Never returned call.

The price seemed to be in line with generic estimates for type and length of fenced desired. I simply have not yet decided to commit to that much fencing. Will call back when I do decide.

We contacted Mark in March to discuss installing fencing in June. Mark had many good ideas and suggestions once he saw our property and assessed the terrain and our objectives. He listened to what we wanted and used his knowledge and experience to translate that into an architecturally well designed fence consistent with the house design. We then changed the date that we wanted to have the fence completed and despiite other commitments he arranged his schedule in such a manner that he met our request. Mark went above and beyond normal business expectations, even assisting us long distance in achieving the results. We love our new fence. Mark could not have done better.

Located Mark Morris, owner of Fencescape, through Angie's List. I called Mark and we arranged to meet at the home located in Biltmore Forest and walk the desired area to be fenced. Mark had several suggestions and was able to route the fence in such a manner that the foilage, shrubs and trees would be minimally impacted by fence construction. They are not interested in taking a machete to the plants nor are they going to fence over a fallen tree (both of these things occurred during a fence job at my previous home in Atlanta...amazing but true). Mark provided a website link to the manufacturer of the metal ornamental fencing that he uses andI was able to pick from a couple of styles and heights. Mark drew a diagram of the proposed fence and gates offering a Plan A and Plan B along with the setbacks from the streets of Busbee and Vanderbilt and the next door nighbors. We had the property surveyed and once the Variance Review Board and Design Review Board provided their approval, Mark walk the property with us again and then layed out the exact fence line with string, again in a manner that would be least intrusive to the existing landscaping. Mark and his crew began work on the scheduled date and the fence was completely installed on the date that Mark had provided as the and quot;completionand quot; date. This fence construction was a flawless project. Mark thoroughly understands customer service, his skill level is quite high, product knowledge is excellent and he delivers a high quality product, that is installed with a knowledgable crew insuring a straight fence line and minimum disturbance to existing grass, trees and foilage and at a competitive price. We are very happy about our fence.

I have had Mark do several jobs for me over the years. I have never once been disappointed until now. I called a number of times no response. Finally talked with mark. He set a time to meet and never showed up or called. Tried three times never called or showed up. Not sure what is going on. I still whish him the best.

Mark is very professional and one of the most honest people I have ever worked with. He came out, gathered the information and gave me an estimate. This was a very large purchase for me and I wanted the best. Mark and his crew are definitely the best for fencing. Bad weather forced the job to take longer than anticipated, but Mark was very good about contacting me and letting me know when they would be back out. His crew was great to work with and very accomodating. I would highly recommend Fence Scapes and Mark Moore for any and all fencing needs. UPDATE: I never received any invoices from Mark and asked repeatedly for an invoice. He also never came back for the few things that needed to be fixed. I recently called Mark to do some cross fencing for me and he spoke to me briefly, then told me he would call me back - 3 weeks ago. I'm not sure I would recommend him as highly as I originally did. The work was great, but the follow thru is poor.

It could not have gone better. Mark called the same day I left a message and provided an estimate the next day. His team completed the fence quickly and it looks great. He called or e-mailed often to make sure things were going well.

The crew was very punctual. They worked from early morning until almost dark to fence approximately 1/2 acre. They finished the fencing the next day as well as the 3 gates. We have been very pleased with the fence and in the work that Fence Scapes did for us. The cost was the same as the estimate and all the work was accomplished in a timely manner. The crew cleaned up everything and even moved the dirt that was excavated when digging the fence posts to a low area in our landscape!

We contacted Mark Morris at Fence Scapes because of his high rating on Angie's list. We had just purchased our home, and wanted to install a fence for our two small dogs. Mark came immediately and talked with us at length about what kind of fence options we had, given the restrictive covenants of our neighborhood. In the end we decided to use a decorative wrought-iron (aluminum) style in the front, and black clad chain link across the sides and back. Mark made the whole process seamless and easy--he and his crew installed over 300 feet of fencing, around the entire back and sides of our house--without doing any damage to the yard. All the post holes were dug by hand, and the result is both beautiful and functional. During the fencing process, we also spoke with Mark about planning and putting up a new deck for us. We had met with another deck builder who didn't seem to know much what he was doing, and we loved working with Mark so much that we decided to go with him for the deck as well. We told him what we wanted--a functional and stylish outdoor space, with an inset for a sunken hot tub, plus a small secondary deck at the downstairs exit on the lower side of the house. He drew it out for us and priced it so that we could decide what options we wanted to keep or eliminate, based on our budget. The end result was more than we could have hoped for. Even though it was a bit more expensive, Mark recommended black iron posts rather than wooden pickets for the deck rails, to co-ordinate with our black iron fencing, and he worked with us to get the best possible price for the materials. His team built in some interesting architectural details that gave a lot of character to the deck: angled steps going down into the yard, and double corner pergolas that give the deck an enclosed, private feeling without blocking the view. Completion of the deck took a bit longer than we anticipated because of some bad weather, but all in all everything went extremely smoothly. The prices were exactly on budget--not a dime more than Mark had estimated, except for a couple of last- minute additions. All the sub-contract people he works with are equally skilled and professional, and we felt very comfortable with all of them. Not a complainer in the bunch--all of them seem to love what they do--and they're genuinely nice guys. Mark's communication is EXCELLENT. He conferred with us about our preferences at every stage of the process. He was always on time, and kept us updated with phone calls when weather or circumstances beyond his control prevented his team from working. He has a great spirit and sense of humor, and in addition to appreciating the quality of his work, we just plain LIKE him. I'm very satisfied with the quality of the work and materials used. Mark was very helpful with planning the layout and placement of gates and his work crew did a great job. I would definitely use FenceScapes again - in fact, I'm getting a quote for some decorative fencing for the front yard.

Overall I thought Fence Scapes did a really good job. Easy to work with, and excellent pricing. I am fairly critical, and I rarely give an A to any service unless I feel it is thoroughly deserved. My only complaint, albeit minor, was a bit sloppy in the clean-up, both during and after finishing. Definitely not an A for that. I would definitely consider working with them again.

I called and scheduled a time to have them come to my house and give me a quote on a fencing job. They never showed up. A few weeks later I called again and scheduled another meeting. They didn't show up again.

We are in a mountain setting and wanted a driveway gate that would blend in with the scenery without looking like a run of the mill industrial or sterile neighborhood driveway gate. We looked on Angie's List for a reliable driveway gate contractor and were impressed with Fence Scapes reputation. Mark, the owner of Fence Scapes, provided creative ideas to include the use of Locus logs as the poles and custom made iron hinges. He recommended looking at Barkhouse for the logs and they were able to find us two perfect logs. The log posts were complimented with the well constructed bronze aluminum swing gates. Mark suggested gate operators other than the ones I considered. I am glad he did because further research taught me the ones I was considering were inferior. Mark brings alot of creativity, skill, experience, and professionalism to the job. He and his team did what he said he would and left us with a terrific outcome. We could not be happier with the driveway gate. Fence Scapes can be trusted for a job well done and worth the money.

Mark took an interest in my project from the first time he looked at my design. He walked/measured the area making suggestions as we went along and showed enthusiasm and an understanding of my needs and desires. This is opposed the the other bidding company who just quickly measured and said "I'll get back with you." His pricing was substantially better than the other company as well. When the project began, he was there when he said he would be. If I called or emailed, he returned the call or message within 10 minutes if not immediately. He and his crew were wonderful to work with. I am particularly pleased since my fence was a custom design and each board had to be measured and cut. It looks wonderful and I highly recommend this company.

Mark (owner of Fence Scapes) gave me a very competitive quote on our small fencing project - about 90 linear feet of 6' tall wood privacy fence. It was a project I had considered doing myself. But after calculating materials and time, it was clear that hiring Mark and Fence Scapes was a terrific bargain. He was able to schedule the work promptly. He and his crew showed up when he said they would. They finished the job in about six hours over two days and it looks great! The quality is A+, they didn't leave any mess and everyone was courteous and professional - even in with temperatures around 90 and very high humidity. I'd recommend them to anyone. Great job!

Marc and his guys did an exceptional job. Truly. From the very beginning he was ridiculously easy to work with. I have been working with contractors, repairmen, remodelers, etc. almost none stop for the past three years and not one has been as reliable, approachable, and accomodating as he was from the very first phone call. Marc and his guys are imperfect, don't get me wrong, but the two times that something happened to throw our schedule off, Marc was on the phone with me explaining the situation, keeping me updated throughout, and making up for it anyway necessary, even working through Memorial Day weekend to catch up for time lost. Interesting information: - Mark responded to my interest in his company within 15 minutes of sending the email. Only 15 minutes! - He and a worker came to my house at 6:30 pm in the pouring rain to provide an estimate when it was convenient for us. - He showed me his measurements of my property so I wouldn't be bamboozled (I walked with him and he pointed it out) - He explained the best options to suit our needs and answered all questions with respect - Pricing was comparable to others but with the added benefit that his price included stabilizing every single post with concrete. Every sinlge one! I watched. - They worked straight through even in the 90 degree heat - There was no complaining, no uncomfortable staring, no improper behavior from anybody on his crew. They were respectful at all times (as a female this is HUGE and practically unheard of) - He built everything exactly where I wanted it, exactly how I wanted it - The couple of times that I asked to line something up a little better or move something, it was done happily and without complaint, sighing, or otherwise showing irritation (again, a rare thing) - The estimate was dead on. Not a penny more, even when we kept throwing new projects at him and he was quoting us on the fly. He remembered what he quoted us and stayed with it. My single complaint - the crew did not clean up thoroughly before leaving every night. There were empty drink cups and water bottles all over the place. Not so bad, it only took us a few minutes to pick up, but everything else was always so good it was surprising to see trash left behind. The final product is exactly what we wanted, if not better. We were just floored with the result. The fence is beautiful and solidly built. My husband and I would and will hire FenceScapes again (hopefully next year for a deck) and will absolutely refer them to others.

The estimate was made in a very prompt, professional manner. Upon acceptance of the proposed work, we paid 1/2 down. The original deal was to begin the work in 2 weeks, and would take 1-2 days. The actual work began after waiting 4 weeks, and the work was completed in 4 days. They did a thorough job removing the old fence.

I just happened to find this company through a Google search. I was impressed by his website and photo gallery and found his prices were competitive with the other fencing contractors I had used. We also liked that he was very technology savvy. :)

Our experience was very good with Mark and Fence Scapes and would recommend him to anyone needing work done on there fence. He as very informative and did not have any hidden fees.
