The only recommendation to others I would make is have your work done in the off season, as I had to wait almost a month to get on the schedule for repairs after the fall cooler weather set in. Travis Reece and his assistant seem rather popular and scheduled way in advance in the heating season.

Ive used Travis before, because of his knowledge and responsiveness. I called, He came exactly on time, spent time making sure everything was perfect so I could use my propane logs.

The guys made 2 trips out to the house once to inspect the chimneys and 1 to do the repair. Had another company come as well we were impressed with Reece's at both his knowledge and the attention to our concerns. We was far more thorough with both his inspection and his explanations to my wife as what the options were. We chose to have Reece do the work and the guys were on time and extremely professional. the charges were exactly as the estimate and we were are very pleased with there work. Right now we abandoned one chimney and the other is caped we will have them latter to reline the the wood stove chimney as it was not done properly. I highly recommend Reece's Kleen Sweep.

They kind of do heating and piping. They put in my gas lines and natural gas fireplaces. They put in what looks like a little coal burning fireplace. I have a historic home and it had an original fireplace that had been coal burning. The only thing that would fit in was a real small natural gas insert and they put that in for me. It looks like probably the original fireplace because they also put in a copper surround. He did a beautiful job. He actually came back last month and he checked it and cleaned it; it has been five years that he installed it. He put in the batteries for the remote. They are really good and very reasonably priced for their services. I would highly recommend them.

The service appointment went really well. They worked quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing repair and service to their chimney and fireplace.

They were reliable and did very good quality work.

The 2 young men who came to our door were Colin and Travis... These guys spent a lot of time here assessing the problem, being on the roof, closing or sealing a cap... blowing gunk out of gas pipe for the ignition of the gas fireplace.... Their bill was beyond reasonable and at the end they went above and beyond the call of duty. The one young man helped change out a fluorescent bulb upstairs. that we did not know how to access.. .. Also adjusted a screw on a closet door runner. This was after completing work they were hired to do. We were impressed by these hard working guys... not full of chatter .... but rather were of the old fashioned ethic "worked hard"... got the job done... The other bonus was they had a great attitude! Helpful, professional, polite. I would recommend and use them again... They were a pleasure to work with.

This was a good experience with a second generation young chimney sweep who was recommended to us by a gentleman at Bucks Stove, even though we did not make a purchase from that store. We called, and he came promptly on time, with safety gear and assistance, inspected our current stove and liner for safety. Said we could use the current stove as safe, but it was inefficient. We also thought it was not attractive. Stated we should replace the liner, as it was too short for safety. Said cap, etc. was in good repair. Provided us with a written estimate. Also stated that they had a decorative but efficient small Vermont Castings stove for sale, which we purchased sight unseen at a good discount, even though it was new. They came back for a second appt. and completed all work according to the estimate. The pretty little stove is just right for our 1924 bungalow. It kept our entire house (2 floors) heated for the ten days we didn't have electricity in 2010. We even cooked on it and heated bath water! I feel confident in the safety of my chimney now. I am planning to call for a chimney sweeping probably next year, as we do not use our stove daily.

Of course this dire warning from both the technicians and the owner of the first chimney company scared me to death and was going to be very costly, so I was thrilled when Reece's inspected my chimney and said it was fine to use and I should just consider the repair something think of in the future if we planned to stay in the house for a long time. They then gave me an estimate for the work that was $600 less than the other chimney companies estimate. They were prompt cheerful and courteous even though it was pouring rain and they thouroughly explained the issues and my options. I look forward to having them do the upgrade in the future as opposed to being scared into costly upgrades immediately by the other company.

They came in under estimate and completed all the work in one day. I was very pleased with the work. They were very neat and the repointing was done with good quality mortar.

Other companies came, tried to sell me un-needed things, using scare tactics. This company was honest to a fault, came quickly, repaired only what was needed. And they were reasonable. I was relieved and delighted.

They were very professional, friendly, and courteous, came over to look at the chimney, took some notes, and called the next day with an estimate. They worked very well, did top quality work, and completed the job in a day and a half. And they did a great job cleaning up.
