Oliver Cupboards Fine Cabinetry

It's a big fat unfinished mess. Been without a functioning kitchen for six months. Want return my calls. Refuse to return the material that I paid for. Left a big bag of constructional garbage in my kitchen. Full of personal excuses. Saw one of his signs in the historical part of Salisbury stopped there to see if they were having the same problem but no one came to the door. Will have to hire another cabinet maker to finish the job. This man did not follow his contract. Only thing that went well with the contract was the money. Not once did he have drawing his money. He had on complaints. He doing his job was a nightmare for me. Thinking about taking legal action against him.

Never came back... no renderings, no cost estimates, it's been over a year.

There was a major delay with the visit and the execution of the drawing. We received just a basic design in the end.

He came out to my daughters house from Salisbury to Huntersville. Did the measuring and we never heard from him again. We called 3-4 times and he had an excuse each time as to why he hadn't gotten back to us. I then started calling and emailing and he has never returned one call or email. I want my $98.00 back.

We really liked their design and had them build the kitchen cabinets in our current home. They made a quality product and installed it nicely. They also worked within our budget.

The rep came to the house to take measurements, draw some sketches, listen to what we were hoping for in our new kitchen and nothing. No follow up, no phone call, no email, I phoned and left messages and was totally ignored, I'll happily call someone else next time.

Oliver Cupboards did a beautiful job remodeling the kitchen in a rental house I own. The cabinets are of the highest quality and the price was very reasonable. The price above also includes the granite countertops as well as the new kitchen sink. Charlie couldn't have been nicer. When one of the cabinets came in in the wrong size, Charlie immediately ordered another one to make sure it was what we wanted. I also relied on Charlie when picking out the granite. I had decided on another one, but I asked Charlie his opinion and decided to go that way. He was right on. We love the new look!! We ran into a snafu when the people who were putting in wood floors completely messed up the cabinets from a leveling standpoint but Charlie drove all the way back from Rockwell NC to level them again. I have two other rental houses and need to have these kitchens remodeled as well and will definitely be calling on Oliver Cupboards!!. Thanks Charlie!!!

The illustration was not 3 dimensional. He made it clear and apologized that he didn’t do smaller jobs like I had. He was very nice and knowledgeable but I didn’t get much for the price.

The provider does not take his cell phone into consultations (which I can appreciate) but I didn't get a call that he wasn't coming until well after my appointment. He apologized profusely and we set up another time for him to come out. He came out took all the measurements and listened to what I wanted but that was it. Never received anything. At the time he said it was a 6 week turn around but it's been 4+ months.

They came out and looked at the bathroom then took over 3 weeks to send me a copy of their design. It was not good. Didn't make any sense. When I called to discuss the layout the owner admitted that they do not usually do bathrooms - they do kitchens. He admitted there were issues with it. Then told me unfortunately he couldn't really help me and was very willing to refer me to a bathroom contractor. He said they only advertise the bathroom special because Angie's list makes it mandatory if they want to advertise their kitchen business. He was very professional and agreed to return my money since he didn't provide me any service. I NEVER received the refund. I emailed him multiple time to follow up with no response. That is why I am finally rating them now. I was willing to understand their situation and give them a good review when he said he would refund my money. This is the second time I feel taken advantage of (a bad roofing deal too) and will never do another Angie's list deal again. Very disappointing.

Came to home and took measurements as scheduled. Very friendly and professional. E-mailed drawings promptly Discussed comfortly what we hoped to gain and our expected budget would definitely use their service in the future. Felt they understood our desired outcome of project.

He did not Show up and no response to emails and phone calls

I contacted the provider by email and they responded that they are longer honoring the big deal.

It was exactly what I expected. They came as scheduled, discussed the work I wanted done and emailed me the drawing

He came out after we scheduled the service and took measurements and we talked about what we wanted and he shared ideas with us. He seemed like a great guy. We were looking to remodel our master bath. He had great ideas and seemed to be very knowledgeable. He promised us our quote within a week because he was very busy. This was in March and we still have yet to hear from him (in July!!!) although I have emailed him twice.

Oliver Cupboards Fine Cabinetry did come out and did a walk through of our master bath. But, no drawings were ever receveid. I have followed up a couple of times. Only one response indicating that drawings were almost ready. Still no drawings and no responses to follow up request.

They never contacted me to set up an appointment.

They were very quick to respond to the deal purchase and were prompt in on the day of the appointment. I told the rep that I wasn't in a hurry and they didn't need to turn it around in two weeks. However, after a couple of months passed I hadn't heard anything and I sent an email asking for a status. He committed to sending me the design at the end of the week. gain didn't hear anything and had to ask again. This time, I did receive the design but no associated costs. I sent two emails asking for an update. The first one he responded and said he would send that evening. He didn't and he didn't respond at all to my second email. I gave up. The design was fine but with no costs of no value so I feel like I wasted $49. I would not recommend this vendor or this special Angie's List deal.

Got Exactly what I expected. FYI..... The secret to the process is Communication. We were told they were Super Busy and design could take 2-3 weeks. On day 21 I did not call and Demand my design. When we are ready we have full intentions of having Oliver Cabinets do the job. Remember...... "Patience is a Virtue".

He was very nice, but clearly overwhelmed with the Big Deal. He is NOT a licensed contractor, so he cannot perform the work the Big Deal offers, so we decided to cancel the deal.

I set up an appointment finally after trying to contact the provider for what seems like weeks. He didn't make the appointment and has had no contact with me since we scheduled that appointment. I'm very unsatisfied since I bought a Big Deal for this provider.

I agree that I think this deal overwhelmed this small company. I have been emailing with him for almost three months. The last email said that he apologized but really only does kitchens and since mine was a bath remodel he used a subcontractor who has not returned the designs yet. He said he would mail back my money but I will be surprised if he does.

He came out and took a look at the bathroom and provided us with a design a week or so later. We made some changes to the layout and asked for those to be incorporated. The whole process took approx. 3 weeks, but was very helpful to get to the point where we could start purchasing materials for the bathroom remodel.

The big deal has not worked out at all, in fact, we have never received what we paid for. He came out for the evaluation, and never sent us what he was supposed to. I just called him yesterday and left a message for the 4th time. His excuses are, he lost the email, he has been busy, he didn't get the email, and there are various excuses. I bought it for my daughter, and he won't get the business now, because if that is the way he does business, we won't use him. He didn't charge more than $45. He seemed very nice, and we were even going to give him more work. We would like the 3D rendition that he was going to provide for $49.

They specialize in kitchen remodeling but the business had to use the category for bathroom and kitchen remolding when working with Angie's list and they were upfront and said they would not be able to preform the work but I would use them in the future for kitchen remodeling.
