They arrived on time and proceeded to work diligently all the time they were here. They were polite and nice and cleaned up when they finished. They are very conscientious about doing the job well. They even came in underbudget for the cost. I highly recommend this company. They are serious about being "above code" and safety is their number one concern.

Wow! Fantastic Job by George and Chris! I couldn't have been happier! To begin with, I could have gone with either Above Code, or another Angie's List company, I was really on the fence and decided that whichever called first, I'd go with them! I left messages with specific instructions for both companies. One company didn't bother to pay attention to the content and sent someone out without calling. That person wound up frustrated when I turned him away and threatened a $300.00 charge for his visit. The other company, Above Code, called precisely when I asked, so I hired them and made an appointment. First of all, George called a little before noon and let me know exactly when to expect him. When they arrived, they gathered all the necessary equipment from their van, making sure not to place anything on the carpeted portion of the floor, placing everything on the linoleum. They then removed their work boots. George got started upstairs and Chris got to work on the light socket in the laundry area. To access the bathroom fan, George had to lift a couple of ancient and heavy suitcases out of his way, which he did without complaint. I asked him to leave them down so that I could get rid of them. Chris also went out of the way for me. The old light socket in the laundry room had a pull cord that my daughter made as a young child. He added some string to it so that I could keep the same pull cord there, (I'm a sentimental old hen!) and tied it back on, good as new! I really haven't a clue as to how long they were here, I think less than an hour. I didn't pay attention to the time. However, when they were done, they cleaned everything up quite thoroughly so that there was barely any evidence other than the working bathroom fan and working light fixture where those things hadn't worked before! George also went to the bother to refer me to a handyman that he trusted to do several other jobs around the house. I am extremely pleased with Above Code Electric, especially since after such a fine job, and cleanup to boot, the job cost less than I expected it would, and certainly less than the other guy threatened to charge me for coming out without an appointment! I hope to do further renovations to my house and will need an electrician for at least a couple of the jobs. I will most certainly be hiring Above Code Electric again in the future, and will request George and Chris if they are available!

It went well. The technician was punctual and explained what he was doing as he was working, and that was helpful.

The technicians were prompt and very professional. After inspecting the electrical setup in my home, they explained the options that were available for adding a new bathroom receptacle and updating the older receptacles throughout my home. They also replaced a broken electric baseboard heater. The thermostat I purchased for the new heater did not function properly initially. So they worked diligently with the manufacturer's support to determine what the problem was. Ultimately, the thermostat needed to be exchanged. The Above Code Electric team stayed and ensured that the replacement thermostat operated correctly. I was very pleased with their work.

They were able to work me into their schedule and as usual, they were prompt, professional and great to deal wth. They have now done small, medium and large projects at my home. All went great. I would recommend them to anyone and they are the only electricians I will ever use. They are one of the best group of contractors I've ever dealt with.

They arrived on time, determined best approach and proceeded to trying gas stove into 20 amp counter top outlet. They ran new wire through wall behind stove, neatly done! George and Donald were surpurb. The owner, Lionel was great to deal with when scheduling the work provided details, asked good questions to determine ways to solve the issue and provided solid estimate. Great experience and good guys, highly recommend for electrical work.
