Call Mr Fixit

Description of Work: Our kitchen floor was sagging and not level enough to support a ceramic tile floor. Call Mr. Fixit came in and took care of the structural issues. Our floor has improved support and is no longer sagging. They were very friendly, punctual, and cleaned up after themselves each day which lessened the stress of having a kitchen in disarray. They even finished a day earlier than expected! We highly recommend them!

Description of Work: First time I called them I never heard anything back. The 2nd time he did come out and said that he left me a message. I told him what I was looking for was to get things that were done at my home (general contracting work) fixed, due to them being done incorrectly from a past contractor. Then he made a comment and asked where I found him and I told him on Angie's List. Then he said, "Oh, they love me at Angie’s List." He also told me I have a high end bathroom, that I shouldn’t have the cheap shower door that has been installed. I was just turned off by his approach; he was unprofessional and egotistical. I did not have the confidence that he would do good work do to how much he was self-promoting. One other thing that he did was I told him that I did read a negative comment on him on Angie's List; and kept talking poorly of the customer who wrote that. He should not have been bad mouthing another customer to a potential customer.

Description of Work: Provided estimate for remodeling.

Description of Work: I needed a outlet for my whirlpool tub I call on Saturday which is their day off...But Monday morning I received a call with questions of the work that needed to be done on or about 12:00 he arrived at the house we agreed on a price and set a date for Friday to have the work done ....so today when I received a call that they were close by I welcomed them ...my work was finish within two hours...

Description of Work: I called "Mr. Fixit" based on the positive feedback here on Angie's List. When I called, I reached Dennis while he was golfing. I started to explain what services I wanted, but Dennis asked that I send him an email (using the e-mail link from Angie's List). He did not ask for my phone number or offer to call me back later when he could talk. Shortly thereafter, I took the time to compose an email which described the house and discussed various masonry projects and fwd. it and asked that I be called at the number provided. I never heard from Dennis or anyone on behalf of Mr. Fixit -- not by phone or email. I have since found a mason elsewhere.

Description of Work: Dennis (Mr. Fix It) did a wonderful job. we had a sunroom addition added to the back of the house. Dennis always answered my calls and questions. he got the job done professionally and in a timely manner. I highly recommend him.
