I do window and door repair and replacement. I have 35 years experience in windows. Two man crew. I stress repair in the first line because that is adequate for many of my clients. Give me an opportunity to meet with you and evaluate your window needs. I will present you with varied options based on your needs and necessity. I want to do what’s right for you, not up sale you on windows you don’t really need.

Quick, clean and easy.
Description of Work: Chuck fixed our front door and replaced our exterior back door, both of which were leaking energy bad. All his time was spent working. No answering his phone or going out somewhere. He moved and replaced all the furniture and cleaned as he went. It's finally nice to find a reliable worker in Charlotte, all of my experiences till now have been bad but I will call Chuck back 1000% if I need him.

Description of Work: Horrible. Bottom line....Quality over quantity is not a focal strength for this company. Communication, 'professional acumen', and product and service integrity are all areas where the most opportunity for improvement reside. -It would be wiser to pay them to leave your property than to listen to frivolous threats while wasting time injecting fundamental rationale into an unsupported argument with a pontificating nail driver. I was left with 3 broken/cracked windows due to their 'craftsmanship' and a partial bill for services rendered for time and material. ---Enough said...There are opportunities in the market place that will provide a consumer with a bare minimum of at least a turtle neck's length more in delivering satisfactory servicing.

Description of Work: Chuck quickly responded to our request to fix a window that would open, but would not stay up. Chuck diagnosed the broken part and fabricated a part to fix the issue. His service and professionalism was excellent. I highly recommend Chuck Morris to others.

I feel lucky to have found Chuck. It is relatively easy to find someone who can do what you need to have done but not so easy to find someone who you can trust, someone with whom you can communicate and someone who follows through every time. Chuck was respectful, honest, and thorough. He showed up when he said he would, fixed what he said he was going to fix, did not leave any kind of mess, communicated all details of the job to me, kept all his commitments, and gave me a good price. I have hired a lot of repair men and he stands out among them all as having a lot of integrity, knowledge, and expertise. You can tell he really cares about the quality of his work.
Description of Work: Window repairs: broken seals, moving parts broken, and other small repairs. A door installation. Advised me on other items on inspector's report. Amount paid for work includes parts and labor.

CHUCK WAS PROMPT IN RETURNING CALLS AND SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT. HE OFFERED TO COME TO THE HOUSE ON A SATURDAY WHICH IS RARE THESE DAYS! CHUCK WAS PUNCTUAL, COURTEOUS, AND HANDLED THE REPAIR WITH EASE. HE DID A GREAT JOB AND OUR WINDOW OPENS AND CLOSES PROPERLY NOW. CHUCK ALSO CLEANED UP AFTER THE JOB AND TOOK THE OLD PART WITH HIM.
Description of Work: CHUCK INSTALLED A NEW SCISSOR ARM OPERATOR ON AN AWNING WINDOW, REPLACING ONE THAT HAD BROKEN. WE HAD ALREADY PURCHASED THE REPLACEMENT PART, SO THE PRICE WAS FOR LABOR ONLY.

HE WAS ON TIME FOR ALL APPOINTMENTS, AND WAS PLEASANT, BUT NOT OVERLY FRIENDLY (HE GOT DOWN TO BUSINESS, WHICH I LIKE). HIS APPEARANCE IS PROFESSIONAL AND I HAVE BEEN HAPPY TO REFER HIM TO OTHERS. HIS INITIAL QUOTE WAS $700, BUT AFTER THE WORK WAS DONE, HE REVISED THE COST TO $660 AS HE DID NOT USE AS MUCH MATERIAL AS HE ESTIMATED (HONEST!!).
Description of Work: CHUCK REPLACED ROTTEN WOOD AROUND WINDOWS AND REBUILT A WOODEN DOOR AND RAMP THAT HAD ROTTED ON OUR SHED. HE REPLACED WOOD WITH SOLID PVC TRIM TO DETER FUTURE ROT.
