It went very well. I was pleasantly surprised when the crew showed up on the date and time they said they would. They were neatly dressed and very professional.

We were recently selling our home and had several issues with the roof and windows to address. Several vapor seals and several tension systems needed replacing on 4 windows. Most, window vendors wanted to do full replacements ($$$$) or deemed the job too small for a call back. Chuck was very responsive and very thorough in investigating and pricing the repairs. None of the windows in the inspection needed full replacement as others had told us. After ordering the parts for repair (about 2 weeks). Chuck got the work done in an hour. Chuck is our "window guy" and will be for a long time.

Our back door was leaking water. Door and the jam were repaired and the leaking resolved!

I left a message for Chuck at Windows and General Home Repair, I got his name a year ago from a fellow realtor and he helped one of my clients who was extremely happy with the service. Chuck called me back promptly and asked me to send him photos of the problem so he can evaluate the repair ahead of showing up. He also said he will come over the next morning. He sent me a text from the road saying he will be a few minutes EARLY. When he arrived he was already prepared to actually fix the problem. He was professional, curtious and fair in his pricing. I would use him again for sure and continue referring him to clients and friends.

The scheduling for the estimate and measuring, the ordering of the glass, and actual installation was all done timely and reasonably. Other glass companies in Charlotte seemed too busy and just didn’t want to bother with skylights. I’m sure they are not easy. Chuck had one helper with him and everything was done in a couple of hours. Highly recommend.

Chuck Morris was great to work with. Initially I had another vendor out to quote the window repair, I was told that our window manufacturer was no longer in business and he couldn't fix it. Thinking I had something difficult to deal with on my hands, I called Chuck because it appeared from his reviews that he's focused on fixing rather than just replacing windows so I thought he could handle it. I'm very glad that I did. I don't know what was going on with the first guy but this was an easy job for Chuck, which made it a stress-free repair for me. He was prompt, polite, professional, reasonable, and responsive to all forms of communication including phone, email and text message. I have glass in my cabinets, and my foggy window is gone. They look great!

Chuck is reliable, honest, and does great work. After realizing that my windows needed replacing (not repairing) Chuck helped me pick out what I needed. My old window company was acquired by another company and he helped me get a very close match. I like these windows even better than the old ones! Whether you need window repair or replacement, you won't find anyone better!

Chuck Morris (704-309-8566) was fair on the price. He came once to measure both panes and we gave him a deposit for the glass order. He returned when he said he would, brought an assistant and replaced both panes quickly. The glue chip glass he recommended for the front door looks just like the photo he sent us and it looks great. I will recommend him to friends.

Everything went great. Other companies will quote high prices to replace the entire window or set of windows. Chuck can replace just the glass and have it look like brand new for much less. I've already recommended him to neighbors.

Chuck was quick to respond to my initial email. The next day he came over to review the job and provide a quote. He provided some options and then allowed us to look at solutions in local home improvement stores. We arranged a date and he installed the doors and fixed the threshold.

Chuck returned my service call promptly and scheduled a time to come out and take measurements to order my glass. He arrived early and worked quickly for both appts and charged me exactly what he originally quoted (which was at least $100 cheaper than another glass company franchise in Charlotte). I was most appreciative of the fact that he came and completed the installation in time for me to drop my kids off and make it to work on time that morning.

Arrived early and ready to work... he was in and out in no time at all. I never should of put this work off. Hard to find a good carpenter to do small jobs. He was well prepared and came with all the necessary tools and when he left you wouldn't of even known he was here except I had a new window and doors.

Really nice guy - came on first visit to measure. Glass took 1-2 weeks to arrive. He brought a helper for the install - they were very efficient and cleaned up well afterwards. Chuck is very knowledgeable and dependable.
