Description of Work: They have always been helpful, punctual and professional for scheduled visits and for most unscheduled calls. There was some grumbling at my last call (around midnight), but my AC was working again in less than two hours. I have a service contract with Stout, which is perhaps the best testimonial; I don't enter into those agreements with a company I don't like or trust.

Description of Work: They replaced our AC/Heating systems for upstairs and downstairs. They did a great job and were on time. It took a while to get them installed as it was in the middle of the heat/hot summer when we decided to install.

They are a bit pricey, but I suppose you get what you pay for.

Description of Work: I have regularly been impressed by Stout. This most recent routine maintenance appointment also uncovered a capacitor problem, hence the cost -- normally a routine maintenance is less than half that amount. Last year, a circuit board in our heat pump/AC system died when a bug fried itself on a very hot Labor Day. The technician did not have a replacement board on hand but made a temporary fix that allowed us to have cool air in our house until the next day, when he arrived bright and early to finish the work. Their prices are fair; they come on time, and their staff is very professional and courteous.
