Easy to discuss the necessary job, showed up on time, did job with military precision.

Due to a health problem, I could no longer manually open my garage door. I called them on December 18. I had a garage door opener on the 19th. It took about an hour to install. I am very happy with the results.

Called them regarding a broken spring, and they quoted a price on the phone, and that's exactly what they charged. They came on time, and did not waste any time, and had the door fixed in 30 minutes.

I had a very good experience. I got very fast service and a friendly service tech. came out. I will use them again.

He replied to my voice mail message promptly and arrived the next day to do the repair. A new part was needed, which he went home to get, then returned and finished up. Excellent!

His name is David Hill. They were punctual and fast to respond to emergency needs. He was fairly priced and he fixed the garage door when it needed fixing. I had no problem and I would use him again. He was competitive on his pricing.

Asheville Garage Door Services installed the two doors one week after I called them. As a point of reference, I called them the day I fired Home Depot from the job after they postponed a second installation appointment eight weeks after I had ordered the doors with installation. (See my review of that fiasco, if you have any morbid interests.)

They were one of the Angie's List service award winners in 2011. The customer service and it was fantastic. The quality of the product and the selection of different choices and colors that we could have it customized the garage door with were all very positive things about the company. I chose the basic, entry-level white garage door with no windows. It was kind of like the base package but still the product was very good. I would certainly recommend them. I would certainly do business with them again. Any hiccup that we had in the entire experience was that, when they had come and measured the garage door and ordered the door for it, they had measured the wrong size. So, unfortunately they had to order a new one, which takes several weeks, and it was more of just an inconvenience than anything. They were, of course, very apologetic and very professional about it, and they fixed and put my door back up and doctored it up about as good as it could be to hold up in the meantime. Other than that, everything went great.

They were excellent, I was on the board in my association, we wanted to change from wood to metal garage doors, they were brought up, and that is why I called them. They also provided us with a discount.

Our spring popped in the middle of the night (scared us to death -- sounded like a gun shot!) and we called AGDS in the morning. It wasn't an emergency for us, but we appreciated their being able to schedule us for that afternoon. The technician arrived on time, replaced the spring and checked other operating parts. Excellent service, pleasant, reasonable price ... couldn't be better.

Two gentlemen came out and went over the door top to bottom. They explained what they were doing, and what as a homeowner I should do. They stressed the importance of "less is best" as far as the amount of lubricant to use, where to apply and what to use. They were quick, thorough, and very nice...and competent. Would definitely call them again.

The other company that I called gave me a quote that was staggering, but these people gave a reasonable quote. They came immediately and they were quick. They could have come on a Saturday but they would charge a little extra. I didn’t have an emergency so I had them come on Monday. He knew exactly what was wrong from my description, he brought a spring, and he got everything fixed in a half hour. I expected it to cost a lot more than it did.

The experience went very well. When i called, I explained i could not open the garage door and thus could not get the car out. They came about 2 hours after I called and finished the work in less than an hour. The door works works perfectly now.

They were great, after several people weren't great. They fixed what other people couldn't fix.

David was very knowledgeable about the situation and was able to resolve the issue in very short order. He also provided helpful suggestions on future maintenance and also serviced my other garage door while on site. I would highly recommend his services.

It took him about two minutes, and he charged me $80. He was very courteous. However, I felt that the job was a lot more pricey than it should have been.

My garage door was stuck down! I called and he arrived a few hours later with springs, figuring that was the problem over the phone. He was correct but needed a different one. They returned and fixed the door - Yeah. The door is not in good shape and I may have them replace the door all together in the future. For now it is back to working and working better than before.

Very well; repairmen were punctual and professional. The door needed adjustment 3 days later (it would rise again when it hit the ground). The adjustment was made, cheerfully, the day I called to report the issue.

Everything was great. They told us where we could drive by and see some of the doors we were considering. That really helped us pick out what we wanted. They did a great job on the installation and weatherstripping. The doors are great and I won't need any more for a long time, but I would call these guys back in a heartbeat if I ever did need more.
