Above Code Electric sent to men to my home for fours to work on a wide range of electrical issues. The crew arrived on time, were very professional, and did very good work. I already have plans to hire them again to do additional work in the house. They rewiring panels for me, installed new switches and outlets, and they fixed my doorbell during the visit.

Jody was great and professional. He was able to perform the whole job without damaging any walls and left us with a clean finished kitchen.

George and Mr Richards did an excellent job and over came all problems they encountered in the walls and ceiling with ease. They repaired all the holes and even warned me that their patches would be smoother than the rest of the ceiling, so I should be sure to roll on primer so the texture would match. The only hitch came at the end when I paid the bill. The contract says 5% discount for cash and they really near cash no checks or money orders. So I missed out on the discount. I was hoping for otherwise the overall experience would have received on A.

They were fantastic. Very hard working, required little guidance and worked efficiently.

A breaker was off and I turned it on and heard a loud BOOM. Knew I needed an electrician right away. No fire or smoke but still an alarming situation. I was not an established customer of any electrical services company so I turned to Angie's List. Got a list of "A" rated electrical contractors in my area and called Above Code Electrical. My call was answered right away, the situation explained, and I was told they could have someone at my house in 3 or 4 hours. In less than 2 hours George appeared at my doorway. I am very impressed by the quick responsiveness of this service provider and the abilities of the electrician sent to me. George went right to work, diagnosed the problem, fixed it and was done in a little under an hour. It cost more to have someone come right away but as they say "priceless" came to mind when thinking of the peace of mind they gave me. I intend to have Above Code Electric continue with all my electrical needs. George was very courteous, professional and extremely knowledgeable of his trade. I very highly recommend their services. I have used Angie's List in the past for "deals" but was never faced with - what I viewed - as an emergency situation. I was alarmed that I had no established history as a customer with the services I needed. This situation taught me something I had not considered with Angie's List. With Above Code Electricians being an Angie's List service provider, and myself being an Angie's list member - I had the established connection. Thanks Angie's List!

They were really great. On time, professional, very nice, efficient and fixed all of my electrical issues. I had put off getting all the 'little' things fixed, and am very happy I purchased this deal and got all issues resolved. The guys were great about showing me how they fixed things and gave me pointers on how to do things and what I had done wrong previously, all without making me feel like a dummy.

It went well. They did not charge me more than the big deal. They should have prepared for the visit with hardware required, and checked on the repairs they did before they left. They had to come back.

No problem except for the one 4 way switch. Both young men were friendly, polite and professional. Will use again.

Both visits went great. The workers arrived on time, were very professional and friendly. George came both times and did a great job explaining what they would be doing. He was also willing to address any concerns or questions I had. They got right to work and cleaned up after themselves. We would definitely hire them again for any future electrical projects.

Lionel and his team were fantastic. We received quotes from three companies to complete our work, and while Above Code was slightly more expensive than the others, it became clear through the process that they would be the best company for the job. They also complete mudding as part of the cost -- which no other company we received a quote from would do. This saved us several hundred dollars for a carpenter on the back-end and ultimately made the Above Code "all-in" cost cheaper than our other quotes. The upgrades took about two days as expected. Lionel and his crew were on time and professional and the craftsmanship was solid. There was one hiccup with the work but Lionel made sure that it was fixed to our satisfaction and comped us for several items that were being billed on time and materials. Also, several weeks after the job was completed, we had a circuit breaker fail. Above Code came to replace it without charging a service call fee. I would definitely recommend using Above Code -- they are a great family-owned business.

Mr. Richard visited us to understand qualitatively what we were trying to achieve. He then came-up with a plan and a proposal that detailed both the service to be performed and the materials selected to achieve the result. We accepted the proposal, and Above Code then presented a contract for the services that required very little modification (I'm a lawyer, so shoot me!), scheduled the project, arrived on time, executed, cleaned-up and was gone. We are very satisfied and would not hesitate to recommend Above Code Electric for any electrical or tele-data services, whether residential or commercial.

They arrived very close to the scheduled time and took a few minutes for us to show them what we wanted. They completed all three tasks just as we requested, and well within the first hour of work. It was a job well done, and a very satisfying experience. They were personable and pleasant to work with, yet very professional. I recommend them highly.

The electrician & his assistant were polite, curteous, and seemed very capable. It took them several hours to figure out what was wrong and I thought they showed great patience and persistence. They went into the attic and pulled up the floor and much insulation to trace the wiring in the bedroom . In the end they found that there was a bad outlet (shorting out?) in the bedroom. They replaced the outlet and solved the problem. They installed the GFI and made sure that the chewed wires were not a fire hazard. I gve them a B in professionalism rather than an A because they left a bit of a mess and some big hunks of insulation out of place in the attic. They also left a small door with access to the eves (where the chewed wires were located !) wide open inside my bedroom closet.

From the start, the electrician showed a good command of the technology and eventually located the error in the prior electrician's work. The repair was accomplished in under and hour.

Lionel and his team are very professional and they did an excellent initial evaluation to review what was needed for the project. The next day, the company emailed me an estimate with lighting and wiring options. It was a very fair price, and the project was scheduled for the following week. The team showed up on time and ready to work and maintained a friendly, yet professional demeanor. This was the best experience with a electrician!
