I highly recommend Triangle Renovations (Rougemont, NC) owned by Mark Dailey. I interviewed four other home repair/renovation companies before interviewing and hiring Triangle Renovations to repair a water leak that damaged my kitchen floor, walls, and cabinets. The water spread and damaged my dining room floor. Triangle Renovations provided immediate, quality repair, that exceeded my expectations. Mark’s team arrived the next day and moved kitchen appliances to setup a temporary kitchen in another room so I could continue to live in my house through the repair. Mark even loaned me a microwave oven. His team identified the source of my water issue and repair the pipe. Triangle Renovations then soaked up the water in my crawl space, removed the damaged floor, drywall, cabinet, and insulation in the walls and floor. They brought in fans and dehumidifiers to thoroughly dry the damaged wet areas. After the area was dried and cleaned, Triangle Renovations replaced the kitchen and dining room floors, rebuilt, and installed the damage kitchen cabinet, replaced the floor and wall insulation, drywall, trim, and repainted. Throughout the repair process, Mark was responsive to my communications and kept me updated on Triangle Renovations’ progress through photographs, emails, text messages, and phone calls. I would hire Triangle Renovations again.

They responded promptly. By the end of the next day, they had been to my home to view the job and had sent a written proposal. The proposed price was fair. When I had given a 50% deposit, we agreed on a completion date. When it looked like the weather would prevent work on that date, they contacted me to approve doing the work a day earlier. The materials were delivered the day before the date of completion and the crew arrived on time. The crew clearly knew the routine and had sufficient people to perform the various tasks involved. They finished the roof in one day, only 8 days from my initial contact. Their cleanup was perfect and the finished product looks great.

I hired a contractor and made a friend. Mark Dailey is so professional. He uses his adult sons whom I was able to meet and work with. His sub-contractors were very good. His quotations were very competitive. He is very approachable and always answers his phone or emails.

They finished in half a day. Good job.

Mark is the best contractor I've ever worked with and I will use him again and again for years to come. We first hired him to finish our attic as a storage space and it turned out bigger and better than we could have imagined. Based on our confidence in Mark's team from that job, we moved on to a complete exterior refinishing that made our house look better than new thanks to his team's help in picking an excellent set of colors. At the same time, Mark's team handled a very tricky structural repair over my garage. If you're like me, you want to build a relationship with people that you can trust to perform excellent work at a reasonable price. Mark is A+ across the board and based on our experience, his team can handle a job of any size and complexity.

We hired Mark in June to replace our siding, windows, and add a screened in porch. We had a bit of water damage to our inside flooring, and needed a way to direct the water away from the house. Throughout the process, Mark was enthusiastic, available, and communicative - he responded to texts or answered his phone as often as I needed him. The two primary workers, Carlos and Dean, did a great job on all parts of our house. Carlos was especially knowledgeable, and we're very happy to have his expertise available. The electrician, Brian, also walked me through several steps of the process, and allayed my fears when I thought something was off. We've been finished for a few weeks, had several storms, and I'm happy to report that the water damage appears to have been resolved. Additionally, we have a beautiful, large, screened-in, back porch that my family really enjoys. Finally, the siding and new windows make the house look brand new. As an aside, pricing was reasonable and in line with other quotes we received - the bonus for using Mark was that he listened to the general outline of what we wanted to build and met that as much as possible. His group was also flexible and was willing to change things as we had new ideas. A minor criticism is that we are still finding metal bits around the yard but, with this much work, I'm not sure this is unexpected. I will definitely contact Mark again for future work.

The work done was of the highest quality. The job was done with professionalism...on time and quicker than I expected. Cleanup was excellent. Very satisfied. I highly recommend.

Very trustworthy and highly recommended. Mark and everyone who works with him are all highly professional, efficient, fast, and very reasonably priced. They fully replaced all roof shingles and installed a new skylight in just a few days, and tackled a variety of interior tasks from major to minor, all with minimal disruption of our daily lives.

Mark and team are fantastic. After my initial contact he was out to inspect the needed work in a few days and then had the team on site the next week. All work was completed in three days. The crew was professional, courteous and performed exceptional work. The staircase replacement corrected problems we had from the initial installation (too steep, risers too high, fasteners were nails so boards started to come up) and now is a thing of beauty. Even the dog ramp is 100% better - Mark offered that since he had enough materials he could make it wider. Now it is a very study well made ramp for our pups. Fantastic work and I will not hesitate to call him again when we need some work done.

It was difficult to find a contractor who was willing to work with my insurance company after a major flood I had due to a broken pipe connected to my hot water heater in the basement which is why I was so fortunate to find Mark Dailey, the President of Triangle Renovations, who was very reassuring, flexible and knowledgeable. The subcontractors he selected were high quality and reliable. For this job, he also partnered with Will from No Bull Consulting who knew a lot about working with insurers and did excellent follow-up work. I especially appreciate that Triangle Renovations has been willing to stand by their work and honor the one year warranty.

It has been an absolute pleasure to have Mark and his crew (Carlos, Dean, etc) working on our house. We purchased a 1970s home that needed a LOT of work, including complete siding replacement, roof replacement, remodel bathrooms, demo areas damaged by pets, replacing doors, drywall, the list goes on. We had a multi-month time-frame to finish all these projects while a separate renovation was being done in the kitchen. Mark was fantastic. He communicated regularly with calls, texts and emails to let me know how things were going, what they were doing one week and what the next and he kept an eye out for our interests since we were not yet living in the house. There are always surprises in an older home and Mark was always willing to talk through the best way to handle them to get them done correctly so we do not have to worry about them again. He will always tell you what he's best at and what he isn't, and recommend someone who is the best if it's not him for that particular job. With the new siding, paint, roof, the house has gone through an entire exterior facelift. It is almost unrecognizable and if I hadn't seen the days and days of work and the slow evolution, I wouldn't know it was the same house. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mark and Triangle Renovations to anyone. I've told him he has to let me know when he is planning retire so I can make sure to get him to do any projects I have lingering.

I had been putting off replacing the old greenhouse glass that had frosted figuring total cost would exceed $10K. Mark Dailey and company, Triangle Renovations, got the job done under $4K. I love my house again. The new walkway is gorgeous. Custom garden gates and new fencing - awesome. These guys are on time, courteous and very experienced. I highly recommend these guys. Incredibly frustrating experience with this company. I was told that the entire thing would take 3 - 4 days, it ended up taking 9, with no surprise additional work. The man who did all the tile work just seemed to not care when he finished--he would show up at 10 am and leave at 3 pm, despite my repeated complaints that work was not progressing. One morning he simply didn't show up at all and it wasn't until I called the owner that I found out that there was mechanical trouble. When I asked that I be kept informed of issues like this (I had stayed home that morning to let him in) the owner told me that he "has 150 phone calls a day" and that I would have to "wait my turn." After the tiler left and the owner and a team came back to put the bathroom back together, I pointed out that the shower head was now not completely attached to the wall and had just been left hanging. The owner suggested putting a piece of PVC behind it to attach it and I said that was probably okay but I wanted to see how it looked before he attached it. He ignored that request and just went ahead and did it his way. Finally, the tile work pushed the metal bead along the corner away from the drywall and created a huge crack and rippling in the wall. I emailed the owner and sent photos repeatedly and he ignored me (or sending emails like "What seems to be the problem?" after I sent photos). I ended up fixing it myself. Overall, communication and professionalism was dismal.

The work went well. Mark was very kind and professional. He was able to be flexible in coordinating what he needed to do and what another company needed to do. I would certainly recommend and use him again.

Well pleased with the result. Mark and Carlos were very easy to work with, readily available by phone or text. The siding crew was amazing, fun to watch: like a ballet, everyone well-practiced in their part. Masonite gone, Hardiplank up, in a very short period of time. They were also good about policing up the scraps, nails, etc. The paint crew spoke little English, which led to a few misinterpretations; but in the end the result is a good one. The gutter folks were great; again, they had done this a thousand times, and in about four hours two men had done the whole house. The price was really right--about half what another bid had been. Very glad I'll never have to do this again; but these are good people to work with.

It went well. The work was really high quality. We didn't had any problems since then. Mark and his team were really personable, knowledgeable and willing to accommodate our needs. The project did take longer than was planned.

Very well. Mark Dailey and his team were very prompt, with excellent communication. The work was done in a very timely manner and without any hassle or pushback. We chose flooring that required a bit of extra work (unintentionally) and they took care of it without any problem. When we asked for details to be completed, they were done quickly and we never had to ask twice. They were able to do an extra job (jack up front of house to fix settling and door problems) for a reasonable price. Overall the work was excellent - good quality, promptly performed on a tight timeline.
