It went great. I have no complaints. The staffs were fine. It was an extremely small company. I think I got their recommendation from Angie’s List. They came exactly as advertised. They had a problem on the first day that they were supposed to come here but it was not a big deal so I didn’t worry about it. It didn’t cause me any dismay or distress. They just arranged to come on a different day. What stood out the most is that the fact that they fixed something that a lot of other people tried to fix and nobody had fixed right yet and the fact that the fix stayed fixed ever since they did it. It didn’t cost that much. I was satisfied with the pricing. I would recommend them to a friend. They did very well.

Took out old sill and did quality job in replacing new one.

Mark (the owner) was quick to respond to my voice message, he came to our house after a couple of days after we spoke and he started work on the project a few days after the assessment. The quality of work was fantastic and we will be contacting Mark again for future home projects.

It went well. The owner is fair and made sure that I was happy with the job. I had to ask to them to add felt underlayment and to prime the siding when I noticed that they weren't going to. They did as requested but pointed out that this was not included in the original quote. However, I was only charged a bit more for the extra materials and not for additional labor. That was extremely reasonable. The quality of the work was very good when all was said and done. I dropped them to a B on quality because had I not been there, I would never have known that they failed to prime the siding. The house looks great, and I'd happily hire them again.

It went okay. They were late for the appointment but they apologized for it.

I contacted Mark Dailey of Triangle Renovations, Inc. soon after we had a rainstorm here in Durham. The rainstorm had strong blowing wind which caused my roof leak. Mark came and found the boot around a vent pipe wasn't properly sealed and not properly secured to the roof - the boot flashing was pulled up about an inch or more which allowed blowing rain to get around the vent pipe. Mark sealed around the pipe and where the nails would go to secure the boot to the roof. During this process he found the roof material around the vent pipe would not readily hold the roofing nails and the roof material needed to be replaced. (The existing faulty roof material at the vent pipe had an extra hole cut for the vent pipe in error and it had been leaking causing the material to be water logged and spungy.) Mark was able to reposition the nails in the boot to reach good solid wood and was able to secure the boot to the roof. He indicated the repair would stop the leak and would be good for some period of time. However, he suggested that I should replace that section of roof material at the vent pipe as soon as feasable. I asked Mark what he would charge to replace what was needed and when he could do it, he gave me a proposal for $225 and said he could have his men do it within a week, assuming no rain on the day work was planned. (Well, it rained fairly hard before they returned to fix it but we didn't see any leaks from the temporary fix ! ) Mark and his 2-man crew returned 6/10. Mark outlined the required work to his crew and left them to complete the job. His crew was very polite and worked very diligently; they removed the shingles from the vent pipe area, cut out the faulty roof material, cut a new piece of plywood to fit the vent pipe, secured it to the roof, covered it with new shingles to complete the job. (In addition one worker noted that my deck boards needed to be secured at the steps and quickly secured them for me with screws as well as securing a piece of deck railing - a very nice piece of 'fit and finish' to complete the excellent experience I had with Triangle Renovations, Inc. ! Would I hire them again ? Indeed I would !

We first met Mark during the repairs for tree damage to our house, when he was called in by the restoration contractor to fix bad repairs done by another framer. Mark and his crew performed quality work and used good judgment in determining the method to repair the more difficult damage caused by the tree. He also provided good advice in dealing with the restoration contractor, who was trying to repair the damage in the lowest cost and lowest quality possible: Mark identified and repaired other areas of concern left by the first framer, such as the new roof sheathing not nailed to the roof rafters. Having experienced the first, bad framer, we watched Mark and crew closely and can confirm that they did not disappoint: They repaired the roof in a solid, workmanlike manner. Had we not met Mark, we believe that our house would have been structurally compromised and our repaired roof would have blown away at the first strong wind. Our deck was also damaged by the tree and we decided to re-plank the entire deck at additional cost to us, rather than repair only the damaged area. Mark and crew first reinforced the deck structure which had always been inadequate, and then rebuilt the deck planking and rails. The deck looks great, is now structurally sound enough to support a party, and we get many compliments on it.

Subsequent to the repairs of tree damage done by Triangle Renovations, we hired Mark to replace the siding on our house with cement fiberboard. Unlike the tree damage which was paid by insurance, we were more aware of cost and Mark provided a very reasonable estimate. After our bad experience with a different framer repairing tree damage, we again watched Mark and crew closely for work quality and again, they produced a great result. Mark?s painting sub-contractor also did a wonderful job in caulking and painting both the siding and all the exterior trim. Our house looks much better, both from the street and close-up, and we are confident that we need not bother with siding maintenance for a long time.

He was really nice but the roof was too steep for him.

Purchased deal. Received email from service provider. Called provider. Initially made arrangements for services. Provider had to cancel due to rain. After an attempt to reschedule provider was unable to fulfill request due to the long distance from his usual service area. The service provider was professional and honest with me regarding his ability to perform the required service.

have to hire somebody to replace this shingle--a job I have already paid for! "Provider" did leave a handscribed note in front door saying something to effect that roof "needed to be replaced." This is a 13 year old roof he is talking about. "Provider" was completely unprofessional in all respects. He originally made an appointment and failed to show. The one appointment he did make, he tried to postpone for an hour plus. He was obviously in a hurry. He obviously did not even go up on the roof, but used his "helper" to do that. I assume the helper did the "evaluation LESSONS LEARNED: ALWAYS AVOID ANGIE'S COUPON OFFERS NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH ANY OUTFIT USING "TRIANGLE" IN THEIR NAME (I HAVE BEEN BURNT TWICE). DO NOT RENEW ANGIE'S LIST SUBSCRIPTION. For unprofessional service of this caliber, I could do better finding a business card at the Home Depot bulletin board! UPDATE. Provider returned and replaced missing shingle.

The Triangle Renovations team were fast and efficient once they arrived. The original appointment was rescheduled due to weather and again when the previous job that day ran over, delaying my inspection to the following day. The guys were friendly and quick. The head guy, sorry can't recall his name, even helped me remove a stubborn root in my flower bed so I could place edging around the garden. It just needed a little more muscle than I had to pry the root from the earth. It took 3 solid wacks from him and it was gone. Yeah!!!

He was very professional and knew what he was talking about. Had some good ideas. We had quotes from three contractors and it was a difficult decision to pick one. In the end, we went with someone else.

It was a pleasant experience, however never went forward with work because it was not affordable at the time.

He went on the roof and applied a little caulking and told me that all the shingles needed to be removed and they needed to put a new roof on. I wanted him to simply fix the leaks. I told him I was going to sell the house and not put a great deal of money into the house. He said he could not help me unless I put a new roof on. I paid 125.00 for that?

I sent them a detailed email on a weekend. I emailed them the measurements and the space I needed the work done, a detailed description of the project. They had commented it will take up to 7 days to hear back from them. I waited and never got an email or a phone call. I expected a phone call or an email back telling me either way if they could do they job or not and they just never responded. I sent them the email because the job I needed done sounded exactly like a job they were capable of doing based on their job description. I even read the comments and rating other members left which were way more complicated than the job I needed done.

We met today on time and promised to give me an estimate of the job. He was very professional, seemed to know what he is doing and apologized for not making it last time. Now is the waiting part.

We were very pleased with the work that was done for us on the house. The window sash was going to take longer, getting the right piece ordered and it was communicated clearly to us. The workers were so nice and worked so hard. We would definitely use them again if needed in the future.

They were pretty good. Our siding is now much better. Their work met my expectations for the most part. I would probably use them again in the future if I need to. Their work was good.

Work was completed to our satisfaction. Mistakes by subcontractors were completely corrected. Getting storm damage repaired is a long, trying process, but Triangle Renovations understood our anxiousness to get repairs done after dealing with all the insurance red tape. They acted quickly. When initial roof repairs didn't look right, they agreed to reshingle a wider area (with additional cost) and did so promptly. Contractors working on repairing and replacing some dry wall made a mistake, which was quickly corrected at no extra charge (as it should be). Painters were quick and professional.

Great work, totally resolved problem of leaks around skylight, even after almost a year later, no problem. Very pleased with work done.

I called one day and spoke with the owner briefly. He had a bad cell phone connection, so he asked if he could call me back in 10 minutes. He did not return my phone call. I called him 10 days later, and we set up a time for him to come to my house to give a quote. That morning arrived, and he called me 10 minutes before the scheduled time, and told me he didn't realize how far I lived and that he was going to want to reschedule the time for the quote. I had arranged my whole morning around meeting with him, so this was quite an inconvenience, but I told him we could reschedule for another date. He told me he would call me in 90 minutes to reschedule a time to give a quote, and he didn't ever call. If the quality of his service is anything like the quality of his communication, then I would steer clear.

Get back to ya'l after work performed. It's just nice to know that a business takes a professional approach with the consumer in mind.

He came out and showed the replacements that had to be done. He showed me the posts that go in between to keep people from falling off and then there is a header that goes on top. So that concerned me because that was not pressure treated. So he was supposed to give me an estimate and I never heard from him again. But I would not have used them. I just did not think they are type of company that I would like to deal with. It was a poor experience.

The construction went very well. The crew was professional and courteous. They worked very well together.
