful and the dents in the trimwork will never come out. He left all windows uncleaned after installation and debris all over the patio and inside my garage. He did vacuum up the mess inside the house before he left, but didn't do anything with the garage or patio. I had to get the blower out to clean up his mess. I also noticed that when he was caulking the top of the patio door, he stood on my vinyl mesh patio chair rather than getting his ladder out and using that. All in all I thought his work to be very unprofessional, especially with the patio sliding glass door. I think he knows windows a little better than sliding glass doors. The day after installation, I went out and some of the caulk around the outside of the sliding glass door had already caved in. (Because there was just air behind it. He didn't put a solid piece of wood to take up the extra space.) My husband is going to try to repair both the floor and the caulking and perhaps get some insulation to spray into the side where there is just empty space. I am sorry I hired this contractor and will never do so again. He was messy, unprofessional in his work, and did not take care with not damaging my home.

Chuck responded to my initial inquiry within 24 hours and scheduled an in-house consultation within 2 days. He showed up on time and did a thorough job of looking at the original windows that needed work and then on our request, he analyzed all the windows in our house and told us which needed replacing and which ones were ok. What impressed us the most was knowledge about fixing the windows and providing alternatives for us to manage towards a budget. We ended up replacing roughly half window panes in our house. For the first time in years we do not feel drafts when near the window and our house is holding temperatures all day much more consistently. We will eventually replace the other window panes in our house and will use Chuck again.

He was extremely punctual, professional and left no mess to clean up. His charges were very reasonable, and I was happy he could replace sections of window without doing an entire replacement. I would hire him again without a second thought. The entire process was extremely pleasant.

Some problems with broken glass from glass company/manufacturer, wrong window measurements and Chuck being gone for a week, that caused a delay. All in all, pleased.

Chuck went well beyond what I would have expected him to do in order to work around my schedule. I told him that I normally leave for work by 6:30 AM and asked for an early morning appointment, he said 'how about 6:00 AM?'. He was there on time to measure the windows, gave me a price that seemed reasonable, ordered the insulated glass units, and then he sent me a text message when the glass arrived to schedule installation. On the day of the installation, Chuck also accommodated my schedule by starting work at 6:00 AM. I'm pleased with the work that Chuck did and with the price that he charged. I expect to call him again in the future.

Chuck was very quick to come out and give an estimate. He knew exactly what I needed and I could tell that he had lots of experience and knew what he was doing. He came on the day we agreed on and was finished right on time and did a great job with all the repairs. Chuck was very nice and thorough and I would hire him again without hesitation.

Chuck and his helper were fantastic! They arrived at 6:30 a.m. as Chuck said they would. They removed the window quickly, installed the new one, painted the sash and were packed up and out of here by 8 a.m. Only 1 1/2 hours up on high ladders to complete this job. I was amazed and very thrilled to have my new window. Chuck is a really nice man and also very punctual. The bill for his services was quite reasonable and matched the estimate he had given me. The window looks great and no mess was left behind. He also stands by his workmanship so I have no doubt that he will return if any problem arises. He also came all the way from Troutman to Matthews for this job for which I am very grateful. I found Chuck on Angie's List and was impressed by all of his positive reviews. From reading those I knew I wanted him for my window replacement. However, I was even more impressed by the man himself when we met. He is very nice, knowledgeable, confident and has done much window work. You will not find a better person to fix your window needs.

Thank goodness for Chuck! I had a 7" crack in a window of a rental property. The property is a Pulte town home built around 1999 and I had no idea where to turn. It seemed like most glass companies wanted to replace the whole window which would have likely cost over $300. Chuck was able to measure and order new glass without needing to replace the whole window. I don't know of many people who are able or are willing to do this. I was so thankful for the cost savings that I was happy to work around his schedule (it's a long way from Troutman to south Charlotte.) Plus he is a super nice guy. Thanks again Chuck!

The kitchen window is the one saving grace that allows airflow through the family room during the Spring and Fall, which cuts down on cooling costs. So I use it regularly. The pulley broke just at the onset of the AC season. The broken pulley prevented the window from closing properly and allowed leakage of my precious air conditioned air in 100 degree weather. So it needed to be repaired fast. I corresponded with Chuck (really nice guy) and sent him detailed photos of the broken window via Angie's List messaging. He was very responsive. He explained his services and gave a reasonable estimate and an accurate timeframe. Once we scheduled, it took him maybe thirty minutes for the entire repair and it was less than his minimum quote. He was punctual, courteous, neat, thorough and professional. He replaced the hardware on both sides even though only one was broken. Others would have bet on repeat business. He even allowed me to clean the exterior of the window, ~ since it pops out (who knew) ~ as it is difficult to reach situated in front of a large holly bush, while he did the repair. Popped it out and put it on the kitchen floor for me. I am very pleased with his services and highly recommend him. Had I known him earlier, he would have saved me over $1500.00 for total window replacement costs. If you have a window issue, call Chuck first.

excellent, I needed this service done very quickly. Most of the other companies I spoke to needed 10 to 14 days to do this service and charged double the price that Chuck was charging. Some of the companies wanted more than that. The only problem we had was that Chuck had trouble with his cell phone during the waiting period. This was not his fault and did not cause any delay in getting our window repaired. He also performed some minor services that he did not have to do. He worked with our tenant to get the glass repaired.I would definity be using Chuck in the future if I need this type of service again.

Chuck was quick to respond, very personable and very knowledgeable. He ordered the glass and had all three windows repaired within an hour. I appreciated his thoroughness and how quickly everything was completed.

Chuck was punctual, professional and did the job as stated. It was a small job that probably was more of an inconvenience than a profitable endeavor but Chuck treated it as a professional and worked with me on scheduling. The windows are like new and the job was completed very well. I would recommend Chuck to anyone and would use this company again.

I called Chuck yesterday and he said he could come by the very next day. Chuck arrived on time and introduced himself. I showed him which windows did not work and he immediately began to work. He efficiently corrected each window. he really knows what he is doing. It took him no time at all. When I went to pay him I realize he also did other work. I am hiring him to do some general home repairs. I have recommended him to my friends. Chuck was great to work with and would highly recommend him.

I contacted this Company after seeing universal "A" grades on Angie's List, and seeing that they were located close to my area. Chuck, the owner, responded very quickly, and came to my house within a day or two to see the scope of repairs and had an estimate to me the next day. He explained that the window glass would take 3-4 days to receive, and doors would take 2 weeks. One week later he contacted me and was ready to do the job. All the windows were replaced on Saturday, came back Monday and did both doors. Quality of work, cleanup, responsiveness, pricing, were all excellent. On top of that, a genuinely nice guy. We had a hard time scheduling the install due to my work schedule and the distance Chuck had to travel, which made scheduling an evening or weekend appointment difficult, but we were finally able to make it work. Chuck was able to get the measurements and pick up the glass without my being there which was very convenient for me.

Chuck was very responsive and went out of his way to help. My home was technically outside of his service area but he had another job in the area and responded quickly. Very easy to deal with, very knowledgeable, great quality work, dependable and user friendly! Would definitely use Chuck again.

I was in a time crunch to get the work done, and Chuck was very responsive in coming out to give me a quote. Before hiring Chuck, I did get a quote from another service provider, and the cost was very comparable. However, Chuck's responsiveness, honesty, and integrity impressed me more so I selected him to do the work. I mailed him a check for the deposit so he could order the replacement glass. As soon as it came in, he contacted me to schedule a time for installation. He showed up on time, got the work done as expected and overall did an excellent job. Unfortunately, the glass in one of the patio doors shattered as he was removing it, but due to the age of the doors and the brittle glass, it was not surprising. He did a good job cleaning up the glass that shattered in the house. We found a couple of large pieces of glass on the outdoors patio after he left, but that was not a big deal and just swept that up. Overall, we were very pleased with Chuck and would definitely hire him again. He is busy but does excellent work at a fair price.
