Oliver Cupboards Fine Cabinetry is a third generation cabinet company located in Rockwell,NC.(Rowan County). We are a father/ son team serving Greater Charlotte, and the Tri-City area, and take pride in providing our customers with exceptional value in cabinetry and service. Description of Work: Charlie is a fine gentleman, a professional with quality design work. I think that he was overwhelmed with the response from the $49 Kitchen Design offer and this affected his ability to get back with the product in a timely manner. Also I rated this value/price low as I received similar products from other Angie's list providers as part of their initial price quote at no charge.

Description of Work: I think this is an example of a promotion overwhelming a small business. The offer was a 3D rendering of a kitchen or bathroom. They came out and took measurements and had a nice conversation about what we wanted to accomplish. Unfortunately, it took forever to recieve the concepts. Much longer than what was promised. And the output wS not that impressive given the length of time. They may be very good at cabinet related projects. Unfortunately we will never know because the upfront was unsatisfactory.

Customer, you purchased 2 designs from us, one for kitchen, one for a bath. Yes at the time the deal was run we were swamped with work, so it took a little longer than we like to get back your drawings. The kitchen renderings were very nice and detailed. It was a good interpretation of what we felt would work in the space. Something completly different than what you currently have, and accomodated opening up the space. The drawing was nice, ang the quote was fair. The bath design functioned in the size of the space. Will it actually work? We havent the faintest clue as we are a cabinet company, and not a bath contractor. I understand that $50 is a steal for designs, this is why you purchased 2. But geeze folks, get a little background info on the company you are purchasing from. With a name like Oliver Cupboards Fine Cabinetry, I would think it would click that we are a cabinet company only. Please take the time to read our profile, and look at past projects. If this would have happened, I dont feel you would have purchased a bath design also. Prospective customers please be aware, we will not honor specials anymore for bath designs, and will direct you back to angies list for a refund.

Customer, please understand you purchased 1 design, and wanted us to design the kitchen, bar, 2 baths and a laundry. We provided the kitchen only, and in the orientation you specified. Im sorry you were not satisfied with what was provided But expected us to givevway more than what was purchased

Description of Work: I purchased the big deal on 12/26/13 for $49. The company responded promptly and set up an appointment to come to home. |On 1/7/14 they came to my home, took pictures, measurements and listened to our requests. They told us we would hear from them in 2 weeks. We contacted Oliver Cupboards on 2/26/14 after not hearing from. We were told we would have our designs shortly. On 3/10/14 we contacted Oliver Cupboards and asked about our design. We were told it had been emailed to us on the 3/3/14. We told them we had not received it. They resent the design. Once we looked at it we were very disappointment. The design lacked our major requests and even omitted items in our kitchen like our pantry and microwave. The design didn't appear to have any thought in it just lots of cabinets.

Customer, the design was never resent after 3/3, you didnt find it until a later date. Never spoke to me to say it wasnt recieved, and didnt respond to my emails, or messages through angies list message center, so we felt it was a wash. Please also realize that 5 minutes into our meeting you had to run out the door to the hospital, so we were left with your husband speculating on what he thought you wanted to change in the kitchen. The only thing that was not included in thevdrawing that was relayed to us was an island. Due to the very odd shape of the kitchen, there was not room for an island. This was explained to you. You were given the extended cabinetry that you asked for. The microwave also did not disappear, it was placed above the wall oven
