Description of Work: Air conditioning unit capacitor failed. Came within 36 hours of call for service and listened to my description of issue then fixed the situation in very short order. Great technician, straight forward and honest with no attempt to up-sell me on other services. |

Description of Work: Diagnosed and replaced air conditioner, furnace. They we always on time, very professional, and perform great work. I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Replaced all the ducts under my house, and a few things regarding my air-conditioning/heating unit. |I'm not sure of the exact date of service, but they are the BEST. Their cost was among the lowest of all the people that I interviewed. Plus they stick to the facts and don't try to sell you other things. That to me was a big selling point.

Description of Work: Identified and replaced a failing heat pump fan motor.

Description of Work: We replaced our 19 year old Carrier with a new 3 zone Carrier. We had a basement zone added, and split our house into 2 separate zones. All of the duct work was replace with new lower profile duct work prior to finishing our unfinished basement. The majority of the work was completed over 2 days, with us being without heat for only 1 night, which was tolerable. The reason I gave a B rating of responsiveness, was that the job was completed while we were at work on a Friday night. We came home to a new thermostat that was complicated to use, and we received no instruction on it, nor was any manual left for us to figure it out. |It took Yellow Dot until the following Wednesday to send someone to send someone. The thermostat was supposed to have been moved, and that took an additional 2 weeks.

Description of Work: They changed my one zone HVAC system into a two zone system to increase the heat to my upstairs bonus room by adding dampers. They had two levels of more experienced service men come to ensure that it was working correctly on two spearate occasions. Very pleased with their attention to detail. very pleasant to work with.

Description of Work: My furnace died during very cold weather. Yellow Dot responded immediately, ordered the unit, pulled the permits and performed a difficult installation exactly as promised at the estimated cost. Their approach was very professional but also personal. The price was lower than another estimate.

Description of Work: Yellow Dot actually installed the HVAC system in my home that was built in 2010/2011. I moved into the home in June 2013. Not counting a service call that the previous owner spent just before she moved in May 2013 ($900), I've had to have two motors replaced (August 2013 and September 2014) and was told at my fall inspection that there is a leak in the system that needs to be addressed. I don't know if any other work was done prior to May 2013. Yellow Dot has been courteous and helpful when I've needed them, but nobody seems to want to acknowledge the fact that an awful lot of things have gone wrong with my HVAC in 4-1/2 years. Is my system a lemon? Should I continue to use them? I don't honestly know. Again, I'm not complaining about their work - I just wish they'd take more time to listen to their customers.......
