Chuck responded quickly to my request for a quote and even arrived the next day to assess the work that needed to be done. Chuck is extremely professional and had a replacement window made up as mine was a non-standard installation. I generally communicated with Chuck via email and this proved very effective. The work was completed on-time and I'm extremely happy with the quality of the finished product. It's worth noting that Chuck even came back a week later to complete the painting to ensure that all caulking had time to set given the humidity.

Chuck came to the house very quickly to measure and provide an estimate. He is extremely fair, friendly and courteous, and very good at the work he provides. Our new window and the wood surrounding it looks perfect.In addition to his good window work, he also gave us some home safety tips that we implemented right away! We recommend Chuck highly for any window work and carpentry/home repair needs. He's the best!

We're new to the Charlotte area and recently purchased a home in Cornelius that needs lots of work. He responded quickly to an email I sent from Angie's List and a couple days later we had him out to the house for a bid. His experience building windows was very helpful with the type of repairs we needed, and I was impressed by his responsiveness and professionalism. He was flexible on timing and the work was done in one afternoon. The price was great too - In fact, I had to add two more windows to the the repair list and Chuck didn't charge me extra for the work. Very honest and fair. I grew up working in a family business, so I was also impressed when he brought his wife to help out and expedite the project. I'd definitely recommend using Chuck and his family business. Experiences like this make being new to an area that much better!

Chuck came out and took a look at the windows. He said that he had the parts at home and could fix easily. The day he came out to fix the windows I had gotten into a car accident before taking daughter to school and he called me to let me know he was at the house. I explained what had happened and we were waiting for the police officer to come to take the details of the accident. He was so understanding and patient in the midst of me being a nervous wreck. He said he would wait at the house for me until the police could come to take the details of the accident. I had my husband meet him at the house to get the windows repaired and I would highly recommend him. Thanks so much for being so understanding and patient in the midst of what was going on, Chuck !!! The Family Room is two story and these windows were at the top! Access was very difficult. Chuck and his helper did an excellent job removing the old and replacing the new. Our home was clean and the windows look great when they were done.

I was referred to Chuck by a family member who has used Chuck over-and-over again over the last ten years in his two homes. Chuck has done countless carpentry projects for him and has replaced both basic and large-decorative windows. Additionally, a few years back, Chuck was the hired contractor at my office where he re-did the entire office, added windows, added molding and wainscoting, and other functional and decorative details. When I needed a carpenter to build stairs for me, I immediately called Chuck. I learned he?s also a volunteer fire-fighter and a dedicated family man. He struck me as an honest to goodness hard working and dedicated guy. We showed Chuck a picture of what we wanted for our stairs, and he said ?no problem?. He first installed the footings needed, then the next day he came back with a partner and did the ENTIRE project in ONE day. The quality of work was exceptional. He cut each piece to fit perfectly, made sure it was stable and to code, and best of all, you cannot tell it?s an add-on. It looks like it belongs there! We are so pleased with our stairs and use it daily to let our dog out and when to go down to the backyard we have guests over to grill. I would absolutely hire Chuck again and he is the only carpenter I would recommend.

The buyer's inspector found 3 additional windows with broken seals. Chuck, having forgotten his work from the previous month, re-inspected the windows and found a total of 7 additional windows allegedly with broken seals. Chuck was under the impression that we would go ahead with the work, delaying the closing of the house by the 2 to 4 weeks required for replacement windows, or engage in an under-the-table transaction, violating the terms and conditions of the buyer's FHA mortgage. The buyer decided to not cancel or delay closing, and purchased the house without the windows. Personally I felt Chuck's professionalism and memory was lacking.

At first everything went very well. I called and Chuck came out and provided an estiamte (within two days even). IT was then very difficult to get back in touch with him to have him order the material and perfomr the install. I left numerous messages with no return calls. I finally reached him and he advised he would rush the material order. It was was then several weeks of me leaving him messages to get a scheduled date for the install. Once we got it scheduled he was prompt and performed the work on time.

We are extremely pleased with the work that Mr. Morris completed for us. From the free estimate he provided to the complete installation of our windows, Mr. Morris was always punctual, trustworthy and professional. We would definitely use him again and highly recommend him to everyone!

My house closing is in 11 days and the inspection report came in a few days ago. I needed to fix some wood rot around my front door and chimney in the back as well as reattach a trim piece that had come off the screened in porch. Chuck came out promptly and in no time flat took care of it and did a wonderful job at a fair price. He communicated quickly throughout the process and I would highly recommend him for any trim or window work you may need done. Very professional, timely, communicative, and quality work. All I could ask for!

Chuck was a pleasure to work with. He came within one day of calling and arrived promptly on time. He ordered the parts and then installed the following week. I was very pleased with his work and he seemed to know exactly what he was doing. I have another picture window that had wood rot at the bottom and he has ordered the parts to repair.

I was very pleased. It turned out to not be as complex and expensive project as I had feared. Mr. Morris was prompt and professional, and did a neat and tidy job.

When we first contacted Chuck through Angie's list, he returned our call within 24 hours. He set up a date to look at the windows and arrived when he said he would. He took the time to properly examine the issue and made great recommendations on replacements. He even checked the integrity of some other windows we had. After discussing our best options, he said he would give us a call when he finished with the estimates. During this time, we had other glass companies look at the windows, but we already knew we were going with Chuck. We accepted Chuck's quote and began to custom build our new windows. We discussed the install several weeks in advance and Chuck planned the job to take two days, not knowing what they may get into when they started to remove the rotted windows. It was scheduled for Thursday and Friday. He arrived Thursday, exactly at 8, like he said and began work. He had plenty of help and was able to complete the job by one o' clock. Chuck is very experienced and very professional. He is friendly and easy to work with. We will definitely recommend him to any friends or family with window or glass issues. Chuck did an excellent job working with the existing conditions of our house. Windows were installed in a professional manner in a reasonable time frame and they did an excellent clean up job afterwards. I would hire him again for future work.

The price was fair. We have a kind of big house. We had used them in the past. The people worked so hard and took pride in what they were doing. They had good communication and did it reasonably quickly, but they didn't rush through it. They did a good job. We would use them again.

Very nice experience. Did an excellent job replacing the glass in two windows. Provided a discount for Angies List users. I would definitely recommend him and will use him in the near future to repair our outside deck.

He did an amazing job! I am very busy so the fact that he was able to come out to my house without me being home, get the requisite information for the windows, etc that needed repair and get an estimate to me without me having to leave work before he was ready to the job was a plus. He called me when the material was ready and he came out the next day. I had a large tree fall into a window damage the casing, the siding and break the window. He repaired that in such a way that it looked better than before it was broken! He even painted the small area of siding and trim that he had to replace so it was completely done when he left. He removed the other windows that needed repair and replaced them as well. He cleaned up everything before he left. He was thorough and also brought my attention to other issues that I will need to address in the future. I was so impressed by the work that he had done on the casing around my windows that I am having him come back out and redo some work that the contractor that painted my house did to the trim around the windows a year ago. I will also have him back out to replace my palladium window in my two story foyer. I will be using him in the very near future and will recommend him to others for the amazing job that he did in my home. Thanks again.

I can't speak highly enough of Chuck. He is so knowledgeable about windows and gave me a very fair estimate for the repair. He didn't even buy the parts that were needed for the repair. He had some extra parts at his home & brought those over and didn't charge me for them. He is an all around nice guy, honest and trustworthy; a rarity in this day & age.

Simply put, Chuck is a professional and I would recommend him in a second! He returned my initial call within 24 hours, came out within 2 days, provided a written estimate within 4 days and completed the work within 2 weeks of my initial call! Not only was he completely responsive, he was able to repair the windows and doors saving us time and money without a replacement! He's a gem!

Mr. Morris was a bit difficult to reach initially due to being away. He is a private contractor. After we accepted his bid, he double-checked on our choice of color for window screen frame, and then ordered the necessary materials. Time to complete the work was 2 weeks beyond his original 3-4 weeks projection, and I had to e-mail him to check his intentions. Actual work took about 5 hours. I helped out with work on two of the stuck windows, and he volunteered to discount his price for my work. I declined because I wanted to do this, and he had not asked for my help.

Terrific! Considering Chuck had an injury! He had another worker with him (Lane) who took Chuck's direction very well. During the work, an electric wire was cut (while repairing wood rot on back door area) and they had an electrician friend come the next day to repair at no extra cost to me. It was very professional and the job took one day to complete, plus a little work the next day to repair the electrical. They keep their job site clean and arrive on time. I'm very happy with the work and it was reasonably priced.

I spoke with Chuck Morris about the repairs that I felt were needed on our windows. He noted right away that I wasn't exactly sure what areas needed repairs. He gave me a phone estimate for replacement windows however I really wanted him to come look at the windows to see if they could in fact be fixed and not replaced. So I asked if he would come give an estimate and at first he said no because he felt I was "just shopping around." Because he didn't seem interested in my business, I never called back. I purposely contacted him because of the good ratings from Angie's List and am not sure why he was so uninterested in coming to give an estimate. I have never just hired someone over the phone without them seeing the job and giving a written estimate and he certainly was not going to be an exception. I had a very poor experience with this company.

I have yet to find any tradesperson that provided the quality, professionalism, and efficiency by which Chuck and his team provided. We were extremely satisfied with his work. We will definitely use him again on our home.
