Wow! We are so impressed with this company! So professional and knew EXACTLY what they were doing. The owner was so kind and easy to work with, he explained everything. THe and the crew worked so hard (through the SNOW!) for 3 days to get the job done and they were so easy to have around. They were so tidy with their work. It was no easy job either, our fireplace was built so weird in 1979. We are so thankful and I highly recommend Reece to anyone looking for fireplace work. Thank you so much!

Recommended buying the doors on line instead of buying through him because it would be cheaper. Came back and installed the doors for a reasonable price.

SO glad I have these service people in my corner! Took them about 20 minutes to find and repair the tiny leak, and another few minutes to OK the unit for winter use.

Travis Reece and his crew worked quickly and professionally, solved repair and replacement problems of chimney above and below the roof line on our 110 year old house. The estimate and actual cost were exact and reasonable. Travis gave us a start and finish date, reminded us of his arrival, were prompt every day. Travis recommended brick that matched the character of the old house and the finished work is beautiful. He also covered a concrete hearth with slate that fits with the house.

They were very professional, on time, fully explained what they were doing and made suggestions for future maintenance. They were very careful to not damage anything inside and outside of our home, i.e. roof, flowerbeds carpeting. They were careful not to let my cats out when they were coming and going in and out of house. I highly recommend them and use them again.

Took gas logs out of the fireplace that were not working and in bad condition. Installed a brand new system which has worked perfectly from day one. He had tarps down to make sure the suet didn't ruin anything. He was very professional.

Warren and his son and helper did a great, professional job even though it was at times difficult. They even fixed prior errors in the tankless propane gas heater installation. He did what he said he would do and more, when he agreed to do it, at the price he quoted. What else could one ask for? I find the F rating given in another review to be completely unjustified. All of the men with whom I dealt were extremely amiable and capable.

Warren took care of procuring and installing a new Jotul gas-fired stove, including two gas tanks and piping for our cabin. He and his team, including his son, showed up on time and worked all day to complete the job. They were courteous, neat and thorough in all aspects of the job, including some fancy wood finishing work involved with constructing trim to match the log exterior along the vent of the stove. Warren made time for us again, after the tanks were filled, to correctly start-up the stove. We paid half the cost up front and half upon completion.

He got here within 45 minutes. He explained everything well. If I decided to get a new fireplace, he said he would deduct the $100 paid for this current service.

They arrived on time. Performed the work quickly, and explained everything as they went along. Suggested some DIY repairs to our wood stove, and recommended some places to get supplies since we are new to area.

We had tried ourselves to remove the glass in our gas fireplace, but were unable to do so. We called Warren, and he arrived, assuming this would be a simple, straightforward job. It wasn't. Apparently when the fireplace was installed, the entire oak and marble mantelpiece had been installed over the fireplace, sealing it in! Warren was game to try to remove the mantelpiece, so we did so - it took quite a bit as we had no idea how it was attached, and what would break, chip or rip from the wall. But ultimately, we were able to remove it and Warren was then able to access the fireplace, cleaning all elements beautifully while we held up the 200lb mantel! Pausing, of course to take pictures, as no one would believe what we had to do! Warren certainly didnt expect removing pieces of our house and was actually aplogetic that he hadn't brought a helper with him. Warren is a terrifically sweet and thoughtful man--on top of all the extra labor, he only charged us the normal cost of cleaning. We would call Warren again in a heartbeat and highly recommend him!

It went very well. They showed up on time, did good work, were easy to get along with, kept the area clean and picked up. Some of the work was tricky but they were able to cope without difficulty. I thought they did excellent work and I'm glad I found them. I'd recommend them to anyone. This was a fairly complex job that required a real variety of skills, which they had.

I was referred to Reece by a company in Black Mountain. I needed a stove inspected at a rental property. I called at 10am on a Thursday and was answered by a man that seemed to have little time or desire to help or talk to a new customer. I asked to schedule an inspection he replied that they were booked. I asked for how long they were booked, his response was , "months." I asked if he might have any recommendations for other companies that also do inspections given that his company was booked for months, his response was, "you should probably look around, try the yellow pages." And then he hung up. Unbelievably unprofessional. I started an Angie's list account just to post this review.

I got more service than I expected and paid less than I expected. They cleaned up after them selves every step of the way. When they left there was no soot any where. We were very satisfied and will use them again.

ddCalled about possible gas leak when gas fire logs turned on. Other companies wanted to schedule 3 weeks in the future. They answered the call promptly and came the next day. We did have a leak in the metal tubing. He secured the line . We ordered a new set as this could not be repaired and returned to install them after they were received.

6 months later and I can write that I am burning fires in my new insert and loving it. The work seems to have been done in a great way as the fires are easy to start and burn efficiently. I would highly recommend Reece's Clean Sweep! The upstairs fireplace is working well too. Thanks to the folks at Reece's!!!
