Needed a new basketball post and goal installed in the ground. Originally contracted them to dig the hole, pour the cement and set the j-hooks in place. However, I asked about assembly of the goal and installation and the price seemed right. I've been disappointed by contractors in the past who start jobs and take forever to complete them fully. This was not the case with T R Home Improvement. The job was done when promised and professionally. Owner Troy combines fair price points with quality workmanship and follow-through on promised dates. I wish more contractors did the same. Great job Troy! Thank you.

T R Home Improvement was hired after another contractor backed out of job after I required a detailed contract to be signed. Contractor was called and responded immediately came to house measured and inspect materials I previously purchased for the job. Contractor is a good person, hard worker, good personality, fair and reasonable. Things went smoothly. Contractor repaired unforeseen carpenter ant damage at a reasonable additional charge. Framing could have been more precise. I come from a family of engineers who always required precision, exactness and attention to detail. The only issue I have is with the finish trim. The cuts could be better and missed cut trim boards should have been discarded and new boards cut -- gaps from improper cuts should not be filled in with caulk. This may not be an issue for other homeowners but I grew with engineers who demand perfection to a millimeter of an inch. Overall Grade B+/A-

I called Angies list on Wednesday got Troy's phone number and called the same day. Troy called back within an hour, was at my house for an estimate, and out the very next day to put up my decorations. I'm a single mom and couldnt find the time to get to the lights outside. Nor did I have a clue as to how to do it. My kids were really hoping to have lights this year. I was telling this to Troy and my lights were up the next day!!!!! Being a single mom on a budget, his price was fantastic!! I had my fingers crossed that I would be able to afford to have him do it, and he came in with an amazing price. I pulled out all of my lights, extension cords, boxed trees, and timers. Troy came out in the freezing cold and put everything up...... I can not tell you how thrilled my kids were when they got home that night and finally our house was lit up like the rest of the neighborhood!!!! It really made a difference to me and my kids to have our house look so good finally!!! I told everyone of my neighbors about how nice, prompt, fairly priced, and hardworking Troy was.... I will definately be calling him again next year.... Thanks Troy!!!!
