Joined Angies List because I was tired of constractors blowing off appointments or not calling back. Because this one had so many good reviews I called him. He promptly called me back, we set up a date for him to come out and he didn't show up or call.So much for Angies List, I might as well use the Yellow Pages.

I really appreciate that Troy reworked his schedule and drove quite a distance in some nasty weather to do this repair the same day I contacted him. He did an excellent job, and is certainly skilled and thorough.

The job was completed in a professional manner. Troy did a great job of purchasing the right materials, and he did an expert installation.

Troy was fantastic. He took care of everything he said he would, brought in help for the electrical and plumbing, and had everything done when he said it would be. He was very nice and did a great job.

Troy did an excellent, solid job in a quick, efficient, and very friendly fashion. He was quick to respond to my original call for an estimate, and called to let me know he would be slightly late, always appreciated. The estimate was reasonable - I would not describe it as inexpensive but definitely fair for the work involved based on other estimates. His response upon accepting the estimate was quick - an estimated couple of weeks turnaround turned out to be just a few days as he had an opening. He arrived on time, got to work, and throughout the process worked consistently and diligently. He was always very friendly and pleasant and was very considerate of our house and family (removed his shoes when he came into the living areas - I mean, I've never seen a contractor of any kind do that and we've had a lot of people through this house); not to mention that he cleaned up well at the end of every day. He seemed knowledgeable and was very conscientious about noting additional things that needed fixing (such as a rusted toilet flange) which he replaced for no additional cost, and about saving money when possible in terms of considering reusing old material, or in our case, making sure a new window that we had already purchased and did not perfectly fit the existing spot, ended up fitting perfectly. Troy did the work in the estimated four days, and all in all the work appears to be great. A few minor issues I pointed out were acknowledged without hesitation and fixed without any problem. The work all appears to be solid, and time will tell in terms of how things hold up, but at this point we are completely satisfied. Troy ultimately performed a great job at the agreed upon price and in the estimated time - which I have found difficult to achieve by most contractors these days. Honest and ethical and a nice person at that. You can't beat that. Would definitely recommend.

Troy Rosebrock is a fine person, talented, trustworthy, as well as sensitive to our needs. My husband is ill and in treatment and Troy worked around our schedule. Even after working one day at another job, he called and came to us and put in several hours of work. When he starts a job he keeps on going until completion... and is fastidious about cleaning up after a days work. We have already asked him to install crown moulding in the kitchen. We have experienced a bad contractor, chimney sweep and a plumber in the past; we now feel blessed to have found Troy Rosebrock of T R Home Improvement, LLC on Angie's List and we are pleased to highly recommend him for his honesty, talent, and work ethic.

Troy called the morning after we e-mailed him. He set up a convenient time to look at our list and give an estimate. He arrived at the appointed time, checked each job and gave us a written, detailed estimate. Based on price and presentation, we decided to have the work done and scheduled a day to begin. He arrived on-time with the right equipment and methodically completed each job. The entire list took parts of several days - he was always here when he said that he'd be, worked continuously and completed the whole process very well.

He repaired a light which was not working in my garage. I personally like him because he did a little extra by fixing the wires that were frayed to prevent problems in the future. There was still some available time so he asked what else would I like done. He was then able to assist me with my storm door lock.

I contacted Troy on Friday and got an immediate response. He said he would be here at Monday at 9:30. Troy showed up on time and had both of my troublesome door repaired quickly and professionally. I have asked him to fix a heat vent problem and will put together a list of other projects that need attention. Troy is prompt, professional, quick and personable. Highly recommend!

Troy did an excellent job with the mailbox installation. The mailbox looks and works great. I would highly recommend Troy as a handyman. He is friendly, professional, reliable, and prompt. He answers emails and returns phone messages in a timely manner. We have already contacted Troy for additional work at our house.

After months of attempting to engage unresponsive contractors, we were blessed to find Troy from an Angie's Big Deal e-mail. Although we elected not to purchase the Deal, we read TR Home Improvement's numerous excellent reviews and were impressed. Troy scheduled the initial meeting within a few days of our call, arrived promptly, listened to our requests, took copious notes and measurements and provided great advice on remodeling our basement. We were anxious to get renovations underway as furniture and carpeting were purchased months prior and we were close to incurring storage fees. He gave me a start and complete date, managed to start some projects early and actually finished a day before his estimate. Staff working with Troy were also helpful and polite. We now have a beautifully transformed basement. I only wish I took "before" pictures to post along with the "after" pictures which are coming soon. Troy even devised a hinged column enclose for a lolly column that runs through the edge of a storage bench. If Troy boxed in this column to match the other column in the basement, I would not be able to open the bench top. Now I can remove the column enclosure to get into the storage bench and replace it when done. Truly ingenious! The above pricing does not reflect the 10% Angie's List coupon. Troy will be the first person we call for any additional remodeling or handyman work. In fact, we are having him back to assemble some office furniture and give us quotes for a fence installation. Don't hesitate to use TR Home Improvement - you will be delighted.

This was a second visit from Troy. He followed up on the installation of an attic exhaust fan which we had discussed before. I had purchased the wrong size fan originally. He followed up by purchasing and installing the correct fan and even took the old fan back and got me credit for it. He also purchased and installed a thermostat for it. He had to do some carpentry to make it fit, but was quick and professional. He also made some repairs on our cement patio which had pulled away from the house and was allowing water to come into the basement.. He leaves the area clean, works quickly, is professional and friendly. I'm very comfortable with him and will definitely have him come back to make more repairs around the house. It's a real comfort to work with someone I have faith in.

The job went well and looks great! No problems and as always, quality craftsmanship! Staining took a little while due to a lot of rain!

Troy arrived promptly, was very professional. I had purchased a fan to replace the defective one in the attic, but it didn't fit. He discussed this with me, we agreed on a course of action and then he moved on to the ceiling fan to be replaced. The wiring in that room was poorly done and he made corrections and replaced the fan. I appreciated his willingness to explain things to me patiently. I have already arranged for him to come back and do more work in the future. I have already recommended him to other members of my family and a friend.

It was two hours of service. They did things that my husband is not very good at. They didn’t charge us anything. I got a special from Angie’s List which was $65 for two hours of work; so it was cool. I liked the guy who came out and I felt comfortable with me being alone in the house with him. I found him to be a very respectful person. The price was great. I thought he did well and cleaned up after himself. It took him a little while to respond since he was ill; so that was fine. I didn’t have any problems with it. He called and contacted me to let me know what was going on. So, that was fine. He was on time as well. He told me what time he was going to be here and he called to tell me that he was on his way. He is a good guy and I would use him again.

Troy came out as scheduled, provided a written quote, and efficiently completed the work per the quote. He was very professional throughout the entire process. I'll be hiring him for additional handyman and electrical jobs and recommending him to co-workers and friends. I had contacted three other contractors, and no one followed through on providing a quote or could do all the tasks I needed done. I'm very lucky to have found Troy!

Troy came over right away and helped us repair a ceiling fan that had not worked for about 2 years. In addition, he adeptly installed door alarms and fence hinges and gate latch for our upcoming pool inspection. He explained an issue he discovered with the gate while installing the latch, in an easy- to-understand manner and quickly purchased a needed part to address it. Before I knew it, the latch was on, the fence hinges tightened and the gate was closing on its own. We were ready for our inspection! Thank, Troy.

As usual, Troy thoughtfully gave us an estimate on putting our patio gazebo and furniture together and executed flawlessly.He was done on time, stuck to his price and made my daughter's 19th b-day pool party a success!He has and will continue to be my goto guy!

Was not an easy install on the front door and front storm door but Troy was able to overcome any problems with his carpentry skills and knowledge! Overall a great looking and professional job!
