Charlie came out to do a 3D drawing and quote for my bathroom. He was very nice and personable. Unfortunately, I expected the drawing to show the requested corner shower with 2 separate vanities, moved toilet and larger closet as request but instead received a drawing with an end shower and double sink vanity. The quote was "in the neighborhood of $20,000" with a description of the drawing but without any cost detail. Also, I had to follow up and request the drawing as it wasn't provided to me on time (although Charlie said he sent it). Had they provided what I request in the first place, I would have hired them. Yes, I was very clear on what I wanted, why I wanted it that way and showed a picture of the vanity. I also said, I was open to recommendations if he had better idea's - i just didn't expect the drawing I paid for to include his ideas from the get-go. I feel like i wasted my time. As for the $49 drawing... Measurements would have been helpful. It was a good visual aid for someone's bathroom other than mine.

There were no troubles with scheduling and he was able to come out within a few days of purchasing the deal. He spent about an hour or so at our home. We discussed what ideas we had about our kitchen. Charlie got the renderings back to us in two weeks which he told us up front that it would take about that amount of time. It was good. We chose not to move forward with the project at this time.

Service is still incomplete after more than four months from initial visit. (No response to emails on March 15 and19, so I gave up.) Measurements had to be redone and may still be incorrect, according to my contractor. Owner of company was very likable, but too busy to complete the offer to my satisfaction.

Very very well - Charles was very professional, very helpful in helping us to decide our design and prompt in returning the design model. He arrived as promised on time and was fully prepared. He explained the process to us and went about his work quietly and quickly. While we've not been able to utilize yet, it has provided us with a model to carefully assess the work with different contracts. We would highly recommend him and look forward to working with him in the future.

Same complaint that others have indicated. He showed up when scheduled, took pictures and measurements, talked about the wish list, and promised the drawings within 2 weeks. I never got them. I emailed him the middle of April, was told he had gotten bogged down on a custom job and he would have the drawings to me by the weekend. Still nothing. He is a nice guy and may do good work, but I'll never know becasue I'll find someone else. I will have the credit card reversed.

2/20 purchased from Angies list for $49 a consultation for our bathroom remodel with 3D renderings. 2/21 got an email from Charlie thanking me for purchasing his listing. He said he would call to schedule a consultation. He never called back. 3/1 I called Charlie for an update to see if we could set up a time for him to come over and look at our bathroom 3/3 Charlie emailed and said he would be intouch shortly 3/4 Charlie called back and we set up the consultation for 3/7 @5pm. 3/7 Charlie called at 5:20 to tell us he had been in an accident and would not be able to make the appointment. We told him we understood and he told my husband he would call later that night or definately over the weekend to reschedule..... 3/13Since I did not receive a call I called him. We scheduled 3/13 @10 for the consulation. 3/13Charlie did show up and spent about an hour to an hour and a half measuring and taking in all our info. He seemed like a real nice guy. He told us he would have email us our 3D renderings in 1 week. He said he got new software that made it much easier and quicker for him to work up the plans. 3/28 after 2 weeks i called Charlie . I thought maybe the plans got sent to the wrong email or something. He said he was really busy on a custom job. He was making progress on the plans and should have them to me within the week. 4/3 I Called Charlie to check on the status and asked him if he did not want to do the work we would find someone else, no problem. He said he would have the plans to me that night. 4/9 called Charlie on the phone and sent him an email. I told him if I did not have my plans by Friday the 11th I was going to call the BBB and file a complaint, send a negative review to angies list, and call the credit card company to have the $49 charge reversed. 4/11 the day came and went. No Charlie, NO plans. At this point I do not want his 3D rendering because we would NEVER let him back into or house or Never do the work for us!!!

Very professional while here but, I am still waiting for my kitchen design. This has been very disappointing.

They were very prompt and courteous when they arrived. The son took all of the measurements of the bathroom and made notes of my ideas. He did say that they were overwhelmed with requests. A couple of weeks went by and I didn't receive my design, so I emailed them through Angie's list. I did not hear anything still. I waited a while longer because of the holidays. When I did not hear from them I emailed them directly through their website. When all was said, I had emailed them 3 times before contacting Angie's list. They called me and said that they had already sent the sketch, but I checked my email spam box and there was nothing there. The father said that he would send it again but I still did not receive it. When I finally received the drawing, it wasn't complete. It looked like something that was prepared quickly and not finished. I think their intentions were good, but the execution was not.

I got the model and we are going to take a look at it. I was impressed with the guy who came out and his abilities. It took a little longer to get the information but we are not in any hurry so it was within our expectation. He sent the model to me over the weekend and for whatever reason my computer firewall jumped on it so it did not get through. I called him today and he resent it so everything was cool. He did a good job with the design that we were looking for and his pricing was good. The deal that I bought was just for the design and right now, I feel pretty good about the estimate that he gave us. It sure was inline with the other estimates that I have noticed for kitchen remodeling. I would absolutely use him again in the future.

After seeing good reviews on angies list, decided to try them for cabinet work. Talked to Charlie over the phone and setup an appointment for 3/14. Stayed home that day for the appointment but no show and no call. I left him a voicemail afterwards but not even a call to apologize for not showing up. Very unprofessional. Response to your response: The only contact from me to you was through my cell phone. We had exchanged text messages on the same number. That cell phone was with me on 3/14 and that's the phone I used to call you to after the appointment was missed. I had texted you the address along with my contact info and that's how you were able to get back to me. How could your sales person have any other number is beyond me. If I really think about it, if I were in your position where I had to drive 1.5 hours to some place, I would have planned ahead and asked for the address again before starting to drive.

They are great and I ordered a cabinet from Oliver. They are professional and very good quality products.

We went through the process of buying the $50.00 plans on-line and they came over a couple of times to see the space, hear our vision for the kitchen, and show us the plans. The process went well. Charles is very flexible with his appointments. I wasn't done taking dishes, etc. out of kitchen and he gave me two more days to get that done. They are currently here working and I'm so excited to get my new kitchen. Charles and his son are wonderful people to work with, you won't be disappointed. I couldn't believe how reasonable the price is. We had another contractor friend look at the plans, he said they were top notch materials at a very good price that he could hardly match. I will check back in and let you know how it went. Call Charles and get your plans. I can honestly say it's been a very enjoyable experience.

I purchased a Big Deal for a complete kitchen design with 3D renderings. It's been almost 7 wks since they came and I haven't received a call, email or drawings. I told them that I'd like to have the drawings by the end of Jan. so I could discuss with my brother visiting from TX early Feb. and they said that shouldn't be a problem. Would have appreciated some contact to let me know there would be a delay and when I could expect the drawings.

Charlie was very prompt and professional and really impressed me with his knowledge and ideas. We have a small kitchen blueprint and he was able to offer a completely different layout than the original. In order to save some money we decided to rework the existing space with only removal of a short wall. Charlie has been very patient and diligent in tweaking the design to fit all our needs. He is also saving us money by passing on his savings to us. I was especially impressed that his original quote included items that normally would be omitted as "extras" such as light rail moldings, full extension soft close drawer guides, and end panels to match doors. He will be making some custom pieces and even offered to make a special pull out unit I saw in a magazine. His competitive price is allowing us to do our kitchen remodel much sooner than we anticipated. We have signed a contract and look forward to working with Charlie and enjoying our new kitchen.

This company is fantastic. Charlie is great. Spent a ton of time with us working on our kitchen design. Worked with us to ensure the design fit with our budget. We are planning on having them install our kitchen in the next couple months. I highly recommend this company.

We had good cabinets but the fronts were not our style,so charlie suggested we just order new doors. Charlie lacquered the new doors and all the existing bases. We went 2 tone with the cabinets, espresso bases and white uppers. Charlie and his Dad discussed countertops with us and we decided to go with quartz,and they look fantastic. Add a great glass brick backsplash in aqua ,some travertine floors in 24x12 tiles, a stainless steel farm sink, and a fresh coat of paint, and the masterpiece was complete. Big thanks to Charlie and his Pop Charles for the hard work, and thanks for cleaning up enough for my wife and I to continue to live in relative comfort during this remodel!

I will decide whether I will be using them or not once I see the design but everything went well today. They were on time, efficient, helpful and had invisioned the kitchen how I wanted.

We contacted Charlie about remodeling our kitchen. He was out promptly to take measurements and discuss cabinet and countertop options. Charlie came prepared with cabinet and countertop samples, and had some really great ideas for our small kitchen. He asked questions, had solutions, and provided some really nice options. About a week after meeting Charlie, we received detailed designs, showing all of the ideas and options we wanted, along with prices for the 3 different doors we liked. We looked elsewhere for cabinets, but decided to go with Oliver Cupboards, because of the enthusiasm, and knowledge Charlie had about his trade. We ordered the cabinets, and about 3 weeks later they were installed. Charlie's father (also named Charlie) works with him. The guys are very friendly, helpful, and have a great work ethic. They were very methodical in the way they worked. I only took the guys 3 days total to tear out, and install the new cabinets. They also sprayed our hearth cabinets white, and supplied new doors to match the kitchen. They sprayed the cabinets on site and didn't get so much as a spot of paint on our wood floor. They were clean, and it was not uncommon to see someone with a broom in their hands. We couldn't be happier with the job that Charlie and His father did. You can tell by their work that they really love what they do, and want their customers to be happy. And we are happy. Thanks guys!

We got Charlie Shank's phone number from a friend of ours who used the guys for a custom kitchen. I contacted Charlie, and about a week later he came to our home to discuss the vision we had for our kitchen. My wife and I threw many ideas his way, and he noted everything we mentioned. We were pleased to find a manufactured cabinet in his samples that we really liked. He took measurements of the space, and lots of pictures. About a week later Charlie sent me the 3d designs of our new kitchen. We Made a few changes, which he accommodated at no extra charge. The designs were very detailed, down to our new wall color, cabinet color, counter color, and receptacle locations. We signed a contract with Charlie around the beginning of September after much shopping around, and our project was completed seamlessly by september 20th. We were kinda taken back by Charlie when we first met him. Charlie is in his late 20's, and surprisingly, is not just experienced, but extremely good at what he does. There were no mistakes, or parts that needed to be re-ordered, and the wasted trim and extra materials were minimal. He said repeatedly to us that he guranteed his designs to be 100% accurate, and it showed. We selected a cabinet from the Breeze line. The cabinets are built out of ply wood, and maple for the frames and doors, and even came with soft close doors and drawers. Charlie Jr was involved in every aspect of this project. It was suprising to see the man who designed my kitchen there on site the day of install, actually installing the cabinets.

Their work was nothing short of top quality and I could not be happier with the results. Charles and his crew were very professional. Their quote was accurate and extremely competitive, their work was precise, they took great care to limit the mess to the rest of my house and they completed the work on time. I would definitely use them again for future projects and would recommend them to anybody looking for a cabinets and installation.
